So these days I'm an engineer. I got through two years of engineering schooling (my first degree was in piano, this is the second) and was hired on as an intern in an aerospace materials company, then they liked me so much they turned me into a project/mechanical engineer. Though I'm enjoying my classes this semester quite a lot, in fact, tonight I get to sit on my roof and chart the stars, which isn't a bad way of occupying one's time. I'm trying to squish as much hw into this week as I can because on Friday I'm going to Germany. So school started this week and I'm already less draw-ey, which makes me sad, but it is balanced by the happiness of taking two physics courses (one general, one astro) and more calculus. Hopefully I can get my life together and get all my homework done, plus find time to draw a lot.

Recently Ron hosted a British fellow for lunch who was in for business, who couldn't stop shoveling it in. Tex-mex is truly that good/murderous.

It's been a good year so far, though it's only half over. I don't see it going downhill, though, because stuff. Anyway, it's been interesting drawing the Lint characters again in Lintier. I draw them differently than I did when I stopped Lint, and I didn't realize how much my art evolved while I drew Pygmalion in Space. I thought at best Pygmalion in Space was a sort of treading-water exercise, although I gained some not-previously-realized insights due to the content, but it seems evolution occurs whether we are aware of it or not.
