I've kept my influences from my angsty teenagedome, but soon I will turn the big 2-0 and will have to turn my back on some of my childish, (not to mention CLICHE {{as fuck}}) tendencies with my artwork. I've developed a less rigid style but since I'm a big girl now and have to work and go to college and whatnot I no longer have so much time for things like this.

Today I went to What's On 2nd?, a consignment shop in downtown Birmingham, where I work. I spent hours and hours there, I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

When I went to check out, the lady asked me if I was into art. (How could she possibly know; what with my multi-colored, weirdly cut hair, pretentious, black, thick-framed glasses, and madarin-collared sweater)?
But I digress. She said they had openings for handmade consignments and were looking for people with "quirky style". I gave her my contact info and plan to bring her some pieces on Tuesday when I get off work.

I don't plan to make much money but I am excited at the prospect of selling my art. I've seen some of the stuff they have in there already, (though it doesn't say much that it hasn't sold), and I know I could do much better, if I do say so myself.

Opinions, experiences? Much appreciated.

Oh, I dumped Trey a month ago. Stupid little me fell for the artistic long-haired hippie type, he fed me all these cheezy romantic lines just to get in my pants and then fucking ripped my heart out when he told me New Years day that he's back with his ex. He was all just a dream that ended in a very sad nightmare. I feel so stupid and used.

Now I'm back at Trey's, but not quite back with Trey. He's "talking" to someone else, actually and I have two choices: Date Trey again and move back in and continue to depend on him for everything, or stay at my parent's house and be truly on my own. I'll have to find a car, probably get a better paying job so I can save up for my own place. If Trey starts dating someone else I won't be able to hang around his house all the time. I'd be stuck at my parent's place with no car.

I really liked Byrd. I really trusted him. He's a very, very good liar...

I want to hurry up and move to the city where I can get any drug I want, (LSD!), and pursue my passion to trip into unlocking every unconscious door in my head. I want to really explore Wonderland, be a psychonaut. Of course if I always needed drugs to be creative, I would have no real talent then, would I? But chemicals do help creativity a helluva lot. New perspectives, an ethereal plane of existance that we get to glimpse every now and again with the help of entheogens.

Prolly isn't too obvious from my recent deviations, but I've been smoking a whole lot of the mary jane of late. Pot has been a huge influence on any deviations from Nov. 06 - present. I have recently been deviating more toward (attempts) at the style of ~bj666 and (attempts) at more psychedelia.

I am looking at art schools in Georgia, New York and San Francisco. I think I'm gonna go to school with my friend and smoking buddy, Fallyo. I'm not sure yet, but I need to build up more of a portfolio. I just haven't had much motivation to do much lately, especially with sewing! Ah well, hopefully my gallery will be filled with new deviations soon...

I decided I might as well order a month subscription to DA since it's kinda cheap and I've been wanting to see what it's like. Seems pretty cool... (I also ordered an T_ID=37&_ID=102"annodised pipe with two mouthpieces for me and Benny + a joint holder and a blunt holder from weedcity.com... lol).

I don't like to post on my DA journal about life shit, that's on my MySpace blog if anyone happens to actually be interested, but I just have to mention that Benny is just about to get off work and come see me because this is the last time I'll get to see him for like FOUR WHOLE FUCKING DAYS! He's visiting his family in Tennessee for Christmas. He's leaving around 1p.m. today, be in TN tonight, be back in time for work Tuesday. That's a long time to not be able to see my Benny.. *sighs* I need to get ready...

That does fuckin suck, Amanda. I know it's kinda my fault in a way, too...maybe in a BIG way. I should've been more careful around Fran and not let her see me there..or maybe just shouldn't have come there at all..or atleast not as much. This just really really sucks. Atleast you still have a place to go, though. And now it's an excuse to get rid of John, since you all seemed to be getting sick of him. And since you'll be moving into an apartment, lots of chances to meet new people, maybe? Lots of neighbors when you live in an apartment. Sandi said she already knows someone there named Damien. Probably told you already. The main loss I think is that kick ass pool. x_x Just sucks. Oh and sorry..like I said I know it's atleast partially my fault.

And it is partically your fault. The reason that Sandy and John evicted in the first place was because Sandy kept bringing you an Kirk over, and John... well, he's convicted of doing drugs. There was a pipe found in the backyard, and Fran said it was John's... but I know it was yours. The drugs and the fact you kept coming over. It is your fault. But I'm not mad at you... I didn't want to live in this house after Katie left anyway. The person who I am pissed at the most right ow is Katie herself, because she talked Heather and Chris to stay here, and me and Sandy, and John thought if all five of us lived here, we'd be able to pay the bills and still have this nice big house. But I guess it was mroe trouble that it was worth... Heather, Sandy, and me will be happier in whichever apartment we're able to stay in anyway.

I'm depressed as fuck right now. I wish Sandy was here so I could talk to her instead of wherever she is at right now (probably you're house, because of her car being dead or whatever). Like I said, I'm not mad at you or anything. Right now, I'm just getting my frustrations out. I wish life was easier than it is right now.

Oh crap. Yeah I wasn't sure if Fran saw that or not. I know John did. Me and Sandi had been smoking at my house that night and we came over there. I tried to get it but I saw Fran outside so I decided to get it later. I know I shouldn't have even brought it over in the first place.

I feel so guilty about all this shit. Well I should feel bad. I fucked everything up for everyone. Sandi's saying it's her fault for agreeing to let me come over in the first place, but it's my fault. I'm so sick of this. Every time I try to be friends with people I end up fucking things up for them with the stupid shit that I do.

Well anyways I'm glad that you say you'll atleast be happier in the apartment. And Sandi told me that I can't come over every day like I did at the house - I'll really try to respect that. I'm getting a job soon anyways, hopefully, so I won't be able to even if I wanted to. I understand that you and Heather want to spend time with Sandi without having other people at your house all the time. I'm just reeeeally sorry about all of this.
