Still working on the angel, it's coming along slowely: [link] I'm very occupied with my new study, trying to maintain the contacts in my hometown and go there once in a while. Also i have to try to upload the ~pyong-fanclub once in a while, because that's something i tend to forget when i'm this busy But i'm happy, i like it being busy, because it's all positive things that keep me occupied! Been busy with a comic for goldfishfactory ([link]) too, it's been published and i'm in it yay ^^ I've made four yonkoma's about ichigo mashimaro, also known as strawberry marshmellow. I really fell in love with my study, i have really cool teachers and classmates, and i have made alot of friends Next week i'm going to snowboard with Sophie, and i have a party from my studyclub (if that's a proper way to name it ) So yeah, i'm busy but i'll try to keep on going with my drawing because that's what i enjoy the most: a finished drawing

New room and new friends
I'm really happy in my new room, my roommates are so nice! I went to the movies with my girly roommates, we had so much fun! We went to "Step up". The movie has a slow start in the beginning but halfway it'll get better ^^ It had some great dancing scenes It makes me want to start ballet classes again! But for now i subscrided at the sportscenter of the university and i'm following classes of POLEFITNESS(?!). Yes you read it correct, polefitness that is It's alot of fun, it's actually poledancing/gogo dancing but whatever haha I don't care, as long as it's fun (i didn't plan to make my carreer out of it so why not?) I'm sore and brused all over, but it was worth it! I met a really kind girl in my class, it makes the class even more fun!

Next week my courses at the university are going to start. I'm sorta having mixed feelings about them because i'm not quite sure what to expect It's a good thing that i have met great people that follow the same study, it makes it alot easier to go there! I think that i'm very lucky, because when i came here i didn't know anybody, but i already have made a few new friends ^^ I'm glad because they make me feel at home here, and until now i haven't felt lonely at all!

Back to home
I have to go back a few weekends to my home too because i failed my driving exams It sucks big time, because i thought that i did pretty well and i thought that i passed! But the women that had to judge had her doubts, so she let me fail! And she didn't have to interfere at all! It makes me angry, but what can i do about it? I'll just try again and make it that time! It sorta sucks that i have to go all the way back to my town again, because the exams can only be held at mondays till wednesdays. This means that i have to skip a day of classes, and you have to be present for a certain amount of classes. So this way i can't miss more classes.. But i'll see how to fix that later, i can drive myself crazy so it's better that i don't

Yatta! I managed to get a room in Leiden! It's really exciting for me because i was used to be alone with my mom, and now i have to share with 7 other peeps But i'm really looking forward to it, the people i get to live with are really kind ^^ And they made up clear rules, and they share alot I guess that's a good thing, i can only become a better person of this experience! I'm really honored too that i got the room, because 19 people applied for it! I'm so lucky lucky lucky lalala! *sings*

Animecon
A couple of weeks ago i went to the animecon, and i just realised that i didn't write anything about it in my journal I was there with , , , jorn and mandy I knew Anneke and Jorn already, but i had never met Tare, Nili and Mandy before! I was so excited to finally meet them after all those hours on msn

At first i felt a little bit uncomfortable, but once we where settled at the hotel we really got along well ^^ Tare, Nili and Mandy are really kind persons I really enjoyed the con with all of them The dealerroom was a little bit dissapointing, but nevertheless i bought some cool stuff! I participated in the Dance Dance Revolution contest together with Tare, and we lost T_T We lost from noobs, it was really bad But hey, we had fun ^^ I also met alot of people from the aniway forum [link] People as Léon, Nat-chan, Toni, and (and many more ) The cosplaycontest was really funny, and i really enjoyed the gameroom I fell in love with a game with cute drums Conclusion: I really enjoyed it

i'm now working on a new devID, it's been a while since i drew myself in mangastyle due to upcoming testweek it will take a while before it's finished, but i can say that it's almost finished so i'm also really urging myself to finish it. i sorta look like a ninja, i wear a suit that's similair to a battle costume, turned out pretty cool! still have to think of a bg though (that's always my biggest problem!)

