No, I'm not depressed and I'm not down, lifes going along just as usual as ever. What it meant was this: My DA page is dead. I've stopped updating it. I havn't done any art in a long time and I don't see myself doing any in the future. The Muse has left me probobly for good.

I'm happy for your efforts for my sake but there's really nothing to concern yourselfs with. I'm glad that some of you found some enjoyment in my art as I enjoyed showing it to you all, and I hope you all keep enjoying whatever it is that you do.

Trying to make a journal entry that isn't depressing for once (bº¬º)b!
seems liek the only time i ever feel like updating is when something sad happens... by the way most of my journals look i must seem like im some kind of overly-depressed emo child with a graveyard tan XD. when in reality my life is so boring the only thing worth noting in a journal are the crappy parts, lol.

So here goes!

Had a birthday! never really liked most of my birthdays, never had too many fond memories for most of them lol. but this one was jsut how i liked it. got some nice not overly extravagant gifts (just how i like-em), and took the day to hang out with friends and be jolly and all that rot.
I still <3 my job delivering pizza. good money! this winter im gonna look for something more in the line of an actual career path tho
In three weeks i go on vacation in maine! huzaa! god i love my cabin by the lake...
Guess i should mention art. . . well there i mentioned it.
ok ok . i have a digital camera now, i guess if im too lazy to draw things i can take perdy pictures for everyone. i wont abandon drawing tho, if the mood strikes me.
Saw the new pirates movie! 'twas openin night (12:01 is technically morning i guess =X ), jam packed full of other noisy fanboys and fangirls. good movie! just wish i wasnt sitting front row where you have to turn your head to see the whole screen lol. the ending made me wanna take drugs tho haha.

Other than that.... same old same old i suppose. that and im despirately trying to prove that, dispite what the majority of my journals read as, im not an emotionally shattered human being XD.

Oh yeah before i forget....I'm also very curious as to the traffic i get every day here o_O. dispite the better part of my time on DA recently being mostly, a lack of, or total inactivity whatsoever, i still have a "steady" amount of viewers almost everyday o_o;. yeah ok its not a lot lol, but for the amount of time i have been pretty inactive, im surprised i have more than a few viewers a week anymore. if your an "active"(<--- by whatever definition you deem) viewer of my page lemme know! it'll make meh' happeh' .

Hey if Orchestra with chorus + a slight sound of techno sounds appealing to you then check out E.S. Posthumus. I've been listening to their stuff non-stop lately.

Anyhoo. I'm back kinda. I really have been trying to get into some drawings lately, but... *sigh*. Ever have a really nice concept in your head and you have it drawn out and what not but just can't get the composition together? Well I'm having that problem at the moment... The problem stems with my arch nemisis... backgrounds. To put it frankly, I f***ing SUCK at them. And what I have had in concept for quite some time now kinda requires one. Who knows maybe I'll go and mooch of some more talented artist and see if they can't help me.

Life is pretty much the same old. Still working at the pizzaria. I enjoy it there, especially when I'm known as the stores best deliverer and closer =3. And I defend that title with sweat & blood T_T *shakes fist*.
I turned 22 about a week and a half ago. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it though. I've never had great luck with very enjoyable birthdays, especially after last years. So it was really just a humble affair with a couple of close freinds at the movies, then going to Deny's or something boring like that.
Havn't been too active this summer which is a shame. I've kinda had the urge to go on hikes and whatnot but I don't really have anyone to go on them with (most of my friends aren't really the "walking and enjoying nature" type).
Pretty much the only thing I have left looking foreward to this summer is the annual family trip to Maine. That will be relaaaaaaaax-ing.

Also my prayers go out to all those who were affected by the bombings in London this week. As our closest allies and a nation that has always been there for us I extend my deepest sympathies to the families and loved ones who were affected by it. And I certainly hope those responsible will get whats coming to them.

Well I guess thats all I've got for now. I really miss getting that lovely "C" in my message center I'm trying as hard as I can to stay active. Try not to lose faith in the lazy one (º¬º).

Huge gap in things that have happened to me since I last updated my journal. In all fairness though I've been really busy >_>;.

