It's been a long time... I know I said in my last entry I'll be around more, but other things came up (like the fact that I got a job ). My life's been pretty hectic of late and I really didn't have time for... well, anything, to be honest. Anyways... Among other things, I went to the film festival in the Danube Delta with my friends, with tents and everything, and it was wonderful. I hope we'll go again next year, though it's a bit complicated for me with the final exam and diploma and all. My friends are in architecture, so they study 6 years instead of four, lucky bastards (no offense, dudes ). I also went to Turkey with my Mom and I'll just say that we had such a great time there that we might go again next year if we have enough money.

And that's about it, because I'm to lazy to write more and because probably the few people who actually read this know me well enough to know what I've been up to

But I'll do what I can to go trough all of them as fast as I can. Especially since I have less than a week and a half to do that, because I'm leaving Bucharest next week and I will come back around 10th August, only to leave again for the film festival at Sf. Gheorghe (that's in the Danube Delta). And then I'll probably go to the seaside... and in September I'm going to Turkey with my Mom, so, to put it short, I still won't be around dA much until October.

So. First. If you left me a message or a comment sometime in the last, say, 4 months, and I reply to it now, or you posted a pic ages ago and I comment to it now, dont freak; I just haven't opend my page on dA for... well, I think it's been about 3 months at least (I know, I suck). Second, if you leave me a comment or something, I will reply to it, sooner or later, depending if I'm in Bucharest or not. Third, I'll probably put some new drawings when I return in August, since I hadn't much time to draw lately, and maybe I'll post some photos before I leave, starting with a new ID pic.

And last, as this will probably be my only journal for the summer, I want to wish everyone a happy summer vacation. Have fun!

I've been pretty much buried in all sorts of projects lately, and I still am and will be for the next couple of months, but I'll try being around as much as possible.

I'm also having a sort of artist's block, which is not entirely a bad thing, considering the fact that I can't afford the time to have too much inspiration right now. To translate, that means that I won't be uploading a lot of new stuff these days. I might post some sketches and some older stuff.

I've been on a mountain trip last weekend (something for the practical period we're supposed to do this year), and there was still snow up there! We also visited Slanic, which is a salt mountain with the biggest salt works in all of Europe. I'll probably post some pictures I took. I'll also upload some spring themed pics I took in a forest close to Bucharest and in the Cismigiu Park. Hope you'll like them.

I've had 2 exams and a test this week, and I have one more exam next week, plus an evaluation something at a seminary, plus a project due next Friday we haven't even started yet (we're supposed to work in teams for that one). And I've also caught a very annoying cold with some nasty coughing to top that. I'm a bit better now, but I feel even more tired because of it. I probably should start taking some vitamins or something...
And then, of course, come the 2 weeks of finals, but that's probably going to be better, because we only have 4 exams, and no classes to go to, as opposed to now... I swear, the period before finals is always worse than the actual exam session!
My point is, I'm probably not going to be around much these days, so I'm sorry if I'm a bit slow with comments and if I don't upload anything new.

For those of you who aren't romanian, and probably don't know this, December 1st is Romania's National Day, and is therefore a vacation day for most people. And since this year it was on a Friday, I went with some of my new mates on a three-day trip to Sinaia. It was great and we had the chance to know each other better. And we went to Peles Castle, I really wanted to see it. It's very beautiful.
I went with a friend by car (I've got two of my old mates in my group now after the groups were remade according to our specialisation choices and the driver was one them ), and we went to Brasov as well before we came back home. The fun part about coming home was that most of the population in Bucharest decided that they should head for the mountains (and especially Prahova Valley) for these 3 days T_T. We made 60 kilometers in about 2 and a half hours... It was funny actually, cause it was already dark and because it was a sort of a meandering road through the mountains, if you looked down on it the cars resembled a string of lights from a Christmass tree... And endless string really... It's one of those moments when you're going so slow, that if you started going slower you'd go backwards... Anyway... As a whole it was great. And we had fun in the car, cause we were tired and bored and we started to go on about all sorts of nonsense

College started over a month ago (October 1st), we've chosen our specialisations this year, I'm in tourism and I have a new group (in Romania students are put in groups (about 25 students) and series (3, 4, or 5 groups); for the first two years we studied more general stuff and in third year we split into specialisations, meaning the groups and the series were remade according to our choices). And I liked my group... This one's not that bad either, though... I suppose it could have been much worse.

As those of you I have on my watch list might have noticed, I'm a bit slow on comments these days, and I end up keeping deviations for days in my inbox because of that. I will comment on most of them, though, when I have the time. I have 2 tests next week, plus a monography, plus a bigger project the week after. And, of course, the day to day suff like reading and homework... Again, I suppose it could be worse. I don't have so many classes like others (i.e. my friends in architecture).

About my own works, I've almost finished the digital drawing, and I have some traditional drawings to upload as well. I hope you'll like them.