it happened like this; we saw a sign next to the road that said warning chance of trafficjam ahead so we decreased speed, we drove between 100-80 km per hour. then we saw two cars that bumped into each other next to the road, nothing severe, they where talking and waiting for the police i guess. then suddenly the car in front of us stepped on his brake and stopped, so we tried to avoid him and tried to pass him on the left side. it was so sudden and quite a curve that we made, then we drove to the right side and started spinning all of the sudden. so we were making circles, i didn't know which way we where going, and during the spinning we bumped into another car on my mothers side. i saw the glass of the front window coming out, and then coming into the car in a thousand pieces, i thought i was gonna die 0.0 i screamed like crazy! all of the sudden we stood next to the road, the nose of the car pointing to the road and i jumped out of the car and broke down.. i started crying hystirical!

i honostly thought this was it, i'm so glad to be alive! then i saw the car, my mother came climbing out at my side of the car since the door at her side couldn't open. the whole frontside was broken, especially on the left. the right wheel came off, the roof was wrinkled together, the car was a little bit shorter o.o and the whole front window was out, there was glass everywhere. i had alot of glass in my shoes and then i checked my mom, her whole hand was bleeding! i was scared to death that it was something severe, luckely it was only glass from the window that caused a thousand of scratches on her hand. and she had some blood from her ear, but that was also caused by glass. soon after i grabbed all our stuff out of the car and started calling people to pick us up. the ambulance was at the scene soon after, and i urged the nurses to help my mom i was so worried for her, she was all in shock and stuff! >.> i also called a friend of mine because i couldn't go to my ballet performance anymore, and we where all in tears! i was so scared, i never had a car accident, and all of a sudden it happened! there where like 5 cars involved, it was a really scary event, but i got out of it save! i still have no clue how it all happened. the only damage are some scratches and bruses, and alot of tensed mussles! that's because of the moment, you cramp together. my back hurts alot, but my neck is ok. my mom has pain in her arm because she tried to manouvre us next to the road. thanks to her, and our new car, we're alive. thanks for renault megane! it's the savest model because it has side airbags too. if it wasn't for my belt and the airbags, i could've been dead. i thank god on my knees for being alive!

this is the entry that suppossed to appear in the last journal, but DA wouldn't show it so i'm uploading it again.

gaah this is not good stuff, a guy that lived in the same city commited suicide. he was just 20 and was leaving the house to study somewhere else i didn't know him (i won't call his name out of respect for his family) but he was the neighbour of a friend of mine. i feel so sad for her, she doesn't show it, but she's really suffering. she doesn't know how to handle it and she sleeps really bad. i don't know what to say to her to comfor her.. everything feels too inappropriate to say, i don't know what to tell her to make her feel better. argh it's not nice, this is the 2nd suicide that has happened in 1 year and it's really nearby.

a few weeks ago a boy of 14 years was hit by a truck and died instantly. there lay flowers near the point where he died, this is really heavy stuff. also last week, i helped a costumer at the candy shop where i work, he made a big order a few days earlier. he was really kind and seemed very happy and healty, next day he died. he just died 0.o it's so weird, come to think of it i may have been one of the last people who saw him. (he didn't die of the candy though, that was a gift for somebody else)

and a few months ago a girl around her twenties was murdered, she was on the same forum that i was on and she had a passion for manga too. she was really normal and nice to people, i wonder why she was murdered.

my point is, it's so weird that all these things happened so close together! i never had to do that much with death, i never got confronted with it. but this all is right in my face, i always bike to school and i pass the place where the 14 year old boy died often, it could be me that was hit. this is really in my face, i don't suffer from it though, it just made me think really good. live is precious, treasure it. a sentence that i often hear but never took that serious, these things force me to take this sentence serious. i already enjoy the thing i do, but i try to be more concious of it now

~po-po-tan http://po-po-tan.deviantart.com/journal/6807060/ http://po-po-tan.deviantart.com/journal/6807060/ Wed, 19 Oct 2005 08:27:18 PDT i didn't know him (i won't call his name out of respect for his family) but he was the neighbour of a friend of mine. i feel so sad for her, she doesn't show it, but she's really suffering. she doesn't know how to handle it and she sleeps really bad. i don't know what to say to her to comfor her.. everything feels too inappropriate to say, i don't know what to tell her to make her feel better. argh it's not nice, this is the 2nd suicide that has happened in 1 year and it's really nearby.

