I just wanted to put up a new journal wishing everyone a Happy Holiday. The things I'm thankful for are my family, the friends that I have, getting to spend time with the friends that I lost, my health, my job and for my car being unharmed when a guy tried to break into it at work the other day. What are y'all thankful for?

My brother is stationed there and when I heard about this tragedy I was so worried that he might have been there. Thanks goodness he was at home that day.

***UPDATE***

So we spent all day @ EPCOT yesterday and wow was it a beautiful day. It wasn't at all crowded so it was easy to just leisurely walk around the park and enjoy the sights. There were so many new little food pavilions set up from all kinds of different countries from New Zealand to Argentina and everything in between. Now I didn't try alot of the foods cause well let's face it, I just don't eat that much, but I did have lunch in Japan and desert from Germany. There were also plenty of live shows and wine and beer tastings. We saw Sister Sledge put on a small concert. For those of you who don't know who they are... [link]
We stayed late and watched the fireworks then made the 2 hour trip home. I took some pics so I'll see if any of them are good enough to submit here in a few days.

So I'm back from my wonderful 4 night cruise on Disney's Wonder. We (my boyfriend, his dad and myself) had so much fun. We spent 1 day @ Nassau, Bahamas... 1 day @ Disney's private island called Castaway Cay and then 1 day @ sea. There were so many things to do on board the ship that there wasn't enough time to do everything.

We met some of the friendliest people and ate some of the best food while we were there. Disney really goes out of there way to make sure that you have absolutely everything you need to make your vacation awesome. I will be posting a few photos here and on myspace later this week, so check those out. I took more than 200 pics

So I just got back from something called Chibi-Pa Evolution. [link]
A friend of mine runs it and invited me and some friends to come check it out. It was a very fun, very interesting experience. I have been to a few anime conventions and this was nothing like one of those...lol This was a big anime party. Yeah there were artists and panel rooms and showings of movies and such but the atmosphere was totally different. i was glad I went.

I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my Supernatural season 4 dvd. It is supposed to be here in a couple days. I'm so excited.

Ok, I have been watching a lot of Supernatural lately. Now... I don't have cable or anything like that so I buy the seasons on dvd when they are available. I just finished season 3 and watched Dean go to hell... man that was a sad episode. Poor Sam..

I am now very patiently waiting to buy season 4 on Sept 1st. Anyways I am obsessed with this show now and can't get enough of it. Anybody else have that problem? Is there a show or movie that you just can't get enough of? Let's discuss... feel free to leave a message on this journal. I would love to hear about it...

Hey Guys! Sorry I haven't been updating here that much lately. I tend to update my twitter every day, so feel free to add me if you want. I have been really busy with getting ready for my big trip to my Homestate of Texas to visit my family. I was born in Houston

Anyways, I don't get to visit that often so I am excited about going back there. Maybe I'll get my accent back...lol Also, helped my boyfriend pick out and buy a new (used) car. He got a Scion XB. Looks like a toaster on wheels, it's so cute and so square!

I recently came across the journal of *million-dandelions and was shocked at what I read. Her husband was tragically killed last year and they have a young daughter. So she is asking that everyone please create a drawing or sketch of a bear, any kind will do, to make a book out of to give to her daughter. Please stop by and read her journal for more details. Hola peoples! I'm back from my wonderful trip to WDW. I went there for my birthday last week, and even though it poured rain almost the entire time, we had so much fun. It's amazing what you can do when you have a good attitude. I refused to let the weather disrupt my fun. That being said, I highly recommend going to Disney on your birthday. #1 reason, you get in for free. It helps if you sign up on their website first, it makes the time you wait at the ticket booth much shorter. However, it's not required. I got a special keepsake ticket, made of plastic (not paper like the regular ones) That says Happy Birthday on it. Also, they give you a big birthday button with your name on it. Everytime a cast member saw it, I got a happy birthday wish from them. They were all so nice and cheerful.

My father in law had made lunch reservations at the crystal palace, and thank goodness. We went in and were seated right before the sky opened up and dropped the ocean on us.

It was a large buffet with lots of delicious gourmet type foods. YUM! AND the best part was that it is Pooh themed, so Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, and piglet were all there meeting all the guests and having their photos taken with you. Soon after we had finished eating, our waitress comes to our table (that they had decorated with streamers and confetti) with a birthday cupcake with a candle. It was a really nice surprise. They all sang Happy Birthday to me and then gave me a card which had all been signed by the characters.

After lunch, we headed over to Toon Town so I could now get Mickey and Minnie to sign my card as well. That was tons of fun too. Afterwards, it continued to rain and we continued to have fun riding rides and walking around the gift shops. They even had the fireworks at the end of the night despite the rain. I have to say, The Wishes fireworks at The Magic Kingdom are by far my favorite out of all the different parks.

