This contest is simple:
There are five female characters in Secret Agent Fangirl that I have had several people draw. However, I've wanted them in various costumes. Until now, it's been my choice. This time, it's your choice (with one exception.) Draw Kimiko, Chantal, Yayoi or Angry Kawaii Girl in a costume of your choice. If it is not an easily recognizable character, I also ask that you enclose a link to the original character in that outfit. The fifth character, Shannon McCloud, can be drawn in any outfit of your choice EXCEPT costumes. McCloud does NOT cosplay. She usually wears business dresses.

References for my characters:
[link] – Kimiko/Chantal/Yayoi/A.K.G.
Well, It's September and for me that means one thing amongst others: another year of my life is coming to a close. I was born October 1 long, low time ago. I suppose one or two of you wonder why I don't reveal my exact age: well, it's because of this: I'm at the age where if a guy talks to people younger than himself, he's automatically branded a pedophile. I AM NOT A PEDOPHILE. I do admit that I don't have a girlfriend right now, but that's primarily because I can't afford to date someone right now. I really like talking to younger people because we tend to have more in common. A lot of you may think that being a fanboy at my age is just sick, but it's just my nature.

Let's get back on track here though. Lately I've been asking artists that willingly accept requests for some of my characters in various costumes. I'm still trying to drum up support for Secret Agent Fangirl. That is my dream, and as long as I'm alive, I will not let it go. I feel divinely guided to have this done. I do have a few in the works, and just this morning, one came back to me. I will update shortly about that.

If you want to give a picture to me for my birthday, you are more than welcome to do so. I'd love to see what you could do with Kimiko, Chantal, Agent McCloud, or any of my other creations.

Need picture references?
Secret Agent Fangirl characters: [link]
Chantal Du Roquillere headshot: [link]
Angry Kawaii Girl headshot:
[link]
Kimiko Matsuga headshots:
[link] (With glasses)
[link] (without glasses)
Please note only three characters cosplay here: Kimiko, Chantal, and Angry Kawaii Girl. The other characters do not. (I think the chief in any costume would be one image I'd like to unsee.)
Battle Boyz characters: [link]
For those of you who would like to draw a bunch of hot hunks (well, there are two babes here as well...)
Lover Camp references: [link]

I know some of you may consider it egocentric of me to request something like this, but if you don't want to do it, don't do it. To be honest, I don't really expect anyone to do anything for me. The thing I really want the most for my birthday is the thing that seems furthest out of reach at the moment: a job. I want to earn money and contribute to society. If I had a job, I'd come back to those nice enough to do requests and get commissions.
Well, I recently read a report that said we were losing jobs at a decreasing rate. Usually that means it's just a matter of time before we gain more jobs than we lose. I also read a report that said the economy often will take a nosedive once every twenty-five years or thereabouts. It then stays down for about two years or so. The last time this supposedly happend was from 1981-1983. I only vaguely recall the time, but this recession does seem a bit more sinister than the ones before it. Part of the problem is that people are starting to realize that they can't live beyond their means forever. The average American owes more than $12,000 in debt. We have to moderate ourselves and balance saving vs. spending. I did that when I had a job, and as a consequence, I had some money built up in my bank account.

has completed a commission for me. It's Kimiko dressed as Maria Traydor from the videogame Star Ocean: Til the End of Time. See it here: [link]

has just completed a nude version of Chantal Du Roquillere. Finally, I got someone to depict her freckles! (Most of the other artists were like "oh, freckles are too much of a pain to draw" or "She'd look better without them.") I think they just didn't want to bother with it. Check them out!
<a href="http://sindyanna.deviantart.com/art/Sindya...

Hi! What's your real name and nickname?
My real name is Kimiko Matsuga. My code name at work is Fangirl. That's me as quamp's avatar.

2. Interesting... what's your current age?
"Never trust a woman that will reveal her age, because she'll tell you anything." – Oscar Wilde.

3. Uh huh. What's your favorite food?
Hmm... sushi I guess.

4. What is your favorite drink?
I don't drink. It slows me down on the job.

5. Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?
I don't have one now. I do think Fushimo from the Battle Boyz is cute though.