Biggest news is..... I got out of that hellhole of a Community College! I am now a proud student of Oswego State University... I need a hoody. yes folks I survived all the forms and lack of response from either college and managed to squirm my way into the other mass of transfer students (which surprisingly were a lot more than I thought there would be).

Of course with heading off to school away from home, I had to quit my job. Which really sucks cuz I loved the poeple there... well most of them at least. I was very surprised to get a cake from my co-workers to wish me goodbye and goodluck. It was really touching and I was really honored in the thought that of all the people that have been in and out of that place, I was the only one to recieve a goodbye gift. Yes I may be stroking my ego by telling you all this but dammit I lack confidence you bastards . anyhoo I left on a good note and I promised I'd be back to visit them all .

duhhh what else..... Christmas went well... nothing very eventful.

Valentines blew. All my friends here either had a date and were doing something with them, or they spent all day pining over soemone they couldnt have.... so I was alone with nothing to do and no one to do it with <_<. Pfft, who needs love anyway -_-... *sigh* I miss having a Girlfriend....

Well other than that stuff which most, if any, people dont even care about. Art..........

after sending a bunch of applications, paperwork, about 200+ bucks worth of transfer applications and another 50 or more bucks worth of college transcripts and other costs, and spending days filling all these things out, I'm now getting letters back saying I havn't sent some of these things in! some of its no big deal but some of it is money!!! and not only that but now in the letters they are giving me checklists of all the things i still need to hand in... which were never even mentioned on the origonal applications! things like my high school transcript (dunno why i'd need that after being in a college for 2 and a half years), whatever a 'concentration sheet' is, my resume ......? and a typed essay on the past several years of my life!!! give me a break! and i have to do like 5 sets of these ;_;!!! as if my time table wasn't bogged down already!

arg and its not like i have weeks and weeks to do this. gah i just wanna rip my hair out this is so frustrating!!!

in keeping things short i guess, school and work have kicked my ass up a notch. as busy and time consumed as i was before, im even busier now. people have been quitting work due to winter coming on, and i have a ****load more homework to do than before. i used to be able to come home, get all my stuff done then watch tv or play a video gamefor an hour or so before bed, but im jsut too damned tired anymore to stay up late enough.

oo, hopefully this semester is that last tiem i have to attend this sh*tty community college. i sent a whole bunch of applications out as well as my transcripts and 40 bucks for each one (yikes >_< ) and hopefully ill have a new happy learning experience with an actual social life by the winter semester!!! seriously, you people that havnt gone to college yet.... dont go to a community one. you'll be lucky to meet one person that you'll stay friends with after the year is over. ~pseudowulf http://pseudowulf.deviantart.com/journal/3614758/ http://pseudowulf.deviantart.com/journal/3614758/ Sun, 17 Oct 2004 21:47:00 PDT had to buy new brakes for my car on thursday cuz they were making a metel-grinding-metel noise. so i had to cancel work that day. borrowed my sisters car for work on friday but the fan belt makes a horrible screaching noise. get my car back saturday, but im an hour late for work that night cuz i checked the wrong name under the schedule (damn boss and his crappy handwriting). then later that night, the same day i get my car back, the engine dies while im out on a delivery. so i have to sit in my freezing cold car [no heat] and wait for my boss to show up and finish the dilevery, then i have to get it towed back to my place by my father and his truck.

good lord do you know what its like to be strung 5 feet behind a giant truck with no lights, heat, or power steering and brakes? my knuckles were so white.

but on the plus side, one of my managers told me that she suggested to my boss that i get a raise cuz im "one of the hardest workers there" and "a good kid" . hope making my boss cover my delivery and being late for the first time ever, 2 days after she suggested it, dosnt affect anything >_<.

guh.....now i have no car. which is really bad cuz i commute to college, and my whole job revolves around me being able to drive all over the place. hopefully it can get repaired and for not too much money. otherwise a new car is in order...

