It's the story of an Iranian girl growing up, and trying to be just an average kid, during the Islamic revolution. Now, what I first thought was "ugh history. boring." but the movie draws you in right from the start. It was happy and sad, funny and not. I really liked it. And it's animated, nothing too complicated, a good portion of the movie is black and white, but it works really well. I highly recommend it.

I re-watched Pan's Labyrinth last night with a friend of mine who hadn't seen it before. That is such a great movie! Anyone see any other great movies lately? I'd like to hear about them!!!

I went for a nice run today in the, like, 100 degree weather outside. I mean, it's really windy out, but UGH. I'm not a big summer fan... At least not when it's THAT hot...

I broke my foot. It's not a bad break, like, I don't have a hard cast, just a plastic/air cast. I think it needs stickers or something... No running for a while *sob* as I can hardly walk on it straight without it hurting. Ah well... what can you do?
