well

Today is the day I turn 30... I guess life asn't quite gone the way I wanted, but I guess that's the name of the game down here. It's funny, even though years are passing and i'm getting older, I feel the same inside. I remember when I was a kid, how I to picture my inner self, I still see the same guy today. I guess I've grown more "mature", "stronger" and all things like that, but the essence is the same.

On a more cheerfull note ( bday should be joyfull after all ) I've decided to say "no more!" to microsoft abuses and crappy os. I've fetch myself the latest mandriva (linux) distro and after days of research, trials and errors I've found this great site: [link]

It basically takes you through the process of getting the same apps you'de use for a home desktop. Thought I'de share it since I'm sure I'm not the onlly one who's not to impress with Microsoft latest OS.

Hello all!

I'm usually not much of a Journal keeping kinda guy but I felt a litle intro was in order.

I started drawing about ten years ago. My first art work was the chrono series all penciled. I then explored the light and dark shades of the dbz art work. I had tons of very cool charcoal pics that I have lost over the years. (I moved a lot.) The final pics where Shenron and Purunga which I fortunately still have in my possession. I then moved on to Kenshin Starting with Kenshin and finishing with the giant Sano for my brother's.

About two years ago, I got fascinated with photoshop and digital works. The diferents eye-candy use in skinning etc... I got a photoshope book that teaches various image manipulations and eye-candy. Because i'm not exactly rich I got paint shop pro (psp) 8 (150$ can) instead of photoshope (1000$ can). After deep studies of the different methods for achieving effects I managed to do pretty much what ever I wanted with psp. This broth forth an other era in my art: now i was able to add and combine digital image.

I finally was able to finish up the Super man vs Goku pic, started to shell shade certain pics (like chrono) and compile my own wallpapers.

The last step was to find a place to share the work and see the public reaction. After all this time I never dreamed of having my work on the net, but Hey! Why not!

Enough with the blah blah! Hope you guys enjoy my stuff and thanks for the warm welcome.