The trip was wonderful, I visited a lot of cool places, the Merry Cemetery of Sapanta being one of them. It was really funny, there were a lot of foreign tourists (probably more than romanian ones) and I think it's a pity they didn't understand the poems on the tombstones. I don't know if there are translation (I think there was a book, I'm not sure), but even so, a lot of the humor of the poems is lost with translation, especially since they're written in the northern transylvanian dialect. Ah, well, it's still a nice place to visit. Never thought I'd say that about a cemetery, but this one's quite unique. It's a pity they don't change the old hag selling tickets at the entry, she's such a fraud... Only after money... I hate this kind of people. Plus she isn't helpful at all when tourists ask her something. There was a french lady trying to ask her about a particular tomb she saw souvenirs of, and because the old witch didn't know anything but romanian, I asked her about it. She told me with a bored face that I should tell the french lady to go and look for it herself. I mean honestly... Plus she tried to make us give the entrance tickets back so she could re-sell them. And tried to sell me a souvenir at about 1,50$ more expensive thand the souvenirs shops sold it. The nerve...

Other than that, the Merry Cemetery it's really an interesting place to see. Just keep in mind to buy souvenirs from the souvenirs shops if you ever go there

Well, enough of my ramblings... I have to go collect my dog from my grandparents, he stayed there while I was away cause my mom is at work till 5 p.m. and there was no one to take him out at noon.

to get to the point, the good news is that i had my last final yesterday, which means now i'm officialy on vacation! i still have to find out my marketing exam score (i had that one tuesday, yesterday i had management and i took maximum score at it ). so school is finaly over, i can't believe i'm actually a third year now, time seems to fly too fast all of a sudden...

the bad news is, i'm going on vacation out of bucharest for 2 weeks, and unfortunately i won't have acces to internet (or a computer) there. i hope i'll be able to check all the deviations in my message box when i come home, but considering how it looks now... sorry if i didn't comment on recent devs, but i really didn't have the time to do that. i'll try to go trough them when i get home.

on the other hand, i'm happy i'm going away, cause i really needed a break.

I've had a week of vacation (it passed much too fast unfortunately) and I finaly had the time to relax a bit I started school again yesterday... Anyway, on Monday I went to Sighisoara, which is known as the most beautiful medieval citadel (or fortress) still lived in Europe and also the birth place of Vlad the Impaler. I went there on a one day trip with some friends, including and , they will probably upload a lot of photos in the next days (I don't have a camera... damn...). Actualy, 's last ID is a pic she took there in which you can see her reflection in my sunglasses And to explain the title of the journal, we started quoting cartoons and I ended up repeating 'call me thquid' (Ice Age: The Meltdown). Well, we had fun and I wish we stayed longer, but you can't have everything...

Ok... Let's see...

1. I'm always paranoid about forgeting something when I leave home, especially if it's a longer trip. I've driven my friends mad last summer when we went to my family's vacation house because I was constantly checking that I had the keys (I was looking at them at least 3 times per hour on the road there just to be sure).

2. I like playing basketball even though I'm short (1,59m) , I always play with the boys in gym class (especially now that I'm in college because our prof doesn't have basketball for girls in her schedule, weird, I know).

3. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I allways like having high grades and doing everything properly and I would work to exhaustion to make a proper paper/essay if it's important, especially if I like the subject.

4. In total contradiction with the last point, I'm a lazy person and I usually leave things almost to the last moment (that's how I get to the exhaustion phase, lol).

5. I talk a lot. My friend nick-named me something along the lines "little thingy with a big, loud mouth". My mum is usually Heaven-happy when I get a cold and I can't speak because she'll "finaly have some peace and quiet". I, of course, don't think I really talk all that much. They're all a bunch of meanies...

6. I believe there is no one in this world who doesn't have at least a little bit of madness in them.

In addition to changing the categories of my fanart to the new subcategories, I've decided to do some more changes.
I've recently read in a journal of one of the people I watch about a deviant who stole some of their artwork, along with other deviants' artworks, and submited it as their own. I don't really think anyone would steal my pics, but just to be on the safe side I'm going to edit my best works by adding a digital signature and making my hand signature more visible.

School started again, unfortunately... And I'm going to be busier than last semester cause I have more classes and more projects to do. But I'll still be here

I reorganised most of my gallery, what with the new sections in fanart, which is really a good idea, though I can't help pity the poor souls who have hundreds of deviations to move. I've also put some of my older deviations in scraps, they look like they belong there better than in my gallery. I guess I've improved a bit. Practice, practice, practice lol... Sometimes I wish I would have went to an art college... But then again, I hate doing things on command, and it would have been really stressing. So I'll stick to drawing as a hobby

And only 4 weeks in total instead of 6, wich means less time between the exams. Plus the fact that each term has only 7 weeks and we have to finish the whole material in half the time wich means more hours and annoyed teachers with very crowded schedule. And the change of our time-tables at the beginning of each of the 4 terms.
Ughh... I wish I could go to sleep right now and wake up on the 25'th. I hate this...