a few weeks ago a boy of 14 years was hit by a truck and died instantly. there lay flowers near the point where he died, this is really heavy stuff. also last week, i helped a costumer at the candy shop where i work, he made a big order a few days earlier. he was really kind and seemed very happy and healty, next day he died. he just died 0.o it's so weird, come to think of it i may have been one of the last people who saw him. (he didn't die of the candy though, that was a gift for somebody else)

and a few months ago a girl around her twenties was murdered, she was on the same forum that i was on and she had a passion for manga too. she was really normal and nice to people, i wonder why she was murdered.

my point is, it's so weird that all these things happened so close together! i never had to do that much with death, i never got confronted with it. but this all is right in my face, i always bike to school and i pass the place where the 14 year old boy died often, it could be me that was hit. this is really in my face, i don't suffer from it though, it just made me think really good. live is precious, treasure it. a sentence that i often hear but never took that serious, these things force me to take this sentence serious. i already enjoy the thing i do, but i try to be more concious of it now

this year i have exams too, so i gotta work hard because i have to close alot of subjects. gotta read tons of books (seriously it freaks me out 0.o) and i gotta do alot of presentations and essays and stuff. the teachers have stress for the exams already, but i try not to let them get me. i'll just try my best and do the work i have to do, don't look ahead and just get started! yosh! *is in an energetic mood*


currently drawing status: i'm working on two pics right now. one is made by , she sketched the pic (i paid her for a commission) and i'm lining it. sample: [link] ^^ and the other one i made by myself. the line-art is really turning out well [link] i'm happy with the results, i think it will be the best line-art i've ever made so far


and as for the weekend, i'm going to the club with a friend of mine. i'm looking forward to it because it's been a while since we've been out together ^^ i will also try to draw a little, but school is important too. it's hard to combine the two. i tend to draw all the time

me and my mom needed a break so we went to look for short holidays and we booked a little trip of four days to antwerpen (belgium) ^^ i'm looking forward to that, i can use a little break before i have to work two weeks almost non stop 0.o (the money is what keeps me motivated )

now something less cheerfull, and something that really upsets me. [artstealers] i've noticed that it's happening more often, i can't understand people who just shameless lie about the works and claim it as their own. this really upsets me, don't they understand the damage they create for the real artist? the real artist has put effort into the piece and sometimes doesn't even know somebody is claiming it to be his. can't artstealers just grow up and take responsibility for their acts? and the worst thing is it's really hard to catch them, if you ask them things they'll just reply lying to you without any shame. i'll just believe them anytime 0.o yes i know anyhow when i reconise one, i'll do my best to stop that person! i believe there was a club against artstealers, but i can't remember the name *thinks*


