The concert was LOVELY, I had a blast. It's a pity they were just the supporting act because their set was too short and the other band were rather boring.

BUT

I hung around outside the VIP area (the only exit was along one side of the stage so I stood there watching the other band perform) and Roy came by!

ROY IS FIT

It had to be said.
Also said I think I have developed a new celebrity crush.
They're all so much cuter in reality than the music videos, he is especially nice and he got the guys to all sign my very special shoes (remember these? [link]) Now his name is on that piano.

He was so nice, he asked me my name and all about how I made the shoes and where I was from. Haha, that was fun to explain. I know he doesn't care but I felt special all the same.

Thinking that I was just dehydrated I went to get a glass of water just to find out that I could barely walk straight and collided with all possible doorways on the way to the kitchen. Then I noticed that I was shaking uncontrollably, I went back to bed.
Turns out I had a fever, yay.
So I spent Saturday in bed, sleeping.
Sunday was pretty much a repeat only I got bored and watched a maths documentary.
Today I'm better, I can survive longer sitting, I still can't walk in a straight line though :/

So I was sick all weekend so I didn't get to go for my haircut (I've been waiting for over a month now >:U)...
BUT
I got tickets for a gig, yes, Scouting For Girls!!

When I first saw the concert listing I thought it wasn't real, but it's on their myspace so it better be >_>
MOST AMAZING THING: Their UK shows were practically sold out, this TINY show in Germany is not even a solo show, it's a "party" with two bands, AND it cost 11 euro. Holy wow, that's the cheapest of all the gigs I've been to so far!
Still not sold out a week before the gig, amazing again.
I'm trying to figure out how to wear my SFG flats in the cold weather without my mum freaking out that I'll make my cold worse. I was thinking, thick tights/leggings a winter skirt and really huge chunky leg warmers. But first I would need some leg warmers /fail.

So yeah, hope you're all healthier than me! <3

I'm just afraid of getting my results.
THOUGH, I got my chemistry exam back early and akjhgjkgOMG.
I got 97%!
That means I got a very high 7 (we graded on a 1-7 scale with 7 being the best

I'm so happy, I was a little scared of that test, so hopefully the fact that I'm scared about my other results is okay because I did better than I think I did?
Hopefully.

I have to finish all those commissions off this weekend, and maybe Monday. I cannot count on having any more free time :/
Which sucks, I could totally get used to this again.

Amazing! It's snowing in November! â¥

When I was small I used to wish that it would snow on my birthday and on my 17th birthday, that little dream came true.

Tonight the snow is staying on the ground and it's left an impressive cover. Last time I checked it was still snowing, yay!
I would go outside and have a snow fight with my brothers but I've got a cold and I don't feel like it

Oh well, that was a little break from homework. Time for me to get back to physics.

Greetings.
Firstly, thanks for all the birthday wishes! You guys are awesome!

Next, I know I haven't been on at all lately, which is why I made that sketch journal yesterday.
Today I'm all happy because it was my 17th birthday and I had a great day!

Yesterday I baked a big batch of cookies which I then proceeded to hand out to people throughout the day.
I got happy grades in Math. I got three 7's, which are the highest mark so that's an A in other systems. One grade for a test and the other two for graded homework.

At lunch me and two friends went off school for lunch, to be fair we only went next door but that's the closest place unless you want to catch a bus or walk through the cold to some dÃ¶ner place. I had some rice and lentils and some mango lassi

Then in the afternoon, it started SNOWING!
IN NOVEMBER! SNOW!
And it's supposed to be snowing until tuesday, and that's as far as the weather forecast goes.
This is madness, it really is!
Last year we got snow twice, in March, and on two separate days.

Anyway, I got some nice presents from my friends

-A huge mug with matching notebook and pencil
-Hot Chocolate balls, a gift certificate for chocolate fondue for 2 and a Swiss Chocolate Army Knife <3

I also got a necklace with a little gold elephant and a big jangly bracelet.

Okay, so I spend all tonight making my CSS pretty, but if I get time tomorrow or Sunday I shall continue with the free sketches, I'll make a new journal for it too so watch out C:

I felt only slightly geeky after getting a bunch of awards (best achievement in all three sciences, it really does show where my academic loyalties lie). Then I got student of the year for our grade, ugh the geeky-ness of it.

Worst part is: I was in such a great mood later, and I still am 8D

Now I just have to keep this up for the next 2 years and I'll be fine.

Yeah, I've been doing some very hands-on type art lately because I've had almost an essay a day for the past few weeks and staring at a computer screen for so long is a nightmare.

So yeah, arts and crafts it is.

Last weekend I made myself a jeans bag.

This weekend I pimped out an old pair of canvas shoes.

Anyway, this Essaysination should be over by Tuesday. So, maybe some real art after that? 8D

And I had banana pancakes for breakfast.
I love banana pancakes.
I also love the music of Matt Costa and the music of Jack Johnson.
I like monkeys.

Don't ask me how I'm doing this without the internet. Go find my other journal or something.
We sent the router off so now I can't even connect with my laptop and a wire. One computer in the house has internet and my brothers will hurt me to get on.

If you're over at Toasts you may have actually seen that I'm not dead. Other than that I really need to draw more, though I have less free time now, not like I ever had much to begin with.

What's been happening?
Well I went to that Adobe CS3 training thing.
'Twas fun, though it wasn't art oriented but design-yearbook oriented, but it was still educational and fun.
Then one of the two guys I went with had a bit of an accident and completely mangled his ankle. (Okay, so he broke it but didn't know it so it probably got worse that way).

But yeah, teachers have been piling the work on us, and it was all mostly just for the parent-teacher conferences so they would have something to talk about >.<

And now it's OCTOBER
Yay
I plan on drawing plenty, because October/autumn/Halloween are such great sources of inspiration and generally fun to put on paper.

Did I mention I don't have any friends? XD
Well it's true to say that I don't have a BEST friend where I live now, because :usertwilightlavender: is in China!!
So I just feel lonely because I haven't been out with anyone since before the summer...

Really cool, but it means I can't go to Ghosts, which is on the same Friday.

I don't have any plans for the summer.

I didn't get to say bye to my friends because they left before I found them (Oh I feel so loved, shoot me now).
