On the far more important side of life, I went to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets. Completely and totally awesome, and Justin Bartha(Riley) Is the greatest person ever. I want one of those next Christmas. Or anytime, really. Rush delivery is preffered.

But I shy away from the point. In the preveiws, there was something amazing a trailer for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. There are three things you should know about this: ONE: It comes out four days after my birthday, so you know where I'm going. TWO: William Mosley is a young Leo DiCaprio(Check 1:37 of trailer), and THREE: ..... i dunno. Three just sounds better than two.

First of all, there's really no reason I haven't posted anything lately. I'm just lazy. And addicted to fanfiction. And I haven't been really happy with the peices I've done lately. It's like I'm going through a weird transition of styles. I still love drawing anime, but my art teacher pushes a realistic style... and they're just not meshing in my art. SO stuff isn't turning out the way I mean for it to, and I'm really quite frustrated with it. And I'm retarded, so when I draw eyes, they don't match, so I just stick emo bangs over one of them(It's a trade secret, people.) Myeh.

I don't think I'd taken midterms last time I posted.... Yeah... those went okay. The Algebra 2 one could have been better, but I still have a B, so it's okay(I do not look foward to that Final.) As for Biology... well, I must say I look foward to that final. And I hope there's a lot about conjugation. (For those of you who don't get it, click this: [link] ) And then there's Art 2..... and Band.

It's quite entertaining. We had a our Christmas concert last night, and we held it in a Freemason temple. I just watched a whole Discovery Channel special on the Freemasons. It was enteresting, and I now firmly believe that the Freemasons DO NOT want to take over the free world and convert them to satanism. Oh, and as it turns out, you don't have to be a mason. You just can't be atheist, which is totally weird, because who cares if you have a religion anyways? I mean, I'm a Buddist, but seriously, why should you care? Does that effect my overall value as a human being? No? Yeah, I didn't think so either.

On the brighter side of life, it's almost Christmas! I love Christmas. I'm attached to the commercialism of it. And the presents. I don't know why we get presents on Christmas, but I do know that who ever decided that we needed presents on December 25th, I like them a lot.

I looked up at the Journal entries list a minute ago and realized something: last time I posted, I still had a boy friend. Yeah, I ended that. He was too much a like a brother, so yeah.......

Do you ever just feel melancholy, for absolutely no reason? I've been feeling like that lately. I'm not sad. Just kind of... I dunno. But this always happens to me around the holidays. I feel surrounded by people, and I'm happy about it. But it's still kind of disattaching. I think it's like the feeling I get when I play the flute. I read something once: When people hear god music, it makes them ache... it makes them homesick for some place they've never been, and some place they'll never go.

Well, I'm sleepy.... and I want to write some stuff and (maybe) post it tomorrow(If not, I plan to [honestly try] to post SOMETHING over Christmas Break.....)

So I went back to school like... the 27th of August. It's been really good so far. I have Honor's Algebra 2(Which I have a 97% in), Honor's Biology(91%), Art 2 (95%), and Honor's Band 2(99.9% ftw). Of course the fact that I've had Homework EVERYDAY since school started has kind of bummed me out, since last year I had homework a grand total of 2 times. EVER. It's kind of like getting smacked in the face. Not in the nice way either. Lol.

Band updates:
Band, as always, is mucho fun. Colorguard is fantastic, and a lot of fun. On the other hand, we went to our first competition last Saturday, and we didn't even place. A lot of stuff went wrong. Our trumpet soloist's valve STUCK for the whole freaking solo. The percussion went crazy. A train went by in the middle of our preformance(That happened last year too.). But I came in in a really good show year, and it shocked me because I'm so used to placing that it stunned me when we didn't.But, as always, I'll recover and do better next time around.(BTW, the highest band scored a 87.... WTF?!?!!)

Love Life:
I have a love life*faint*. My friend who I've had a crush on for.... a long time(Like.... since a week after I met him? XD) Asked me out the Friday before school started. I'm really happy, and he's a really great guy. That's all you need to know.

Art updates:
Well, I did my first still life... ever. But it's been hijacked by the art teacher because she wants to display it.... so I can't post it. But I'll probably get a picture of it to post ^-^ I'm working on random peices that are turning out pretty good(So far). Cute stuffs, btw. Like... Sanrio fanart XD

So this has been a pretty good summer break. A little long actually, because our summer break is turning out to be a little over two months long. That's like... 60 some days. That's way long. Like, way, WAY long. Massively cool stuffs have been happening, and of course some slightly depressing stuffs that have to do with the uber cool stuffs.

