This bill basically would orphen every sketch, doodle, polaroid, home video...unless you pay $$$ to register it with a commercial registry.

THIS MEANS THAT GOOGLE (WHO HAVE ALREADY OPENLY STATED THAT THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS BILL TO EXPLOIT YOU TUBE INDEPENDANT FILMS), DISNEY, ANY CORPORATION OR COMPANY, OR OTHER HUMAN CAN TAKE YOUR ART, YOUR CREATIONS, AND MAKE MONEY OFF OF THEM WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT...AND YOU HAVE NO LEGAL RECOURSE EVEN IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO REGISTER OUR DRAWINGS.

The commercial regeistrys don't exist yet. The legislatures expect that the private sector will provide these after the creation of this bill...the fees could be whatever these registries want, or whatever the government wants.

What if you found out that you had to pay $100 to register every creative work you ever made...$100 per work of art...what if they said $1000...

RESEARCH THIS BILL AND HELP SHUT IT DOWN...DON'T LET THEM TAKE AWAY YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS!!!

So...it is going in the garbage. I will buy a new one tonight, and batteries for my camera (the nice one) and have an all out vintage photo shoot which I will then have to have developed and scan in by hand...Lovely.

I still can't decide whether or not to buy and all in one printer scanner...or invest in separate entities...

Eight Random Facts About Me

1. I have a collection of Dragons in my room that includes items from the dollar store, amusement parks, random gift shops and even fast food toys.

2. I have just begun taking and working commissions for art works.

3. Every principal I have ever worked with, every teacher, and almost every student I have had as a substitute teacher told me how wonderful I am...but no one will hire me as permanent faculty

4. The first movie I ever saw in the Theaters was Ghost Busters, and my dad covered my eyes through most of the ghost parts.

5. I have played the Violin since 4th grade, but I haven't picked it up since sometime during college. Gotta do that.

6. I own over 900 music cd's that are alphabetized and organized by band name and then by release date...and I go crazy if they are not kept in order. I haven't yet made a database on my computer...but damn that it a good idea.

8. When I donate blood I can fill the bag in under 4minutes.

I have a commission to work on for my friend Irena...I will be working on it christmas day a bit. I will post pictures of it.

To do list:

Make at least three pieces for the auction at katsu. I have a chainmaille set that I made and will be auctioning.

make lots more to sell at tekko, since we didn't get the table for katsu...*tear*
