I also incorporated by latest DA photos into the website so it will bring my website visitors back here. Haven't done much shooting since Alaska but still editing those photos. I saved some Christmas and birthday money as well as savings and bought the Canon 50D with the 18-85 mm IS lens. So far so good except when I first set the time I turned it to 2008 so my first batch of photos have the wrong year. It is now fixed and I was also able to change the date in LR as well. So I turned 49 on the 29th and I am getting closer to the big 50. Let's hope this year will be more creative for me.

I shot over 250 images so if I can motivate myself to doing more trips and doing other types of images, I should be able to get close this year.

The only colorful thing I got to put up was photos of my new car, a Mazda 3 sedan and now I can't/won't drive it in this weather. Maybe things will improve in a week but looking at the forecast I doubt it.

I have been so busy training for my new job and am really enjoying it. I have one more week of classrooom training and then my final exam on Friday. Then I am going to start taking phone calls.

Anyways, I just went about my stuff today and the phone call came and I got the job doing call centre work which I enjoy doing. The pay is excellent which will be nice so I can save some money and also upgrade my camera and lenses.

It's amazing what prayer and the support of friends will do!!!