This summer has of course been a summer of pure Harry Potter-ness, which has been awesome. Of course, the book coming out has caused people to die off of the internet for a little bit, but you know, they'll all find their way back eventuallly. <3. I, luckily, had enough time to finish it all in one 5 hour sitting(*not gloating*... *shifty eyes*)

You all already know that I'm extremely pleased with the book(Look out for a mourning-of-Snape picture in the near future). It envoked a lot of emotion from me. I have now officially laughed, cried, screamed(yes, really), jumped, slept, shaken, gone insane, and gotten over it for Harry Potter. It still hasn't really fully set in for me that the book series is over. I sent an email to MuggleCast a few days back, and I told them that it felt as if I've just read a supremely well-written fanfiction, and I'm still wating for the real book to comeout next year. But that fact that it's over is probably going to set in in a few days, and I'll probably go into a Harry-Potter-induced coma or something melodramatic like that. Won't that be fun?

AS for the movie, which I also loved, it was really quite good. It wasn't my favorite(I'm very attached to the first movie actually. It's got a kind of happy feel-good vibe. And Dumbledore is better.), but they got it pretty good. I know a lot of people weren't that happy with it, but I think that if you go into a movie based off of this massively well written, cult-classic type, ultimately fan-worshipped book expecting that you're going to get the exact same affect from the movie, you're just screwing yourself over. I'm really just happy with it as a movie, and it covered everything that you needed to know(Where-as some of the other movies has missed things that they're going to HAVE to introduce sooner or later to have the movie make any sense...)

Anyways, in case you've been: A- Asleep, B- Ignoring me, or C-Just kind of unattentive, I've been on a bit of an art break. I think I'm actually going to drop Art 2, because I think Art 1 just kind of ran me into the ground and sucked me dry. It's not that it was particularly demanding, and I learned a lot of things, and I remembered a lot that I'd forgotten over the years that I didn't draw at all. The fact is, I've gotten what I wanted out of it, and I just like for my stuff to kind of... flow. I don't think art can be demanded that way that she seemed to be demanding it from us. So I think I'm going to take up ceramics(You needed art 1 for that anyways).

So if anyone is going to feel neglected if I don't talk to you for a week and you don't know why, I'm letting you know: I'm going to a lake in South Carolina, and temporarorly abandoning you all! . Yeah, I'm going down to visit my Papa, and I'm taking a friend with me... so yeah... should be fun. And we finally got a memory card for the camera, so I'll take lots of pictures, cause it's REALLLLLLYY pretty down there!

But before that(As in tomowrrow), I'll be going to: BAND CAMP: SOPHOMORE DAY. w00t. Go bad geeks, yeah? I got new rubber caps for my flag, becuase the other ones were like... falling apart. I really can't wait for B.C. to get started for real....

I never thought that any of the trio were going to die. I surprised that all of the Malfoys survived. I was like ".....woah.". And Dobby died. I cried. A lot. But Kreacher turned out pretty cool. As for the Epilougue.... it was probably the cheesiest thing I've ever read from JKR. I did like the little bit about Harry's son being worried about being in Slytherin, and one of the bravest people he ever knew being in SLytherin. Yeah. It was cool.....

O....M....F....G. So I got home at like... 3 AM last night, because I went to the Harry Potter midnight showing. It was packed in the theater, of course. We have a 20 screen theater, and I think they all seat 200(250, maybe?). Yeah, there were only like.. 50 seats left in the entire theater. That's a lot. My friends and I got there about an hour and 45 minutes before the movie started, and the teater was already filled 3/4ths of the way, which is crazy. SO then we sat there for like... another hour and then some.

Personally, I think the movie was absolutely BRILLIANT. I don't ever go in thinking 'Hey the movie is going to be so true to the book', because I think if you do that, you're just setting yourself up for disapointment. This has been the first time that my friend has read a Harry Potter book befire seeing the movie, and she was really mad by the end, because she wanted quidditch and it just wasn't true to the book. But the thing is, I couldn't sit through a nine hour movie, and if they stayed true to the book, that's probably how long it would take.

The kiss scene between Harry and Cho was dissapointing, even if I do hate the pairing. It was kind of like..... bad. The only thing that touched were their mouths, which is unrealistic. But yeah. Considering that was the worst thing about the movie, they did really good <3

So the movie was brilliant, and aside from that one scene, the actors did a fantastic job. ESPECIALLY Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, and is my new hero. If anyone has seen the picture of the dress she was wearing at the Dublin premeir, I'm making that. Cause it's awesome and full of win.

