I needed a bag for my camera, I purchased this one. Didn't put much research into it, was just hoping that deviant art didn't let me down.

I just got it last night. I LOVE it. It's smaller than I thought it would be, but it holds more than I thought it would, too! I can fit a TON of things in it!

1) My Nikon D80: [link]
2) My Nikkor-micro 105mm macro lens (it's a big lens): [link]
3) A Nikkor 17-55mm standard zoom lens: [link]
4) Another camera! My Casio Ex-F1 that I use for HD video and slow-mo video: [link]
5) I even have room for one more lens that I don't use.
6) My tripod. I have a very heavy-duty tripod. I can strap it onto the back of the bag. I have two complaints about this part.
a) First, that my tripod is so heavy that it pulls the bag lower on my back than I'd like. It's not comfortable. I definitely wouldn't want to hike a long distance with my tripod attached to the back. This isn't entirely the bags fault, it might just be my ridiculously heavy tripod.
b) Second, when I attach the tripod to the back of the bag, the rain cover no longer fits over the bag. I'd rather the rain cover have a slit in the bottom so the legs of my tripod would stick out under it. Because it doesn't do this, I'd definitely lose the rain cover if my tripod was under it while I walked. Then again, I'm not sure I'd want to bring my metal tripod into the rain.

There are quite a few things on the bag that I thought were genius!

1) The straps that hold the tripod are perfect. You can clip the straps together over the tripod, tighten them, and lock the strap so it won't come loose. And it's all quick.

2) The rain cover is folded up into a small square and hidden away in the bottom of the bag, so you'll always have it.

3) There's two entries into the bag. Through the back and through the top . I put all my lenses accessible to the back. And my primary camera + attached lens can be pulled through the top entry. This means it's easy for me to get to my camera, without touching any other equipment. And because of the dividers, I can set my bag down at any angle without worrying about equipment falling out.

I strongly recommend this bag. Take a look at the picture deviantart supplies on their product page for the bag.

See how small it is? Now take a look at all the equipment I store in it. And finally, remember that this is all hands-free when it's strapped over your shoulder.

If you have any questions about the bag, leave a comment and I'll figure out the answer.
