So I got off my lazy arse and actually took time to make my own icon-thingy. Naturally dA doesn't want to upload it at the moment.

And since I found a new Vector Art program-thingy, I'm gonna finish up with my "I'm figuring out how to work this damn program" picture before I invest serious time into that. (And by serious, I do mean more than 3 hours a day... because that all the time I can stand working problems out like "how do I flatten all these layers!? T_T " and whatnot.

Furthermore, as y'all can see, I've been a busy-body with jewlery. Although I have this nasty habbit of not wanting to get rid of things I make, me mum has enlisted me in making/designing necklaces for her to sell. Besides the pictures obligitorally showing up here, if you're on e-bay one day and see my new icon in the description; rest assured, I made it. I suppose I could do commissions here, but I did that before (not here, but in general) and lost all interest in doing anything of it. Plus if I keep spending all my spare money for just beads and materials for making beads (Sigh; yes... and no.) for ONE necklace, I don't think I could afford to take more than two commissions at a time before starving and homelessness... Anywho...

As much as I love renders, I have very little ability in actually manipulating said renders. So while I like what I put up, I can only take credit for finding it; not really making it. I know, bad me. So if I continue anything with renders, it'll be once I feel I can do something besides, "Let's see what happens if I pull this line this way..."

As for hand-drawn stuffs; I suppose a low self-esteem is to blame for me destroying most everything I draw. And when people say "But it's better than what I can do," I turn around and say "Well it's still crap." ... Which is horrably evil now that I think about it; but it's how I feel. So I'll put drawings up when my other steals my works, hacks my account, and uploads them without my prior concent.

Meanwhile I wait for a vacation. Managering this place of work o' mine is killin' meh!

Prism

Alrighty: School, work, sleep, boyfriend, lack of PS, and about 300 conceptual things I need to sift through. And I, to put it bluntly, suck at using the computer for artwork, so, knowing my luck, I'll probably end up with some unobtainable concept that I'll love, then hate myself because it could never be any better than a concept. Poop. But having someone constantly prodding me to continue means this has a chance of actually developing, though. I know, I'm a horrible deviant, but I guess that's why I'm a shadow deviant. Fits me to a T.

I remember why I don't fancy digital art as much as I... well... never did. I can't look through scraps until I find what I was originally looking for. No, I get other scraps and am like "Oh! That's SO much cooler!" Then I use it, then change around everything to fit that one little thing, end up trashing everything else up to that point, just to find something else and restart the whole thing again. So, I'm going back to my safe haven of pencil and paper. Not to mention I tried something random the other day and ended up with something I was surprisingly happy with. So I'm gonna do something non-doodle-y and hopefully have it cleaned up by some point in time. I'm gonna stop saying what I'm planning on doing, if for no other reason than I just suck at life.

So every time I log on, like everyone else, I get to see a bunch of pretty pictures... and end up most of them. I know, I'm pathetic. In any event, I don't fave what I don't like, and I'm sure certian deviants are getting sick of me clicking that little button on their work (and the kicker is I'm not subscribed to them!) :3

Anyways, my home internet is still on the fritz, so I can't keep online long enough to upload anything. :[ When the internet is working again, something will be put up. I swear!

So, my home internet died, so blah. I'm working on doing something I haven't seen on dA yet, maybe it'll work. It probably won't, but another factor is that I lost my photoshop and have to get used to the not-so-user-friendly GIMP 2.0. (But I must say it is easier to do some things in GIMP than in photoshop, but that's besides the point.) In any event, the sets will be comming along even slower since school + work requires me to be awake from 5 in the morning, till 11 at night. Good times. So I'll be doing what I can and as I get to it. Since the I've-not-yet-seen factor intriques me more than the I-just-wanna-do-a-set-that's-been-done-a-million-times, I'm gonna go with the new thing. Depending on time and technilogical cooperation, it should be up in the week, but in all likelyhood, expect it later, but expect it to also be the next thing I put up. Should be interesting at the least, even if it turns out to be complete crap.

Meanwhile, I've got a completly ignornace-inspired question: How the hell do you make those little emoticon-thingies appear in comments and blogs and whatnot? Obviously I'm just that slow that I can't figure it out. :'[

[Yu]

PS- They really need an "inept" emoticon. I would use it! ... Often...

Alrighty, I've been playing with some rendering programs lately and I'll slowly but surely post 'em up as I think about them. Work is killing my time to do things that are of the pencil/paper medium. And since I've had no time, no photography time. In any event, expect more rendered art in the near future.

Ah, christmas. The time of eternal damnation... if you work retail... like me... Anywho, I was blessed with a new computer for all my fancy computer needs and I'm busy transfering all of my programs one at a time as I remember that I need them. The infamous Photoshop should be up soon, so then I can put to use some photos I've taken.
And the set is still comming, I'm just not having time among the work to do anything progressive. :-/
Yeah, it's hard to see that I always draw ... *crickets at the emptyness of the profile* So I have some concept things on paper (about three sets I plan on doing) and I'll be getting that stuff up as it comes. Of cource, I'm gonna be OC and not upload anything till the sets are complete. So I'll go ahead with the smaller of the three (Hint: It's gonna be a set of six. ;] ) and get that up ASAPP (as soon as procranstonatly possable).
