Now I have TWO perfect grandkids!

My daughter and son-in-law have gifted my husband and me with the world's cutest grandson, JR! He is just as perfect as his older sister, Kissy. I can't wait to hold him and kiss him and stroke his fur the wrong way. I didn't get to be at this birth because it was just financially impossible, but we will make it up to him, hehe. I will have to upload some pics of those two because they are just THE cutest kids in the whole damn world.

By way, GO DEUTSCHLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being a grandparent rules! If I'd have known grandkids were this much fun I would have had them first

Let's see, since my last rant I have become a grandmother of the cutest little girl ever (no, this is not just typical grandmother stuff here, she is cuteness personified) Or at least the cutest since I had my daughter. Nah, I'm not biased one bit. My daughter is STILL my munchkin, even though she hates it when I call her that.

I have since moved to Arizona, in the Tucson area (actually in the sticks behind Tucson) but it's nice, the people are friendly and it reminds me a lot of Texas.

I am working as a bookkeeper for a man who owns his own nursery/landscaping business (which my friends will find hysterical, I'm sure) It's interesting, I am helping someone out and I get out of the house so it's all good.

My daugher pointed out to me that in my poem about my father I forgot to mention that he was a grandfather. Well, he was, and he was nuts about my daughter. He had pictures of her all over where he worked, and she was his little buddy. They used to do this thing where before she went to bed at night she would run in his room and squish into his chair with him and watch tv with him. He told me that I just wouldn't understand what grandkids do to you until you have your own. He was right.

My husband has officially been converted to the dark side. He's a cat person. How did that happen? Well. I went to Germany for five weeks this past summer and the stray who lived under the house we were renting had this cute little fluffy black kitten. (The key word here is 'under the house = outside) By the time I came back he was firmly esconced in the house and been named (Booger, which is very appropriate let me tell you) and hubby was hooked. As a matter of fact, the hussy outside had another litter before I could get her fixed and THOSE kittens went to Texas to live with my family (cat suckers, all of us) because there was NO WAY we were leaving them behind. Mommacat wasn't allowed to leave, the landlord wanted her to stay so we (read husband) gave up our deposit to get her fixed.

Anyway, we are now awaiting the birth of our new grandson and for my daughter and her family to move to Arizona with us. We have grandkids in Kansas and four more in Texas, but it would get a teensy bit crowded with everyone here, not to mention I think munchkin is the only one who will let me take her kids from her, lololol

Meaning I sell the stuff. Just in case anyone here is interested, I specialize in hard-to-find items like from other countries, etc. I also have a link on my site for eParties, which is cool because whoever signs up as the host gets discounted or free stuff and no in-home party. Everyone shops and orders online. How cool is that? Tupperware for the new millenium. I can't believe I just wrote that. You want to buy Tupperware...you know you do...made your mom mad recently? Buy her Tupperware. Make your girlfriend cry? Buy her Tupperware. You are getting very sleepy...you are overcome with the urge to visit my site and make a very large purchase of Tupperware products, thereby enabling me to finally RENEW MY DAMN DA SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Work is a drag at the moment

I just started a new job after five years of blissfuly being a kept woman. Our move to Washington entailed a huge salary cut for hubby so I have to work to help ends meet. Which also means that I had to quit school. That part really steams me. So, now that will have to be put off a couple more years. Hell, by the time I get my degree, it'll be time for me to retire!

Anyway. the job is at a plastics plant called Bunzl Extrusion. They make all kinds of stuff that for some reason noone else in the country has figured out how to make. Looking at the place, it seems to me that it's not that complex. It's interesting though and the people are nice. I'm the only chick on my shift so that helps keep the furflying to a a minimum because as a general rule, I don't play well with other women.

The part that sucks at the moment is I jumped right into 12 hour days, so my out-of-shape ass is dragging and in some serious pain by the end of the day. Luckily the way the schedule shakes out, we only have to work about 15 days a month, so I'll only be aching for the other 15...

I hope I get used to this soon, it sucks being sore and tired on your days off. Ah well, it'll get better.

I do enjoy having days in the middle of the week off when the rest of the poor schleps are at work, it feels like I'm getting away with something naughty...

This really wasn't supposed to be a life-affirming statement, I just wanted to vent for a while. Coming up: I can't stand anime. Period. I respect your right to create/love it, but it makes me nauseated and hostile.