6. Aww! Have you two kissed yet?
See above question.

7. Classic question! What's your favorite color?
I tend to look good in blue or black.

8. Who's your favorite author?
Psychofunkapaus9 and Blazing_lion [two fanfic writers in Kimiko's world]

9. Now what's your biggest fear?
Hmm... probably that I'll never actually be published.

10. *stifles a giggle* I'm not laughing *bursts out laughing* Sorry. Any siblings?
One older brother.

11. Awesome. Who's your hero?
I don't have a hero. "Just take the parts that you can use/Toss the rest it's just refuse."

12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?
Loudmouth. Not only is he psychotic but he's also perverted.

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
Wonder how that's possible since I don't have a hero.

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
Demand a date with a bishi guy.

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?
I'm already grown, and I'm doing what I like, when I'm not at work.

16. What's your worst nightmare?
A world without fun, or a world where everyone lives in fear and paranoia.

17. What's your lifelong dream?
I'd like to write the best fanfic ever in the Battle Boyz fandom.

18. What would you do if your lifelong dream came true?
Tell all my friends about it.

19. Ok, where's your favorite place to relax?
In front of my laptop reading good fanfics.

20. Last question! What do you spend most of your time doing?
Working. Thanks to our bad economy, I've been having to put in overtime.

21. We're done! Now tag whoever the hell you want.
Okay! I tag the following:

In other news, I am in the ranks of the unhappily unemployed. If you have project with me that I have not paid for, contact me at once.
So how bad are things really?
Today I was at a job fair. The building that housed it was next door to a four-story parking garage. There is also a train station nearby with an empty auxilary lot. In additon, there is plenty of parking across the street with a lot that covers about two square blocks. There is also a high school three blocks away (classes were not in session, and they let anyone park there.)
I arrived forty-five minutes early, and had to park at a shopping center seven blocks away. The line to the fair stretched out the door, around the building (which is about a city block in size) and down the street another three blocks.

Needless to say, I didn't get in. Then again, employers these days seem to want only people that have inside connections (i.e., you know at least three people in the company that will vouch for you.) Since a lot of places around here are at a hiring freeze, my friends locally aren't able to help.
"We're ready for recovery!" They said on a banner.
Too bad they weren't prepared for just how bad it was. Fortunately, I had sent in my resume in advance to them. They said they'd send it to the employers, whether or not they'll look at it is another thing.
I'm not giving up though. Never let the turkeys get you down. EVER.

Continuing this story...
<img class="avatar" src="http://a.deviantart.net/avatars/m/u/mu...

Last weekend was one of the biggest events of the year for any anime fan in Texas. A-Kon, Texas' (and the USA's) oldest ongoing anime convention was held here. Attendance, as expected in a down economy, was down; that really meant more artists were free to do stuff for me though. I had a lot of fun and touted Secret Agent Fangirl to some comic book companies. (Getting off topic for a bit, it really stinks that Diamond upped their requirements. Now every publisher's skittish about a new series.) Strangely enough, the only weird thing I saw was in the bag of free stuff they hand out to you on Friday. Mine had a copy of Logan's Run #4. This is a very old comic book (from 1976) and I only vaguely recall the TV series (since I was in the first grade at the time.) I found out a comic shop in Plano went under and one of the A-Kon officials got stuck with their cheapo comics. Apparently, s/he got rid of them by giving them out at A-Kon.

Well, as I usually do, I had a bunch of artists draw a bunch of pictures based on one series. This time, it was the anime Koihime Musou. The plot basically goes like this: heroine Kan'u Unchou (often misspelled Kanu) was but a child when bandits raided her village and burned it to the ground. The sole survivor, she swore to eradicate all bandits in China during the Three Kingdoms period. Wielding the Green Dragon Crescent Blade, she and her friends fight to protect the innocent and eradicate bandits from China. It's very funny in places, it's very violent in others, and there's a trip to the hot spring, so I don't recommend it for kids. The nice thing about it though is that a lot of the costumes are very complex, but all the artists came through on them.