Bah, this is for the sake of a new journal entry... and also to state that, i am in fact, not dead. with that said, on to the journal!

uhhh lets see. made a bunch of friends at the pizzaria i work at. my boss kurt if fuggin awesome. its a big group of friends that work there and they are always inviting me over after work to play drunken monopoly or hang and get drunk with them, or plain ol' hey lets go have a drink at my house after work. i was even asked if i wanted to go to the "titty bar" with them after work one day lol... not really my thing so i kindly put the offer down . eh, i'm not big into drinking or getting drunk, but they are a really cool group of guys'n'gals so i may just take them up on one of their offers soon.

oo! and i am very proud of my very first honorary pizza delivery boy [*ahem* man] dog bite! right on the leg by this wirey little terrier. i wear it like a badge of honor.

college is going pretty well i suppose. scored big time on my environmental science test.... wish i could say the same for my math one. god i thought my last math class was hard, that was nothing. but i'm devoting myself to some serious studying for math this semester which will hopefully pull me out of the crappy math funk.

ART!.. heh heh yeaaaaah...... lemme give you my schedule: monday- classes, tuesday- lots of classes and work til close, wednesday- classes, thursday- losts of classes and work til close, fridays- no classes! but i work from 7 in the morning to 6 in the afternoon.... saturday- work in the evening til close, and sunday- free but with lots of homework....... so as you can see, ANY free time i have is spent first doing homework, and then if i have the time, hanging out with friends so that i can keep up an actual social life. i've attempted some sketches and whatnot but havnt gotten too far. hope you guys can hold out for a bit longer XD. as always i have a bunch of ideas, it's just the process of getting them on paper thats killing me.

well once again something i intended to be small turned out longer than i wanted. screw editing I'm too good for that... now i'm off to college hunt and then to work.

Well folks, i think i need to finally admit it. i am pretty sure im suffering from depression . this has been quite a summer, one that i will never forget for better or worse. i just hope that going back to school will distract me from my depression like my job did in the beginning of the summer. ugh it's the only thing i hope for right now. i can't afford to be spending my money on a shrink and im not going to burden my parents with it either, nor do i want to worry them or any of my friends with the thought. not to mention this isn't soemthing i wanna go shouting out to everyone. . . im pretty sure id recieve less pity and more "he's pathetic" from people. im glad none of my friends really know about this journal otherwise i wouldnt be able to vent here like this. im just gonna have to deal with it on my own like i have been all summer -_-.

im not gonna get into my feelings and why im depressed and what i want and yadda yadda. im wouldnt be helping myself very much by doing so.

i will always take your kind words and encouragements to heart, and i know there are a few of you who would offer their time to talk to me over aim and whatnot, like you have in the past. She's acting fine and tough on the outside, but i know deep down that she must be really hurting . . .

I pray that whatever reason it happened was becuase the baby wasn't healthy, or just because maybe she wasn't ready to be a mother quite yet.

life is nothing but ups and downs. it never seems to stop and just level itself out. i feel like i keep getting set up with something great just to have it change or taken away. . . i want to fall asleep right now and wake up in a new life

ahhh but nothing is without a price. while im up there ill have to write 2 essays for english and hand them in the day after i get home. and work, well no work no money silly hobits's .

anhoo lets see uhhh Art, art.....art ............. well i havn't got any projects at the moment. i mean i do have old sketches, but i have pretty much lost interest in them. after you screw soemthing up for so long and can't find anyway to fix it you kind of lose hope. maybe one day i will put them into the scraps section i dunno. anyhoo, i really wanna do another naruto based drawing again. the last one was really fun. and if freakin Narutofanclub would respond to (or even read) the TWO notes i sent them, then they will change my village to missing-nin instead of konoha, and i can enter my drawing into the soon upcoming missing-nin contest.

anyhoo im sure theres soemthing else i wanted to say and i will remember it a half hour from now and wished i put it in here, but i need to get started on my english paper before it gets too late. maybe next post ill tell you how my archaeology class went .

as you can see i have some new art. i really like how it turned out. admittedly it dosnt have as much depth in it as id like but if i take as much time trying to make everything as detailed as i used to, (wouldn't quite say it was all that detailed to begin with) it will deter me from wanting to do anything at all .

hey guys jump on the bandwagon! make yourself into a character from naruto! if you dont know what naruto is, its an anime... WATCH IT!!! stop wasting your time reading this and watch! yeah it will prolly take you a while to see most of it... tomorrow airs episode 93 after all. but good god it is so worth it people. its funny, its exciting, theres at LEAST one charactor in it that anyone could relate to, and i admit... its the only cartoon to EVER make me tear up. . . well maybe lion king, but dammit mufasa was awesome.

