Hello Everyone,

I finally posted all my new sketches I obtained from NYCC 09. I also have my past sketches from the last couple years of Wizard World Philly and some local conventions posted. My sketch collection is my pride and joy and with the help of the internet I can share it with you. Most sketches are just quickies but there are a couple detailed ones. I have alot of my favorite newer artists, I'm still trying to get some of the guys from the late 80's early 90's but since they don't do as many shows it's twice as hard.

Here's the Link: [link]

Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think.

I'm not sure if it's possible because the files may be too small to work with, but if anyone is interested in coloring one of my sketches feel free. I'm curious to see what they would look like colored.

If you do please send it back my way so I can see it.

What's up all,

I'm looking to get into some serious drawing/sketching over the next couple months, but I have a real big question. What should I draw with?!?!? Up until now I basically use a black ink pen or a typical school pencil. I know alot of artists have their favorites and use varying pens and pencils. I'm just looking for a few good suggestions, like pens and pencils that stood the test of time. I tried to find blue pencils but couldn't find them anywhere, then I found a blue colored pencil at my house and tried to sketch with it but really wasn't feeling it. But anyway any and all suggestions or helpful tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx,

Hey everyone,

I just posted 4 new sketches. Golden Age Flash (Jay Garrick), Harley Quinn, Nightcrawler, and a panel page. I just started working on panels, they are a sad excuse for comic form right now, but hopefully they will improve like my stand alone pictures have. I'm still a long way from reaching my artistic goals but my stand alone single characters improved significantly in the last couple years. I always enjoyed drawing but was never really any good at it, every one always says you need to be born with it, that drawing is a gift from beyond and it put the dampers on my ambitions. In the last couple years I got back into reading comics and started drawing again. I found this time around that drawing is like anything else it just takes practice (maybe alot more than other ventures) and without those people bringing me down with their drawing is a gift talk I feel much more comfortable about the whole thing. Again I'm no where near what I would like to do but I'm happy to finally be able to sit down and draw the characters I loved for so many years.

Hope you enjoy my sketches.

Cheers,