Hey guys!!! I got a busy week ahead of me

Tomorrow I get to go to [link] MOSI. I have never been here before so it should be lots of fun. Then we (my boyfriend and I) are going to spend my birthday (May 20) at Walt Disney World.

3 days spent in Orlando is tons of fun. We have reservations to eat at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom for dinner one night, then we are going to eat at the Pirates Dinner show the next night...

Happy Earth Day! I am planning on spending a little time outside today, maybe I'll go to the beach and enjoy the ocean. I'm also going to do some recycling today. (well I do it anyways)I save up all the plastic bags I get from the grocery store and take them to the center, rather than just throwing them in the trash. Also my local youth ranch [link] needs them for their thrift store. What are you guys planning for today?

So, I wanna know what ya'll think about this new critique option. I personally think it's a great idea. I know I would love to get some feedback on how I can improve in my art and photography. I am not the greatest on giving critiques but I am going to try and do the best I can. Has anyone else gone to see Monsters VS Aliens yet? I went the other night to see it in all of it's 3D glory...lol I really liked it. It was a very well done and funny movie. Though I do have to admit, the design of the humans scared me a little.

They were like animated caricatures. Kinda creepy. lol

For those of you who don't know me, I work the graveyard shift and my work schedule is a bit strange. Or so I've heard. 8 nights in a row, then 6 nights off.

Hey Everyone! I wanted to send out a BIG THANK YOU to all the people who take the time to participate in my random features and stuff. I really do enjoy helping others by showing off their beautiful works.

I for one am thankful for my friends and family, my wonderful boyfriend who loves me like no tomorrow, my beautiful kitties who show me unconditional love, little blue for being an awesome car, having a nice, stable (so far so good) job, and most of all LIFE. Hi guys, i just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to be cleaning out my dev watch in the next couple of days. It's getting to the point where I can't spend as much time commenting and stuff cause I have so many journals and stuff to look through everyday. Also, there are a few clubs that are either not active anymore, or I'm just not interested in so those will be gone thru also.

I am having an awful time finding new things to draw and photograph too as of late. Art block just sucks. Plus, lack of money for gas to actually go anywhere isn't helping either. *le sigh* Hopefully things will get better soon.

I have been having lots of fun lately playing Rock Band 2. It has so many more songs that I like than the first one. I play the drums too which i have always wanted to do. I know it's not the same as the real thing, but who cares... fun is fun.

UPDATE

Ok so due to the new hurricane IKE, I will be leaving Key West tomorrow early in the morning. I don't wanna get caught in the evacuation traffic that is sure to happen. It's a day sooner than I had origionally planned, but better safe than sorry. I did get to see my friends for a couple days and that WAS the point of comming, so all is not lost. UPDATE

I have been to the foot Dr twice now and he has both times given me a shot in the foot for the pain. Also, now I have a not so sexy boot I have to sleep in. LOL
I will be going to my first baseball game ever tomorrow. I'm so excited. It starts at like 7 pm so before that we are going to visit the Dali Art Museum and out to dinner. I can't wait. I'll be taking a bunch of pics so expect some new stuff from me soon.
Then... I will be going on vacation. I'll be off work for like 10 days.

I'm not sure if I will be doing anything just yet though... got bills to pay first so we will see. I will be home playing WoW though so that will be fun

I just wanted to do a quick update. I'm sorry i haven't been as active her in the past couple of weeks. I have been really tired from my work schedule and I seem to be getting another sinus infection. I am plagued by them, allergies always trying to kill me. LOL The headaches are just the worst. I'm curious to know what ailments you guys have that are just so annoying you can't stand it.

So, I will be trying to catch up on some projects I am running behind on this week while I'm off. I am working on something for my crafts account ~Sunstarr Hopefully I will get it done. It's due in Aug. also, I need to cut my grass again. *bleh* Being sick also ruins my happy mood, grumpiness surrounds me and i hate it. :dies:

On a better note, I am going to see The dark knight sometime this week. I hear it's just awesome.