I got a second hole in my ear(As in my ears are now peirced twice). Um...that's not important, but I figured that someone might be interested. That, and the fact that I amazed myself with going through with it. That's pretty intense.

I went down to my Uncle Chris' beach house. That was flippin' sweet. It was out on the intercoastal waster way, for those of you who know what that is ^-^ We went out on a boat a few times, all of which we saw dolphins! They were sooooooooo cute O.O Oh, and I got so sunburned I pretty much hated my self for a day. lol.

We had our Spring Concert for band just this Monday. It was soooooo awesome. But we had to share the auditorium with the Orchestra. Boo. JUST KIDDING. Orch Dorks are pretty intense. Now here's the best part about the concert: CONCERT SEASON IS OVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! w00t.

And I'm on color guard this season ^-^ That's awesome. I really want to do a drum corp sometime before I would age out, and I play flute, so I can't get in right now. But ummm...yeah. It's fun so far ^-^ And we know our show theme for next year! It's the Prince of Egypt! So I rented that movie the other day, and watched it again(I haven't seen it since I was like...6) God is really vindictive in that movie! Lmao.

Yay^-^ After 85 Hours, 11 minutes, and 55 seconds.*dies* Okay....hmmm...I dunno what I should play next. I'd love to play Dirge of Cerberus, but I never played the original FF7, sadly. Though I have seen Advent Children, which is a GREAT movie, for those of you who are interested. Blockbuster has it ^-^. And then there's Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, which I would so get, because I think the voice overs are in english, but the captioning in Japanese. But I also know that some of the scenes are silent, which would kind of screw me over.... I dunno. I think it's being released here this time anyways(September, maybe?) Also, I'm thinking Tales of Symphonia, because my friend told me that it was actually a lot better than Tales of the Abyss...I dunno...

Anyways, I've started Art one. Haha.... we're doing 2 pnt. perspective... which I also did in 4th grade But more power to me, because I know how to do it. It's a good refresher, considering that I really hadn't drawing since 5th grade up until june of last year. That's a small explanation about the fact that I seem to have gotten a lot better really fast. I really haven't developed humungously as an artist, I'm just remembering the stuff I used to be able to do, and adding in some new elements and forming a style w00ts for me.

And for anyone who's intrested in seeing the new music for band go ahead and comment, cause it's soooooo cool! We're going to contest soon, and the music is like a grade 6! It's really not extremely hard, just REALLY fast. Like 210 fast. One of our songs(judged) is Prelude and Rondo(David Holsinger);we haven't gottent the other song yet; and our march is Men of Ohio, which is fun, but sounds like circus music. I'll probably scan that in sooner or later...

The MisAdventures of Black Friday

SOooooooooooo, on Thursday night, my GameShark decided to crash(Yes, I do own one, no I don't use it on games I haven't beat, because I like a challenge). Well, obviously, nothing is open on Thanksgiving, so I waited patiently until morning to complain. I got the one that crashed back in May for roughly $40. Obviously, I didn't have the reciepe(Reciet?THE LITTLE SLIP OF PAPER!!!) anymore, because I am simply not that organized. So on Friday, I went to Best Buy(<3) to get a new one/ find out why the old one crashed. Well, the people at best buy said it was too scratched up, and I got a new one for $20. Sweet. What sucked: What should have been a 15 minute trip took about an HOUR AND A HAlf!!!!!!!!! I nearly got run over by a car about 9 times, I got run over by little old ladies about 4 times, I got pushed out the aisle for the gameshark 7 times, and the line was really long for check out. The moral here it: It may be fun to go around stores and laugh at the people shopping on Black Friday because they weren't smart enought to use the net; but actually SHOPPING on Black Friday:Not such a great idea.

MONDAY:

I got meh report card. Needless to say, it drove me crazy all day But I amazed myself. Here's what it looked like:

w00ts for me. ^-^ I feel smart. Those are the highest grades I've gotten since like.... elementary school. Middle school wasn't great for me.

Tuesday:

World History test. It was on the Reniassance(Like I spelled that right :d ) Very easy. I got 106 on it. What can I say? I'm a history lover. Especially Italy. They have wonderful food.

