Uh..hm... I'm gonna post an exceprt from the fic i'm writing, about Kassy and Olik. I don't know when it'll be finished, but I doubt it'll be soon.

Okay, here goes:

I doubt "Burning cold" is an accurate statement, but it seemed to be the only thing I could use to describe this weather. My face stung as it numbed in the freezing air.
Finally, in the distance, we both spotted something.
It was a house, but it seemed to be vacant. The windows were boarded up and the door looked like it was rusting off of it's hinges.
In our desperation, it seemed like a mansion to us.
Olik ran towards it, forgetting for a moment that I was still in his arms. My suitcase and I bounced up and down with every step the large man took. I held on tightly, elated that we'd finally found somewhere to stay.

Olik pushed the door to the tiny house open and, seeing that it was indeed vacant, stepped in and set me down on my feet.
I was tired and hungry. I asked Olik if he had anything to eat, and from out of his pocket he produced a sandwich with a large bite taken out of it.
Only until I saw that he had food with him did I realize just how hungry I was. My belly rumbled audiably as Olik tore the sandwich in half and handed one of those halfs to me.
I thanked him with a big hug and nibbled on the sandwich, being very careful to make it last. Who knows how long we would be here?

..am I doing it right.

This is Sallis' "Official Backup Voice Actor". Not bad, a few awkward pauses, sounds a bit young (But maybe that's because i'm so used to Sallis), but very, very close to the original.