Here's a link to the index page: [link]
If you've never been there before, I've included links to the artist's sites wherever possible. Just click on the character's name beneath the image (or the artist's name if it's a link; some of them have two websites.)

"Mother Nature's got a thorn in her shoe
Well it's me, and it's you..."
- Mother Nature, Father Time by the Plunge

It seems like the weather has been a great detriment to us all of late. From wildfires in California to tornadoes in Missouri to straight-line winds and flooding here in Texas, our planet seems to be screaming in pain.I try to be as green as I can (I recycle, reduce and reuse whenever possible.) The more we do so, the more everyone will benefit from it.
However, it seems many other countries have not caught on to this. Pollution from China and the third world is global. Leaders in those countries don't care how much of the environment they waste, just as long as they get rich from it. Any opposition is immediately quashed. Even worse, some of these third world countries are proped up by the United States.

I say all this because an artist I hired for a commission recently had his home damaged by a tornado. Not major damage, but enough to knock out his power and keep him offline for a while. He was already in a bit of financial trouble (he had a sale on commissions to raise money.) My thoughts and prayers are with him and the others that were hurt by nature's fury. I happen to live about 10 miles from the Dallas Cowboys practice field. If you have not heard, it was recently trashed in high winds. There were several injuries and one coack was left paralyzed.
However, I urge everyone to keep emphasizing the positive things in life. The more we feel good about each other, the more good things we will manifest in life.

"DON'T YOU LOSE IT NOW LISTEN TO US
EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT
TAKE A BREAK TAKE SOME TIME
EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT
DON'T YOU LOSE IT REMEMBER TO TAKE
TIME OUT FOR FUN!"
- Devo, "Time out for Fun"

Fear and paranoia are the biggest weapons of those who want to put us down, like the terrorists. When we give into the fear, they win.

Some localities are having elections tomorrow. Mine is. Vote if you are registered.

"Use your freedom of choice or lose your freedom of choice." - Anon, parodying Devo.

Next convention I will attend: A-Kon, May 28-31, Dallas.
Anime con theme: Koihime Muso.

Update! 1nch has done a commission of Kimiko for me! [link]
I like this one.
Okay, I found a program that will let me manipulate 3D female models called Activedolls. I am going to be posting some of them here, but it just would not be me without putting a little of my own sarcastic, cynical style here. Some of them will be of an adult nature; so if you're offended by that stuff, too bad.
There are really two types of nude works:
Erotic art celebrates the human body as a work of sculpture; it is not intended to degrade or demean. Sex is done by mutual consent, both parties do their best to make the other feel as much pleasure as possible, and afterwards, both parties respect each other. No partner dominates the other partner in erotic art sex. This is the kind of art found in Playboy photography and at metart.com. My nude works will fall into this category.
Sleazy porn is the other type, and I really despise it. It is demeaning, and degrading. It's spread it and shove the privates into the camera, ß|+©#. Sex in this genre always involves one partner dominating the other. It often involves bondage, S&M, scat and other devices meant to degrade. This is not good. It's an ill plaguing society. Unfortunately, the mentality of "showing someone naked is all porn" still pervades our society. I believe there was a study done on this around the mid 1990's that proved not all porn is the same, although the details are not available. Showing a person naked is not bad; showing them naked, tied up and something forced up the back door is.

Update! has done a version of a character I created named Furuko Kanpai. She is a yaoi-loving, uninhibited girl in the manga Lover Camp. Here it is: [link]
I have another one in the works - watch for it.

Ah, spring is in the air. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming... and a someone's thoughts turn to cleaning the house. Well, I decided to go through a lot of my stuff and get rid of it. Three charities now have more stuff thanks to this. I had clothing and other items that were from my college years go to charity. One of the notions that struck me was this: these things have given me a lot of good memories. Now it's time for them to give someone else some good memories; someone that needs them.
I read somewhere that hearing about a random act of kindness has health benefits. I donated a lot of stuff to charities, so if this is true, you should feel better. One of the hardest lessons I've learned is that the more one focuses on the positive, the more good things happen to one.