Wednesday:

I had to do a chair audition for the concert season.We get the results on Monday*quakes in fear*. The audition wasn't especially hard, I just suck at sight reading But I think I did good. The rythms and all but 3 notes were right. I ignored the time signatures.... one of the was 9/8...I can barely even cout to nine!!!!!!!!!

Thursday:

Last day of school for this week. I finally went to a JCC meeting (Japanese Culture Club ^-^) It was awesome. Mr. Matney is awesome. He did voice overs(He did some in Oh My Goddess) The club is thinking about going to Animazement(It's an Anime Con in North Carolina(The ONLY one actaully >.< )

Friday:

By some sort of freakish miracle, ever high school in our city made it to the play offs....dangit. SO we had to go play at that game. It was an away game, and their band wasn't even THERE! So they played a CD instead. Losers. It's not even a recording of them. Lmao. Unfortunately, we won <<; I should be happy, but I don't wanna have to go to another game They're fun, but I like my Fridays free... ah well, we'll lose next week anyways.

Today:

I had to go to the mall at 9 AM this morning. we paraded around with Santa Clause in the 80 degree weather of NOVEMBER. Afterwards I ate Chik-A-Filet and Starbucks, bought the 9th manga of DNAngel, and some FMA pins before going home.

My friends decided to make an 'I Love Zack' group on My Space O.O. Wow. Stalkers.Lmao.

I wasn't a nearly as nervous about my midterms as I thought I'd be. And I did good. I got a 92% on the one in Geometry, and a 99% on my History, so I'm happy for now.

I had to go to a ceremony for the dedication of our school's new court yard and play to make up for the Exhibition that I missed for band. I nearly died, I was so bored. Old people can really talk...You'd think that since they were dying, they'd be like "Can't talk! I have to hurry and fufill all my life's work before I die!" But noooooooooo Some lady talked about how her and her NINE brothers and sisters went to the school, and how they were in all these clubs, and how they grew up and how half of them died, and how when she was in school there wasn't really a dress code(Not that anyone follows it now). Oh. My. God. And we couldn't even eat any of the free food cause it was on the other side of the court yard!

Enough with my ranting. This journal is really just to let you know I haven't died. SO there you have it! ^-^

I got back to the school to get ready for the football game, and to eat(It was senior night so we gots food in the band^-^) before we got into out uniforms. Well, I got on my uniform, and went to meh locker(This is still in the band room) to get my shoes out, only to find out that I left the key to my lock in my purse AT MY HOUSE. So my shoes were kind of stuck in my locker, and I couldn't get ahold of either of my parents to bring me the key, and we couldn't cut the lock. But I have awesome friends, and they opened the locker door without breaking(Or opening for that matter) the lock or the locker. I'm still amazed.

So at the game, we had the people who our competition is with in the stands. That was fun. Our preformance wasn't at it's best. I thin we were all just really stressed out right then, because of all the homecoming stuff at the game. So on the way home me and my Mum had to stop at Hardees because meh dad wanted us to bring him a Mushroom Swiss burger. SO we stopped, and they were out of mushrooms. SO we went to the other Hardees, and THEY were out of mushrooms.

This morning I got up at 6:50(Pretty late for me, but w/e) to get ready for a small extra credit playing we were going to do at the opening of a marathon thing. So I got to the school at like 8:30, and we left at 9. We'll we get like 5 blicks from the school and pull over because the bus is defective(It wouldn't stop beeping...), and we didn't want to be on it when it exploded(Kidding...it didn't explode[yet]) . So meh Dad came and picked me up. But we still got the extra credit for showing up(It was optional).

And at 2 I have to be back at the school because we're going to White Oak(Band competition).....oh me oh my. And we have a Band Exhibition on Tuesday.

So now you all know why here hasn't been my activity on my part lately. After everything dies down again, I'll be on more. And I think I'm going to take requests again when we get into November. SO yeah, start thinking on it.

MEAN WHILE, my allergies are also coming back. So now it feels like my ear drum's gonna explode. And I've had the band in my ear all night. We're not that big, but DANGGUM(Inside joke...) WE ARE LOUD>.< And I can't take anything for my allergies. Here's why:

-i'm allergic to the BEST allergy med: Claritin D
-Benadryl makes me sleeoy
-Mucinex only works on chest congestion
-And you need a prescription for Allavert.