The theme for this contest is I love my pet.
I wanna see photographs of you and your pet or pets. This is for photography only. The pictures do not have to be "professional" they can be just a snapshot or a polaroid if thats what you have. 2 entries per person. That way if you have a cat and a dog... you can send a photo of each. If you can get them both in the same photo, thats even better. Don't forget, YOU have to be in the photo as well.
The deadline will be May 20th. Thats my birthday :wink:

Phantazmagoria's Fantastic Updates

So this is my week off from work. FINALLY! *whew*
I spent the day yesterday at the beach with a friend, a girl's day out if you will and it was surprisingly relaxing. The beach was sparsley populated and the sun was out in all it's glory. I spent a wonderful 3 hours soaking it up. The water is still a bit cold for my taste, so I stuck to the shallows where the sun had warmed it up nicely. While looking out on the horizon and watching as boats went by, I saw a dolphin swimming . That was pretty exciting.
Afterwards, I headed home and had a nap. My boyfriend and I had plans for dinner and a movie later on in the evening with some other friends I work with. We ate a late dinner then went to the midnight showing of Iron Man. WOW! What a good movie. I totally loved it and would recommend everyone to see it. Robert Downey Jr (being one of my fav actors anyways) did a fantastic job playing the role of Tony Stark.

Spring is finally here and that = HAPPINESS for me. It's my favorite time of year. Nice weather, new flowers are blooming and birds are chirping. I love the feeling of my bare feet in the grass and the cool breeze on my face. I love the smell of the fresh ocean air and the uncontrollable smile i get when the sun shines down on me. I even enjoy those wonderful spring showers.

Well this isn't much of an update... but I felt like typing something, so here it is. LOL
I just watched a really funny movie on dvd. Good Luck Chuck. If you haven't seen it yet, I want you to go to the video store right now and rent it... go ahead... I'll wait.

Back? Good.
Anyways, I go back to work tomorrow... fun stuff. Also, I go back to my Dr tomorrow. I have been off my meds for about a week now and let me tell you what... being depressed and moody SUCKS!!! also, being broke sucks too...lol so thankfully tomorrow morning that little problem will get fixed... *the meds part, not the being broke part*

On another note, i finally started using my Photoshop Classroom in a book yesterday. *I got it for Xmas*
I've had Photoshop 7 for quite some time now and never new how to actually use it.LOL So I'm on Chapter 4 and learning alot.

Ooh... lets see.... what else... OH! I filed my taxes today
and I get a refund... now only if I could keep it, wouldnt that be nice. *it's a long story*

I am so behind on my anime series watching...lol! I just started getting into Full Metal Alchemist. Fabulous show I have to say.

I also wanted to say that I'm sorry to all the people who started watching me because of my sketches and pencil drawings. I seem to have taken the other road and now I'm really having fun with my camera. I have tried to do some new drawings and I guess my heart just isnt into that right now. maybe if you have a special request I can try and work on it for you. Just note me and let me know what you might want. No guarantees though. XD

I was inspired by *kiltedman to do a journal feature on human emotions. I know personally as of late I have been going thru some very emotional things. I won't bore you with details but lets just say that I am emotionally exhausted. My life is constantly bombarded it seems with stressful situations and I honestly don't know if I would feel "normal" with out stress in my life. Thank goodness for my friends and family. Thats all I can say. They have been there for me in all kinds of ways and I want them to know how much I really appreciate them. (you all know who you are). I also want to thank all my watchers and those who stop by here and visit me.One of the things I look forward to is logging into DA everyday and seeing who has left me a note or message, or to see the new arts from everyone.

So I'm the official animal rescue person at my workplace... LOL
I rescued the cutest little tree frog last night. He was hopping across the cold white floor so I scooped him up and took him outside to a nearby flower bed. I'm always saving critters and insects. Spiders, Lizards and Crickets! Oh My

Also, just a quick tooting of my own horn. I have hit the 10 pounds lost mark... YAY!!! I can already feel my clothes fitting a little looser than normal. Now just 20 more pounds to go... Wish me luck!

Phantazmagoria's Devious Thoughts

Just a quick update. I got back from Disney, we had a great time. Got to ride the newly refurbished Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom. Loved it!!! This week unfortunately I am very sick. I have a Dr appointment for later today, so hopefully I will get better before my trip down south to Key West.
For those of you who are following my weight loss progress... you will be happy to know that I have lost 4 pounds since my last entry! Thanks for all your support

Ok guys, sorry I was away for a short while. My internet has been disconnected thanks to a drunk driver. He hit my power pole and it had to be replaced. So all my cable had to be replaced as well. Thankfully now it has been finaly fixed. So I will be reading everyones comments and notes as soon as possible.

So summertime is almost over... soon the holiday season will begin and I am not looking forward to it. Not yet anyways. I feel kinda sad that I have only been to the beach once so far, I was gonna go today but it started raining this morning so we will see.

I actually caught my own kiribian this morning... If anyone else caught it too... send it to me and I will feature you in my journal and possibly take a request for a special drawing or something. Also, I am working on a simple drawing for this fabulous milestone and hopefully I will get off my lazy butt soon and finish it

In other news.... I am making headway in The World of Warcraft... My main character is almost lv 70!!!