In other news, I finally upgraded to high speed internet. Usually it takes about 15 seconds to download my main page. Not anymore. It's now very fast. The reason why I did this: I found a bit torrent called 3D Anime Girl Creator that will help me create my characters better. However, it's 2GB in size, and downloading it in dial up is a bit prohibitive. (Even in high speed, it's going to take several hours.) Anyway, once I get this thing downloaded, I might post some screenshots from it. (a few with some captions on them...) The program basically lets me punch in a bunch of numbers and it spits out a hot babe. It's a very limited program though; it's not something that will let me do my series. (It doesn't draw guys.) Cost to me: $4 for the bit torrent, $50 to upgrade to high speed. The torrent is here: [link] Beware: there's a similar program called 2D Anime Girl Creator that doesn't work as well (Plus it doesn't allow nudity.)

Finally, don't forget to spring forward this Sunday if you're in an area that observes daylight savings time.

Next convention I'll be at will be Anime Matsuri in Houston.

It seems that every time I go to an anime convention, there's always something really getting in the way of a perfect con experience. This time it was a decision made by A-Kon and a lot of the misinformation that's surrounding it.
At Ikkicon a lot of artists and dealers were complaing that they had been told by the con officials that if they had reserved multiple tables, they would be getting only one. Ever try to squeeze in over 1,000 DVDs on a single table? In addition, they were told that those that didn't get a table last year would get one this time, and that anyone else had to undergo a lottery system to get what few tables remained. In additon, the money paid was not refundable.

Truth: Dealers were not affected by this decision. The only thing out of that which was true was the artists that didn't get a table the year before would be getting preferential treatment and the long-time artists that had been at A-Kon multiple times would get a lottery to determine who actually got to come. While I can understand their desire to get new blood in, they shouldn't leave something like this to chance. I would recommend having some kind of voting system so that the fans would select who gets to appear.

In other news, I've been struck a bit by deja-vu when it comes to my creations. Recently I had do a commission of Chantal in a swimsuit. He put in her hands a ball. I had never told anyone Chantal was on her high school volleyball team. Also last weekend I had someone draw Fushimo, one of the Battle Boyz (a series I've created as a spin-off of Secret Agent Fangirl, if it becomes popular enough. It's Kimiko's favorite fandom, and she talks about it a lot) and in Fushimo's hands the artist put a picnic basket. I didn't tell her that Fushimo was the one that does the cooking while out on missions; in fact, I had told nobody about that.

Well, I recently updated the conventions site (and Yuurei, yes there is a new Ivan Flores pic there)so now you can see the Battle Boyz test shots (or as one artist's friend called it, the Bishi Boys.) I specifically designed it to attract a lot of rabid fangirls. It's about five male mercenaries that go out and save the world. They are the five types of hunky guys that fangirls seem to like the most: the brooding hunk, the sweet guy, the likable rogue, etc. They report to a control center run by two women: one is very stiff and formal (she's the granddaughter of the CEO of a major arms manufactuer) and her assistant, a very fun-loving, boy-crazy girl. Sample page of dialogue below:

(Scene: Melody, the boy-crazy girl is manning the control room. The Battle Boyz have been in a fight and had their shirts torn off.)

Melody: Battle Boyz, come in!

(Melody sees a shot of Chimoto with his shirt torn off. Chimoto, as the brooding hunk, is naturally the most bishonen.)

Chimoto: This is Chimoto. We're all accounted for.

(Melody's eyes go wide and she blushes.)

Chimoto: Control, are you there?

(Pause)

Chimoto: Hello? Control can you hear me?

Index to the section here: [link]

Next con will be Anime Matsuri in April in Houston. Theme there: another original series, Lover Camp. This one has the typical anime stereotypical people that strike out in romance animes going to a summer camp to learn how to be a better lover. Here we have whiny emo boy, angsty girl, angry girl, yaoi lover, yuri lover, all muscles and no brains guy, taciturn girl, and shameless pervert. When I wrote the rough draft for the outline, it was six issues long. By the time I finished the rough script for the series itself, it had ballooned into twelve issues. It's an ecchi series, and naturally, the shameless pervert gets bashed around a lot. His name is Bakaho Bonkura. (Those of you who know Japanese will get the pun that is his name.)

