So. I've been a bit...muse-less lately, haven't really wanted to write much. Call it writer's block or something, I don't know, I just haven't been inspired. Too much crap going on, I guess.

My aunt's been having some trouble; she was fighting breast cancer for quite a while, but just recently finished with the chemo and radiation. However, last night she went to the hospital because she was suffering severe abdominal pain, was there from 10pm to 2am, and discovered that there is more cancer, this time on her ovary.

She's decided not to go through the chemo and radiation again. Of course this has everyone very concerned for her health, so if I take longer than usual to get to my messages, I'm sorry, it's nothing personal, it's just that I've got a lot here to be getting on with.


EDIT:
Semi-good news, the doctors might be able to simply remove the ovary altogether, and as long as the cancer hasn't spread, that should get rid of it, with no chemo or radiation involved. Here's hoping.

This is pretty much totally unrelated to the topic except that it involves the same aunt that I've been talking about. Yeah.

So, my mom picked me up from my friend's house yesterday, and our conversation went something like this:

Mom: Hey, did you have a good time?
Me: Yeah, we watched movies all weekend.
Mom: Ah, cool. Oh, Aunt Vivian ran into a concrete wall running from the cops on her four-wheeler.
Me: ....Wut? O_O;;; Is she okay?!
Mom: XD She's got a broken nose, and her face is pretty cut up, she said she's got a fat lip from hell, but other than that, she's fine.
Me: ....Why was she running from the cops? O.o;;;
Mom: Oh, she always does that on the wheeler.
Me: ....And...she....ran into a concrete wall...? o____o;;;
Mom: Yeah.
Me: ........How??????
Mom: I don't know, she didn't say.
Me: .....Um.....so how much trouble is she in with the cops?
Mom: They took her wheeler, I guess that's it. X3 She's already been offered a bolt cutter, she's going down to the impound tomorrow night to get it.

Mom: Hey, d'you want to stop up at the Ridge and get something to eat?

They were originally banned because a group of mages were plotting to overthrow the Sultan and assassinated a bunch of important people. The current Sultan is the son of the one they tried to overthrow. I prop one hand behind my head, resting the other on my chest. My nipples tighten beneath my shirt at the accidental contact, so I brush my hand lazily over them again, just to see them make little bumps under my shirt.

10:00pm - Attempt to lay down and go to sleep
10:30pm - Move to the kitchen table with a cup of tea, unable to sleep

2:47am - Run out of tubes, give up rolling and go back to living room to try to sleep once more
2:56am - Give up trying to sleep, put a movie in
3:59am - Still watching movies
4:00am - Wake up Mike for work, yell at CJ to get the damn dog off me
4:06am - Doze off on the floor, exhausted
6:03am - Wake up to the sound of CJ's cell phone alarm by my ear
6:05am - Yell at CJ to get up for school
7:14am - CJ leaves; take over the couch and fall asleep once more
8:09am - Wake up to a squealing toddler and a yapping chihuahua torturing the cat
8:10am - Awake for the day

My favorite OCs...that's a tough one. But I think I'd have to say Ilina, Gale, Kylee, Ellion, and Ya'el. Ilina is an Exiled Fey with a speech problem. Gale is the son of an ex-circus performer and a man cursed by a dragon, and has a secret problem. Kylee is a foul-mouthed drug addict with the ability to control shadows. Ellion is a half-demon/half-angel and is currently in the employ of the Devil, assigned to kill people for their souls. And Ya'el is a 25-year-old AEH (Artificially Enhanced Human) who looks and acts roughly 13. ^^

Oh god...ummm...since middle school, I think.

3. Who/what was your first original character?
Ellion and Izo. I forget which one was created first.

4. How many original characters do you have?
Uuurrrrggghhhh...I have no idea. I think....about 30?

5. What do you do most: write about or draw your characters?
Write.

All the time. :3

Most of mine are at least humanoid or were originally human.

I think it's about even...maybe a few more females, but it's pretty close.

Ahahahaha...nearly all of my male characters are gay, and a few of the females are questionable.

A few here and there, but they're so general that it's not really noticeable.

They're all original characters, and most are for stories/worlds of my own creation.

He wouldn't do much more than whistle at Demo, mostly because Bells would burn him to a crisp, but he'd probably try to cop a feel on Ruze. Which wouldn't end well. *hides*

3. Hooray!! 6 gets 4 and 3's house back. But one condition....
He wants a lifetime supply of Pop-Tarts and a Kagimaru plushy.

4. 2 is in a room full of irritated people and has a really annoying song stuck in his/her head. What happens?

Vince goes into "therapist" mode. Godzilla leaves in tears but never terrorizes Tokyo again. -.-

Don't get me wrong; I love my mom dearly. I'm really happy to be seeing her again after two years of living away from home and only seeing my family on the holidays and occasional weekend.

But since Bill runs the house electricity on a generator, I have no way of knowing if, when, and how often I'll be able to get online. It's really unreliable. Plus, I'll be getting a job, which will most likely be in the evenings and on weekends, which is my usual computer time...so...yeah...