*Whew* Finally, my work week is over... I'm off for the next 6 days. YAY! LOL

I am patiently waiting to see the new Harry Potter movie. I hope it will be as good as the others. I have to say right now though that the Goblet of Fire is my fav HP movie. Whats yours?
Also I just saw the new Pirates of the Carribean movie and I thought it was awesome. I was definately not dissapointed. Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom are as swashbuckling sexy as ever!

*PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING RANT* Unless you feel like commenting or sharing some words of wisdom.

I am sooooOOOOoooo broke I cant even afford to pay attention! Does anyone else feel the same way? Like you work yourself to death for nothing. I'm sorry to drop my issues in everyones lap, but I have been really depressed about this lately, I just feel like I need to vent a little. I mean I get paid every 2 weeks right... I spend almost all of it on bills, like everyone else I suppose, and the rest has to pay for what little food I eat and GAS!!! EEK!!!!
On top of that I have been sick so there are the random Dr bills and just yesterday I noticed that one of my tires has a hole in it, so now I have to go and buy a new one. *begs someone to shoot her*

Anyways, if you feel my pain, comment below... I would love to hear about it. Also, let me know how much gas prices are where you live. I'm curious to know who has it the worst...

So yesterday was my Birthday I wanna thanks everyone for the wishes and comments. I also wanna thank the wonderful for drawing me this wonderful birthday picture.

So heres how my day went. LOL! My boyfriend took me to the Zoo in Tampa, Fl. We had packed a picnic lunch and everything. well we got there around noon, it took us 2 hours to get there. We couldnt find anywhere to park, there were so many people it wasnt funny. I literally had to park in someones yard down a side street along with tons of other folks. Obviously something special was going on that day. We get to the ticket window to purchase our tickets and it turns out that it was $3.00 day. Normally admission is $16.95 per adult. Well NO WONDER everyone was going to the zoo today. Anyways, while standing in line I get stung on the finger by a hornet... OUCH!!! man that hurt. I thought my hand was on fire. Then it got all red and swollen... not good. So we go to the first aid booth and the lady hands me an alcohol wipe and say here ya go... you'll be fine. lol
Well its a good thing I'm not allergic. After that incident we proceed into the zoo cause I wanna see some animals and take tons of pictures. Well I get a couple shots off and guess what!!! My batteries die! UGH!!! I was so mad. So no animal pictures for me. LOL
The rest of the day was alright, it was still so crowded people were stepping on each other so we had a hard time seeing some of the animals. But all in all it wasnt a bad trip. After we leave, I get to eat at my favorite restaraunt, then we proceed to my boyfriends moms house. She and his sister baked me a cake and they sang Happy Birthday to me. It was really nice. After we left there we arrived home around 9 pm. I walked in the front door and I noticed Happy Birthday streamers hanging from my ceining fan. I cracked up laughing. Then we noticed that the fan was running in the bathroom, so we opened the door and SURPRISE!!!! there were balloons and a gift and another Birthday cake. I was dying because I couldnt believe all this stuff was in the bathroom. I know it may sound weird to you... but apparently it was the only safe place to put all that stuff. You see I have 6 cats who just LOVE to get into things.
So that was my Birthday experience. I think it started out kinda iffy but ended up great Please tell me what you think. I would love to hear your comments and /or

Ok, well technically my birthday isnt till this Sunday. May 20th, but... since I won't be home to update my journal I thought I would go ahead and post this. I will be going to The Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa on Sunday and I hope to be able to take tons of pictures. I just adore animals and can't wait to go. I just got back from a 2 day trip to Walt Disney World with my boyfriend. We had such a wonderful time. We first went to The Magic Kingdom and saw the new Laugh Floor Comedy show, starring the gang from Monsters Inc. It was pretty neat and pretty funny. Then we got to ride Buzz Lightyear. One of my all time favorite Disney rides. The parks werent busy at all so we had almost no wait time. After that we scooted over to MGM to ride the Rockin Rollercoater and The Tower of Terror. We then stayed for the nightly fireworks show called Fantasmic. It was awesome.
The next day we spent at EPCOT. They are hosting a Flower Expo and WOW! were there alot of flowers. I took tons of pictures and will be uploading them a few at a time. There were topiaries everywhere and a butterfly house. They have also remodeled The Living Seas. Now it has more to do with Finding Nemo. Anyways, be on the lookout for more pics to come, cok=mments are always welcome

This week I thought I would show off some of my own deviations. Some are available as prints and such so if your feeling froggy and you like them please feel free to purchase 1 or 2 of them Lord knows I could use the money...LOL!
