                <description><![CDATA[ aside from being a (noob) photographer,<br />i do a lot of work related to the fine arts.<br />i've done oil paintings, charcoal drawings, pictures with pastel, etc.<br />lol, i'm actually a better drawer/painter than photographer...<br />but somehow, none of that work has really shown up on dA.<br /><br />recently, i've come across a really strange fact:<br />my left hand is quite good at drawing, too!<br />haha, i'm a righty and somewhat perfectionist, so making the thickness and darkness of my lines usually matter.<br />but drawing with my left hand is a lot more free and full of surprises.<br />i really love it. lolll!<br />the lines just seem more "original" or something.<br />something good.<br /><br />one day i'll upload some drawings or paintings.<br />(i'm over with anime, for those who've known me longer. lol.)<br /><br /> ]]></description>

                <description><![CDATA[ tuesday, yesterday, was a fun experience.<br />i went with ariel's mom, her sister, bethany, and their family-friend, cornelia.<br />anupa <a href="http://lookingglasschariots.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="http://a.deviantart.com/avatars/l/o/lookingglasschariots.jpg" width="50" height="50" alt=":iconlookingglasschariots:" title="lookingglasschariots"/></a> and allegra also came with us.<br />the point of going to new york city was for one purpose: photoshoots.<br />we just took up random streets that were empty enough for use.<br />new yorkers are great that way, because no one cared to be snotty and tell us to leave. <br />they just looked on as we worked, but kept walking all the same.<br />i want to live in the city one day,<br />but at the same time, it's kind of scary.<br /><br />my photos were only decent,<br />but not good enough to make up for the effort of actually getting into the city.<br />that sucks. oh well. x:<br />at least anupa did well : D<br /><br /> ]]></description>

                <description><![CDATA[ my lenses came in the mail today.<br />everything fit perfectly and i had no accidents in handling the equipment (lol!) : D<br />but of course, since both lenses require a long tube-shaped lens adapter, the tunnel effect appeared in my camera's lcd.<br />"vignetting"?<br />not much can be done about that, right?<br />(i just zoomed until the tunnel disappeared.)<br /><br />one day i hope i can get a real slr camera and super camera lenses,<br />but right now i'm over-the-top content.                 <description><![CDATA[ ariel slept over tonight after an uneventful trip to new york city with the family and some "friends".<br />we were so set on shooting out in the big apple.<br />but we got instead, some really crazy hair and an oriental shirt.<br />teasing the hair ("sex hair") took only about five minutes...<br />but it kept falling flat because we used no gel.<br />our replacement: hairclips.<br />ten of them.<br />we're about to fall flat on our faces.<br /><br />good night.<br />hope this series "gloomy bear" was a good change and out-of-the-ordinary.<br /><br /> ]]></description>

                <description><![CDATA[ i finally convinced my parents to take me to circuit city and... the quest is over.                 <description><![CDATA[ even though i'm the one with the least homework to do (surprising since i thought highschool gave tons), i have no new pictures to update my dA with! :/<br /><br />i guess it also has to do with my lack of models. and i don't go out nearly enough around this time to take pictures of strangers walking along. and though this doesn't seem significant enough a reason to complain: i don't have a good camera, either. lol. there. i said it. and my money-saving towards a dSLR continues... (current: $200. needed: x__x)<br /><br />garrr.<br /><br />i wish i could drive. one of the big places i want to photograph is new york city, since it's the next best thing that's also not too far away from where i live. i should probably look into some national parks too. i hear new jersey has a sculpture park somewhere.<br /><br />my birthday's this friday (the 23rd)!<br />won't anyone celebrate with me? 8D<br /><br /> ]]></description>