-work is going really well.
-my social life.....
right now my social life consists of maybe hanging out with a couple of people one night for an hour or two once a week. trust me, its not cuz i don't want to or I'm too lazy to make an effort. but between keeping a steady flow of cash and keeping good grades, i have no time at all anymore . theres so much stuff i want to do too >_<. there's an air show this weekend with the blue angels, theres a renaissance fair not too far from here that i have been eager to go to, a whole bunch of movies i want to see, a movie i want to make with some friends on my new video camera... and i also cant go on my annual trip to maine with my family this year . i mean i knew when i signed up for summer classes around february i prolly wouldnt be able to go, but now that its coming closer to that time its really depressing... my whole family is gonna be in maine at our little cottage by the lake while im stuck here working and doing homework.

then theres all this other stuff going on... I really miss hanging out with my other group of friends but ever since that whole BDay party fiasco that everbody [including myself] handled horribly and made things 10x worse than it should be, i havnt been able to see any of them . it seems like every couple of days i find out they are going out somewhere or on some road trip or something fun and i sit there wishing i could be there with them too, instead of working the closing shift or doing homework . and then the frinds that i am still on good terms with i want to be able to keep in contact with and hang out... but i can't, and i feel like they are just getting mroe and more distant.

god i wish this summer would end. but then what?.... i get a week off and start school again and may have to keep working during it. i cant wait to get out of this social-blackhole of a college and transfer to someplace where i can actually meet people and have fun again >_<.

please dont feel the need to respond to this to make me feel better. the only reason i made this entry was to vent and release some thoughts. i dont want to feel like im asking for some kind of pity-trip or anything.... god my whole life is a pity-trip -_-.....

oh yeah and art is deffinately at at a horrible standstill atm so dont even bother looking thru my gallery, its still all the same old crap from before...

I'm sure a few poeple that know her only through me may be a little concerned or even shocked but ill tell you that being 1 of the few people that knows her really well, i think things are going to turn out just fine for her


Sarah is a great person, and i know first hand that she will make an amazing mother. yeah she'll only be 24 when the baby is born but I know her well enough to know that regaurdless of her age, she is a very mature and naturally maternal woman. Rob, you are strong, patient, charismatic, fun and a great provider. Sarah, your as tough as brass and twice as bright and you have always been there for me when I asked you to, and sometimes even when i didn't. I have absolute faith in you Sarah and Rob. you both love eachother very much and i think the two of you will make make wonderful parents.

I have to say this has to be one of the most uplifting things in my life in the past month. when it seemed like life just kept on getting worse a little miracle appears. I have to say im so incredibly excited to be an uncle. I'll make sure I help my her and my brother in law in any way i can during her pregnancy, theres no way im going to miss out on such an important part of her life.

I love ya Sarah, and heres to the first step in one of the most amazing moments in your life !

anyhoo. I'm almost positive i passed my math class and did really well on my final. i worked really hard this time around.... should've done it sooner but not much can be done about that now. not to mention my teacher was amazing and i made sure to shake his hand and tell him so before i left.

work at the pizzaria is going really well i love it there. the people are really nice, my boss is awesome, and im making good money doing it. deffinately 10x better than working at bruegger's freakin bagels. thank god for jobs like this to get me back on track. lol but i have to agree with my parents. it will do everyone a lot of good to work at at least one place they absolutely hated so you can appreciate your other jobs. I think my friend dylan needs one of those jobs.... he dosnt necciserily like working at the pizzaria and i just keep telling him to stick with it and that hes actually landed a really good job with some amazing people.

what else what else. well i am on an art site arent i... might as well talk about that a bit i guess . i have some WIP['s]... well one at least......well half of it. its 2 drawing put together; i have the one and i started the other but it looks like crap. so need to finish that when im not swamped with either work or hw. and yes i still have hw. i have to read a book before my next class starts on the 12th x_x. i also have some gift art that i have been planning to do for ages for a select few people whos art i admire. trust me id do more for more people but im so slow at this stuff id never get it done. nothing too big and spectacular, just stuff id like to give to some real talents out there.

