I panicked when I couldn't find the start menu. When I thought I had to spend my entire time in Metro mode. When I thought my computer just became a glorified tablet with no touchscreen. :(

I was kinda wrong.

It's really not all that bad. Even-though I thought I made a big mistake at the beginning, I've come to realize that I was just clinging to things that didn't really matter.

You might have heard all the horror stories regarding the missing Start Button or the weird touch interface. And they're true. It was pretty terrifying until I took the time to sit back and understand Windows 8.

I'm a big fan of his work. I'd love to see more japanese animation studios turn to crowdfunding as it's would help sell and encourage the unfiltered versions of one's vision.

Since I don't watch much TV, except for movies and series( and cartoons from time to time ) it's good to know that I can sit down a be a couch potato for a reason.

The only recent series I'm currently interested in are Dexter and House. I'm also taking quite a liking to True Blood.

I'm not a big fan of Heroes but I'll watch it anyways :P

I gotta say though, I'm so glad Dexter's back on. The only other series that makes me this giddy to watch are Battlestar Galactica and Lost.

I've heard good things about Weeds... So maybe I'll give that a try one day :P

Let's see, anyone seen the sixth One Piece movie? I gotta say, it friggin' fantastic. I watched it without understanding a single goddamn thing that they said (no subtitles) but It was f-in' great!
Hosoda (A ghibli guy that was supposed to direct Howl's moving castle - He also directed the digimon movies) really did a nice job on this one. The character animation is top notch as well as the acting and the timing!! The shot composition and layout is very impressive at times! First, my digital camera stops working for absolutely no reason... @__@ it just stopped... no matter what battery I put in, or what charger I use, it just doesn't work... and I didn't bang it or throw it... it just stopped...

a few months later, (IE a few weeks ago) when I was playing some ps2, I heard a noise behind me... I didn't know what it was. I got up to check one of my downloads and I heard a loud clank followed by a huge smash : My lamp fixture in the basement (big fuggin' halogen lamp thingy) fell!!! OMFG, glass everywhere. Good thing I wasn't under it, as it's were I usually play ps2 or xbox....
I spent an hour vacuuming.

He has a flat screen LCD. You could still see most of the lineart, the colors were too clear, and the red / brown tints in the picture were not there. it was more like grey. and White was just too friggin' bright (in general)

I tried playing around with his monitor to see if I could get the same colors I see on mine... But it didn't work...
No matter what I did, It looked horrible.
Maybe it's his monitor... but that means there's a lot of people out there that are probably seeing the same thing. I was able to tweak some settings. Now the game runs smoothly on medium to high res. However there are some locations that just scream "too much fucking detail you won't notice". Such places tend to bing the frame count down. I think I'm almost done with the game @_o) I've been to hell and back...

The fighting's not bad. although I do feel there's a lack of stuff in the game. It has the direction settings where you can change some of the aspects of the game but that doesn't seem like it's enough. I gotta learn how to counter block T___T

RDR has good character design, great camera angles, pretty good control considering the console controllers a pretty good story. Nice flow, original gameplay elements like slowmotion quick draw and "Dead Eye Lock". The characters don't have a very big resolution and the textures aren't great and the camera can be a bit slow at times. heck it's even got bugs that I encountered throughout the game... weird.. I even defeated a boss just because he dissapeared... lol. To sum it all up. RDR is a very good game.