This sucks. Majorly. Like....this totally takes the awesomeness out of graduation. I really can't wait until I start college...the year after next... >.o At least then I'll have reliable (if slow) internet.

Ellion has somehow managed to get copies of the pictures of Kagi and Boz from Thal. While Izo is freaking out over that, Gale goes missing. Ellion goes to find Gale, as Izo is in no condition to do so. Then, while Ellion is gone, Ryel and Ydrae show up. Moskel, of course, is nowhere to be found.

14. 10 and 2 are in a play, and they’re the main characters. What’s the play and does this end well?
They don't do a play; they do a movie. The others force them to do Titanic. Tyler is Jack and Kielan is Rose. Kielan kills random people because he's angry about being forced to dress as a girl, Tyler freaks out over what Ankita is going to say, and for some reason, all the props keep disappearing. They're found some time later, converted into weapons by Winter.

So, next up is college. More ridiculousness. Mom stopped by Sunday night to drop of a paper for English that I left at her house, and then stayed to talk awhile, at which point she decided to tell me that she wants me to put off college for a year.

Here's me: "Whaaaaaaaaaat?!"

But I'm going to do it; when I move back in with her for the summer, I'm going to go ahead and spend a year there with her, and put off college until next fall. She's been really sick, and I know she needs someone right now. Plus, the way I figure, this will give me a break and a chance to get out and get a job, earn some money. Bill works during the day and the girls have school during the day, so I think I'll get a job working night shift. I'm a night person anyway, and that will let me avoid them as much as possible, while still being able to spend time with Mom.



I'm soooooo sunburned!!!! *cry* My shoulders are so burned, with these horrid little blisters, and any kind of touch, no matter how soft or gentle, is like scrubbing my skin with sandpaper. I will be so glad when it stops hurting and just starts peeling. Gwuh.



I'm finally done with my English paper!!!! It is a huuuuuuuge relief, not worrying about that anymore. Well, except for the recurring nightmare that I've had three different times now in which I get my paper back only to discover that a two-year-old might have written it and I've failed the class. DX

See, this is why I need to take a year off from school. I really can't take the stress again right away; a summer just isn't long enough.

My Psych homework, which isn't done, is due tomorrow. The rough draft for my research paper in English is also due tomorrow, and also isn't done. The worst part? I only saved them on the computer at school. (It just occured to me, all these tomorrows should be todays, because it is now 12.30 in the morning. Beh.)

But I will be on tomorrow after school, hallelujah, for many long hours. As always.

......I feel like there's something else I should be saying, I really do.... But I just don't know what it is..... Gwah, I am so tired, so I'm going to get off of this blasted computer and try to get some sleep now.

Well. Let's list all the happenings and good news. Oh, and some not-so-good news, but oh well.

1) OwO I GOTZ A DATE FOR PROM! Which is, incidentally, this Saturday. ^3^ MY SENIOR PROM! (Oh yeah, and I won't be online Saturday. Liek, at all. I'm leaving at 8 in the morning for Pandora's Box, and from 9 to noon we're performing our suicide prevention skit at either Wisp or GC, I forget which. *is tard* And then from around 1 to 5, we're having an end of the year bash. And then prom is at 7 or 8, I forget which, and isn't over until midnight. AND THEEEEN, there's After Prom, which is from midnight to 6 am. ^o^ .....I am going to be so tired. XD

2) My pop art sculpture is being featured in this year's Student Arts Fair! >3> Itza cookeh. A reeeaaaally big chocolate chip cookeh. I thought it sucked, but apparently my art teacher didn't. Ebu.

4) SUMMER! So, yeah, I FINALLY heard from my aunt again about what's going down for this summer. I'll be spending most of the summer at my mom's (And I'm praying like crazy that they have the electric fixed by then!!!). We're spending the last week of July at my grandma's since I'll be having my birthday/second graduation party there. I'll be flying to Florida on August 9, then we're driving to Wisconsin on the 15th, and I'll be back in Maryland on the 22nd. So....SWEETNESS!

I don't know why she would be jumping me in a dark alleyway (short of me causing Dr. Dementia's death), but all three would probably come to my rescue. Ziv and Rahim would just because they're nice, and Izo would because he's probably the only one (other than Dr. D) who could get that close to Alesia when she's angry.

7) 1 (Ellion) decides to start a cooking show. 15 minetes later what is happening?
*various sounds of crashing and banging heard, followed by the sound of a chainsaw and screaming*

Ultimately, if she had to choose, she'd probably choose Alesia, who wouldn't really care anyway and would act like the marriage didn't exist, which would suit them both just fine.

10) 7 (Rahim) kidnaps 2 (Izo) and demands something from 5 (Demo) for 2's (Izo's) release. What is it?

Eventually, Adair comes and rescues Cinderella (who looks suspiciously like Cae), and the fire-breathing dragon decides at the last minute that he's vegetarian. They all live happily ever after. Everyone present is left with a severe eyetwitch and no idea what just happened.

Saying 'moron' was a swear word. Fire was considered dangerous. The only thing you had to worry about were cooties. Cursive writing was just a bunch of swirly lines. Multiplication was scary.