i guess thats it for now... thanks a lot to you guys who have been such a great support to me thru this hard time in my life. its just that random unexpected kindness from others that i really appreciate the most in life. thanks a lot you guys

well aside from annoying dreams, last night i made $22 in tips dilivering pizzas . thats pretty good for me so far. and today i took my final math exam and hot damn i actually knew what i was doing most of the time ! there was one question im almost positive i got wrong, and one i know i got right but i solved it by guess and check only so ill prolly get half credit. but other than that the only things i should get minus points are for forgetting to carry over some negitive value or some small algebreic screw up.

so now i have a week off to relax and get rested up! well if you dont count work which i will be doing all weekend x_x. then starting the second week of july i start my anthropology field work class which sounds like its gonna be awesome ! my fam the said the other day that i should go to the first class dressed like indiana jones and hope that the professor has a sense of humor .

Well. . .

I have decided not to leave DA. altho that dosnt nessicerally mean I'll be posting a lot of art. . . I just don't seem to be in much of a mood lately.

If you havn't guessed already, my girlfriend Broke up wth me about a week ago [that is not your queue to go flame her]. It had to have been the single most painful thing that has ever happened to me. It really felt worse than losing a part of the family . I can't describe what its like to pour every last ounce of yourself into a relationship and it still wasn't enough to make it work. . .

But. . . I'm alive right? and I have my family, and some friends that havn't been claimed by the other half yet. I have lots of things going for me, and It's prolly gonna be one of the hardest readjustments I will ever have in my life, but I will live and become stronger. Right now I just hope I can still save a friendship or three. . . . . . .

well amidst all the trying to keep my mind off of things, I started a new drawing. It's prolly gonna have to be two seperate drawings, photoshopped together. which may be difficult.

I also seem to remember telling a bunch of talented artists that I would give them some gift art quite a while ago. I'll prolly try to get crackin at that as well.

anyways as for my summer classes. fisrt and foremost: math. . . . . i hate math. . . this isnt the first time ill be taking this class too x_x. . . way to make myself feel stupid :\. but at least i am getting a friend to tutor me which i think will help a lot. that class starts june 1st and goes for 5 or 6 weeks.

second summer semester: i will be taking an english requirement for about 5 or 6 weeks. but the class im excited about is an anthropology class that you actually get to go outside on an old farm and dig stuff up and look for any kind of "artifacts". . . heh, thats from 9 in the morning til 3 every weekday for 2 weeks. but fieldwork will be fun and something i could put on a resume ^_^.

fall semester!: all i have left after that are electives and one more math course so i get to take some fun classes. so i have biology and the human environment, a mysteries of the earth class, and a mythology class . . . oh yeah and math 165. but really the only things im not looking foreward to are the math classes, but im determined this year to light that fire under my butt and really put my nose to the grindstone.

ick sorry this is so long. i dont think theres a single person on DA who prolly cares about my classes, but i have a lot on my mind at the moment and i need to keep busy for a bit or ill sink into a depression like i have in the past .

I'm in a very bad artist block that im trying to crawl out of.

Longer version!:
Ugh. . . my art sucks royally lately. it seems like every time i get excited about drawing, i go and get all my pretty little pencils out all nice and sharpend, and then i get out my little nub of an eraser, all while i have this lovely picture in my head. . . then as soon as i look at that blank piece of paper its all just gone -_-. . . i usually force myself to try to at least sketch a little something out, but it never looks anywhere near what i origonally wanted it to. not to mention it resembles chicken scratch. . .

I wonder if im losing my edge, or maybe im just aiming too high. i guess all artists are perfectionists when it comes to thier own art but at the same time it shouldnt be this dabilatating.

Im also tired of doing the same mediocre drawings over and over again. theres nothing that seperates my art apart from anyone else. I need to broaden my spectrum a bit, but that requires starting new things which im totally clueless about, and that nasty perfectionism kicks in again. I've worked a long time to get myself into the nitch of art im currently in, but now im stuck it seems x_x.