but enough with this, i just had to get it off my chest. now for some other stuff to come ^^ i'm currently drawing a chara for =shadowoflight01's contest. i'm drawing railet who looks like this: [link] ^^ i've almost finished the line-art also i'm working on some other pics i have lying around, doing a little bit coloring here and some lining there you know now that i have holidays i have much more spare time left! it's so relieving! i'm working alot too and i have also time left for my dear friends (curse you school, i think you've traumatised me!) and for the ones who're interested how the chinese state circus was: it was wonderful! really impressive! they did wonderfull dancing and also neat tricks juggling with hats (yeah that doesn't make any sense i know ) and twirling little plates on sticks, doing neat salto's and stuff! and this little kid who was like 9 years old did all sorts of tricks on one hand on this little stick! 0.o that was really impressive! i've had quite a laugh too about a guy with a "puppet" (yeah the puppet was actually a real person). at a point the puppet wouldn't move anymore not even when he was winded up, that guy just pulled a girl out of the audience and made her do sexy moves it was really funny, the puppet grabbed the girl and they started to tango. well he started to tango and the girl just followed, sort of the puppet reached for her ass all the time so the guy stepped in and removed his hand, taking the chance to whipe of the dust of her ass lol and than the puppet made this dance move where he smacked his hand onto the guys face yeah this sounds a bit messy, it's hard to e... ]]> ~po-po-tan http://po-po-tan.deviantart.com/journal/5834003/ http://po-po-tan.deviantart.com/journal/5834003/ Mon, 04 Jul 2005 07:52:17 PDT not going abroad for the holidays since i've already been to japan ^^ 20th of july i'm going to the chinese state circus in amsterdam carré this weekend i've been away with the sailing boat from a friend it was really fun, just with a bunch of friends i had a laugh with my best friend about two guys who where with us where really drunk, and since we where the only two awake on the boat they came to us they where really funny we were having fun already before they came, we laughed from 12 o'clock to 4 in the morning! and when we woke up we started laughing immediatly anyhow i had fun just doing nothing, laughing about silly and stupid stuff and i got tanned a little bit too *^-^* yay! my belly is really tanned now when i came home yesterday i finished the little comic (of 4 squares ) for the magazine ([link]) too, so that's finally finished (it will appear in their 21st issue, i'm not allowed to publish it here untill their 22nd issue has been published) i'm so relieved, now that's finished i have time for all the other works i have lying around so do you have holidayplans too? tell me i'm very curious! and if you don't have any, you should really go here: [link] it's a free rpg game thingy you only have to download it do your desktop. it's really addicting i can't quit playing!

yesterday i borrowed lord of the rings the extended dvd version (yay! ) from a friend and i cried buckets of tears! tears of happiness, sadness, i've cried them all. i'm awfull, i used a whole pack of tissues (that has also something to do with my cold) ah well, i enjoyed the movie ^^ it's really fascinating, that's for sure! and orlando bloom is at his best in that movie boy he's hot!

yay! my mom managed to get tickets for the chinese state circus! yay, i've only seen those on tv, now i can see a show for real! they also have a special theme it's about the writer anderson, he wrote these fairytailes and stuff i'm so excited, i can't wait to go! we're going to see the show on the 20th of july and sleep over in a hotel so that we can go shopping the next day yay my mom is the best!

i'd also like to thank everyone (while i'm busy typing anyways ) for the nice comments you all left on my clamp tribute collab with i really appreciate them all! also this drawing got alot of favs in no time! it is the most faved out of my whole gallery, thanks people after reading all the comments i came to the conclusion that the colors that i used for the dresses where to bright to be clamp colors, i didn't think of that when i choose them but overall everybody seemed to like them ^^

tomorrow, sunday the 29th is my birthday! tonight big party, going out to the club too because now (after 12 o'clock midnight) i can legally get in the alcatraz i love that club! i got in too when i was 16 but still, it's the thought that counts! now i can show my ID and say, hell yeah i'm 17

yesterday i went to a special shop where you buy in big (that's very rare here in holland) so i bought big trays with drinks, and lot's of candy i bought mini chocolate chip cookies, they're so cute! i bought way too much, but it's so much fun to buy that much! i can't help myself anyhow the weather now is great, it's very sunny and hot so i hope the weather will stay like this tonight and tomorrow. ^^ bye!

but i meanwhile i want to do so much! i'm overexcited about this pic: [link] made by funnyneko. she's so good! i can't wait to color this one, but i'm so busy! >.< everytime i have time i do a little piece of the pic, because i want it to turn out well and prepared with attention. she also paid much attention to the line-art so i really want this to turn out really great!

i also promised a friend of mine to do one of her line-art, and i want to finish it before june because she's gratuating this year ^^ i'm also gonna color this one [link] made by mopninja. her art is very cute

i have so many creative ideas, so i don't know what to do first! i gotta make a little comic too, i wanna send it to the aniway [link] and it has to be four blocks long. now to think of anything funny.. but i really wanna give it a try because all of the aniway crew have been so nice to me and deijiko, the one i have contact with about this comic, he was really enthousiastic about it. so maybe i have a chance of getting in! i'm getting crazy! i really want to do to much >.< but i'm bursting with ideas!