I am soooo screwed until the pollen goes away. Hopefully winter will be early here this year. Tomorrow's the first day of fall.... SOOOOO much better than summer. Winter is the best though. Anywhat, I have officially survived 3 weeks of school. Only 166 days left.... *le sigh* Okay, so yesterday I didn't go to Band so I had to do a reportO_o. Lol. I just checked out early is all, incase you think I'm skipping Anyways, that sucked. On Tuesday, We had Band afterschool as well. It was fun, but our director got rather mad at the flutes and clarinets(Which includes me, a flautist) Because we weren't really paying attention. There's a perfectly good explanation for the not paying attention! It just so happens that the Cross Country team had practice that day. So at the beginning of the rehersal, we had a giant group of cute, shirtless guys run past us. ^^ Towards the END of rehersal, we had a giant group of cute, shirtless, sweaty/shiney guys run past us. Let's see. Meh first class is Band 1, which is cool, of course. Except for the fact that our Director is a Drum Major. Little loud for 8:30 in the morning. We finally finished the whole show as well. Now were in the clean up stage, and our first competition is on the 30th. Fun fun! I'm just happy that the Death Camp is over!

Next is gym. Not fun. Since the End of Course is to run a full mile without stopping, they like to make us run. Luckily, I'm in pretty good shape, so I can make it pretty far. Not a mile with out stopping, mind you, but I'm doing pretty good. Also, we only have gym every other week. We have gym, and then Health for a week. *Joy* I don't like health. It's rather pointless.

Then my Honor's Geometry. Mucho boring so far, but I guess it's because I took half a semester of it last year, since we finished Algebra early, and he did want to burn us out on it. The teacher's nice, but she's a little condescending. The best thing about this class is that it's about 30 minutes too long, so we get to do our Homework in the class.

then lunch. Unfortunately, I don't have lunch until 1:15 in the afternoon. That's a long time, since I don't eat a huge breakfast. Oh well. i've only acutually bought my lunch once. the rest I've bought, because the food sucks, and it takes 30 out of 40 minutes just to get the food.

Last class is Honor's World History, which is teh BOMB. The teacher actually knows what she's talking about(She's been teaching 65 years), and she's absolutely hilarious. And we're studying Egypt. I luv Egypt. It's a cool country(My best friend makes fun of me for that, cause he's JewishXD)

I did my first show on Friday. Much fun. We lost the match, but it was a scrimmage, so it didn't mean much. Ahaha. I've never marched on grass before. We don't actually have a home field, because it's so crowded where the school is, so the band always marches on pavement.(Makes your balance better I think...) Grass was a nice change.

And yesterday I went to the mall. I'm a mall rat, really. I love going. But they're doing a bunch of remodeling right now, so some stuff was closed....AND THE CANDY SHOP IS GONE!!!! G-O-N-E, gone!!!! *sob* They had everything.....At least the chocolate shop was still there-for now*twitch*- Yeah...I bought these cool lanterns for my room, and got a necklace. Not much, but I have too much stuff anyways. Lmao. They were giving out free pretzels too*yum*...I'm rambling. 1. I draw fanart mainly. Lots and lots of fanart.
2.I do a lot of pen work. That's how I got started drawing really. I used to doodle with a pink pen(I still have it. It's a bit of a good luck charm)
3. I'm actually a little better at drawing girls than guys as you may/may not have noticed with the fairy pic I drew. I just have more fun drawing guys, and the anatomy is less questionable.
4.I'm multi-talented. I write, photograph, draw, act, and play music. All forms of art^-^
5.I'm absolutely crap at PhotoShop, OpenCanvas, ect. I've been practicing on OpenCanvas though. I've improved a little Not much though.
6. I like to carry paper and pencil with me every where, even if the paper gets folded.
7. My best artistic times are late and night, and when the moon is full. Just kinda noticed that one day.
8.I never leave a drawing unfinished.
9.I won't draw two things at once, because I have a varying style, and I tend to take on a bit of the creator's style when I'm doing fanart, so if I do two at once, they look wacked out.
10. I'm better at drawing Al Elric than Ed Elric. It's true.

If you DON'T understand, I'll explain. A day w/o cloud cover in the middle of summer is pretty much self explanitory. It's hot and sticky, and you're out marching for four hours. It sucks. Not only that, it makes your pitch REALLY flat, so you have to tune twice an hour. Myeh.

On a day that's rainy, it sucks too, because its sticky, and slippery at the same time. Also, I play the flute, so if I play in the rain, I can ruin my keys, because they're sealed with a special cloth, and If they get soaked, they're useless.

Myeh......I like to rant. And people, If you haven't already, go look at my masterpeice. The Mad Hatter ish FINISHED!!!! I'm so happy lmao.