I feel like I have to go backwards to get better, which is a hard to force myself to do cuz I dont want to post any art that is anything less than what I already have in my gallery.

ugh. well I do have some finished drawings that need to be colored so at least I have those to keep me busy. especially the one that I have owed Kata for like. . .ever.

[Extended version]:I think whenever a set of twins are born, one of them should be sacrificed to apease the angry diety that put thier poor mother through the process of shoving two watermellons through a hole the size of her nostril.but which to kill? obviously not the good twin. . . I say we go by the asian method, the last one to come out of the womb is considered more honorable because s/he was kind enough to let the other one out first. . .

with that said. . . . im gonna kill my twin brother!!!

well as i was visiting my beloved Kata for the weekend. . . for some reason he dicided that he needed to touch my computer without my permssion. . . now i admit this computer is very touchy. . . and if ya handle her the wrong way she'l bite. . . but for some reason he dicide he wants to download MSN messenger on it. and tell me, maybe i was too vague when i said it, were my ominous instructions of, "Do Not download anything on my computer" bit confusing? well appaerntly it was! now im recieveing IM's from his wierd friends over the internet and my computer tells me i have unread mail from his hotmail account. . . thats just the kicker. . .

I cant get on the internet anymore! i dont know what on earth he did. at one point i gave him specific instructions on how to connect to the internet. . . did he follow them? nope, not a'tal. occasionally i can connect to AIM, but even then, i a)can't connect to any web pages, and b) am getting IM's from MSN from his wierd friends thinking im him!.

so what would the most logical thing be to do? yup, i went and uninstalled MSN messenger. that should work!. . . [5 minutes later] i get an IM from one of his [thousands of] friends that hes met online somehow [and prolly never even met before in his life].

so now, after coming home from a blissful weekend with my beloved. . . i have mail messages that wont go away and can not be answered, im getting IM'ed by creepy people who think im someone else, and i can't access the internet. right now im typing this from the school library. i have 50 deviatins to look at and 17 journal entries to read. by the time i get my connection back its gonna be ten times more.

Upon opening a letter sent to me by the US government I have come upon one of the greatest honors in american history! thats right. . . as of this monday, i will be performing my civic duty in our wonderful judiciary system! you guessed it! i've got JURY DUTY!!!! *echoes*...

hmm what else. well i've started up a collab piece with . it's gonna be going into some art showing at wherever he works. i draw it he colors [which is good cuz i hate coloring ].

And on a final note. Once again is my goddess and savior . Have you ever had one of those days where life just sucks, and if you could you'd just fall asleep for a week so you wouldnt have to deal with it all? well Kata is one of those girls who can make the darkest day shine, and all she has to do is show you her pretty smile . you have to d/l a small software package and whatnot, it's kind of confusing at first, but if anyone has some questions on how to get it to work then write me a note and ill explain it, trust me im a cumputer retard if i can figue this out then its easy. [btw there are tons of different anime's in this site that you can download aside from naruto] well aside from that hopefully ill be inking things in soon and coloring them, so look forward to some new stuff in the not so distant future!

come back! I'm just really really busy thats all!!!!!! i started work like 2 weeks ago, then started my sencond year'o'college 4 days after that.

So between work school and homework, most of my free time [which is not much o_O] is spent talking to kata long distance. So my art time is very rare.

But do not dismay!!! . . . . . *looks around* oh, you uhh, dont seem to be dismaying . . . . *cough*. . . well anyways! I have already drawn one thing, sketched another, and started on a third!!!!! YEHAW! [does that make me sound too American o_O?].

Unfortunetly it won't have internet access for another week or more. So I still have to use the family computer to do all my internet stuff. But hey that thing is so cool and pimped out with cool. . .stuff! I love it! If people could kiss computers without getting electrocuted or getting your lips stuck in the CD tray I think I would have to kiss it ladies and gentleman. Of course 2 years from now I will be cursing it's name cuz it'll prolly be a peace of crap but HEY my tiny little mind can't comprehend the futer very well so I might as well live it up now and regret it later!!!
