when i arrived at the office i was feeling pretty low and despondent. As i walked in my secretary, Janet, said "good morning boss, happy birthday". I felt a little bit remembered.

I worked till noon, then Janet knocked on my door and said "you know, because its such a beautiful day and its your birthday, lets go to lunch, you and me." I said "by george, thats the best idea ive heard all day, lets go." so we went to lunch, but we didnt go to where we normally go, we went to the country to a little private place. we had to martinis and enjoyed lunch tremendously.

On the way back she said, "you know, its such a beautiful day, we don;t need to go back to the office do we?" I said "no, i guess not" so we headed back to her appartment. When we arrived she said "boss, if you dont mind, i think i'll go slip into something a little more comfortable." "sure" i replied excitedly.

She went into the bedroom and in about six minutes she came out carrying a big birthday cake followed by my wife, children and dozens of our friends. They were all singing "happy birthday"

its really never a good sign when you fall asleep at 7pm, wake up at midnight and cant get back to sleep when you have to be up at 6:30 that morning lol. I think somewhere i'm getting less and less sleep or all these sleepless nights are catching up to me, oh well.

3 days of biology fieldwork is OVER, wooo, no more standing in a boggy field getting rained on while sampling water and checking out its swiming organisms. oh well, found out today its always worse when you have a migraine, i can blame my mum for that apparently seeing how she gets them too hurray for inherited problems which are generally unexplained. but on the plus sde fieldwork is over, but now the writeup begins :'(

on a happier subject, found an awesome band, Hadouken! (yes that is the street fighter powermove Ryu and Ken ftw, HADOUKEN! SHAIRUKEN!). Grindie, Grime/Indie, cool stuff.

Firstly, America are soon going to try and fingerprint scan for British Citizens entering the country(or so I've heard).