In other news, I just found out that Playboy magazine printed a letter I had written them, which I thought wouldn't be printed, although they did edit it a bit. (Yes, I do read Playboy. They pay the most out of any magazine for articles. Consequently, they tend to have very good writing.) Anyway, the thing I think that they should have left in was my solution to the problem: encouraging others countries to pass and enforce safety and environmental laws. I suggested placing tariffs and quotas on products that originate from countries with no safety or enivironmental laws.
Until everyone realizes that we must respect everyone equally, we'll end up tearing ourselves apart.

Last night I came back into contact with an online friend I hadn't heard from in years. :iconkairithevalyard: is his DA site and he's been around the internet like me for a while. It's nice to get back in touch with people I haven't heard from in a long time and catch up with them.
Now that Barak Obama is our president, will he fix our problems? The answer is: not overnight like everyone wants. One of the Murphy's laws is that it takes between five to ten times as long to fix a problem as it does to make it. Our current economic mess has its roots going back to the late 1980's. It was about twenty years in the making, so it wil take about one hundred to two hundred years to fix. I know you younger people out there are force-fed impatience; high-speed internet, fast cars, cellular instant communications and the like. Well, I'd rather be cautious and do the right thing than blindly go do the wrong thing. Impatience was one of the ingredients of this mess.
The things that made America great are still there: hard work, persistence and the willingness to get the job done right are still there. They always will be. A country based on these things will endure. So will people.

Anyway, I am always hopeful for the future; the present is usually better than the past. The thing is, as one gets older, one forgets the bad things about the past. Some people idolize the 1980's. Well, as someone who was there at the time, let me tell you that it wasn't all they make it out to be. The fastest computers we had back then were 3086's. The largest memory a computer had was 560K. Processing speeds were much slower than they are now. Cell phones were very expensive and only the rich could afford them. The Internet at the time was limited to a few colleges which were interconnected. The program used was one called VAX, and all it did was put one into a big chat room. One had to deal with conversations that weren't yours.

So I say don't give up and don't let the job mess get you down. Tough times never last; tough people do.

Anyway, this weekend I will be attending as a fan Dallas Comicon. I will also be attending (as a fan only) the following conventions this year:

Ikkicon, Feb. 5-7, 2009
Anime Matsuri, April 10-12, 2009
A-kon, May 29-31, 2009
San Japan (Maybe) to be determined
Onicon, to be determined

If you're out there, I'll be more than happy to say hi and sign some of the stories I've written.

Next to him were three other guys crossplaying. I thought "did I walk into the right bathroom?" I went out and saw that I did. When I came back in, the Sakura guy turns around. He's got a full black moustache and beard, and looks upset. "Dude, what's your problem?" He asks me.)
2.
Next month millions of Americans will go to the polls. They will be branded one of two things: racist or sexist.
Feminist groups have come out and said "If you don't vote McCain/Palin, you're sexist." While African-American groups have come out and said "If you don't vote Obama/Biden, you're racist."
Voting for candidate A makes one a racist. Voting for candidate B makes one sexist.
What message does this send to me? Don't vote at all. We don't want you, the American people, to decide who should lead you. We want you, the American people to be the docile sheep you are and take what we want lying down.

Why should voting Obama/Biden make me sexist? What is so wrong with chosing a candidate based on the issues, and not the image? Are we a society so driven by image that nothing else matters anymore? Can't a person say "I voted this way because I agree with the candidate more on the issues?

I have chosen to vote Obama. Sure, he is not perfect, but then again, who is? He has more substance than McCain. He hasn't been thuroughly corrupted by the Washington machine the way McCain has. Why haven't people mentioned that McCain was one of the Keating five? (Look it up on wiki here: [link]) Although McCain was cleared of any wrongdoing, how do we know for sure he wasn't involved?

Then there's Sarah Palin. Okay, I would love to see a female vice-president. I had sent an e-mail to Obama's campain in support for Hilary Clinton as his vice-president. I had voted for Hilary as president in the Texas primary. If hating Sarah Palin because I disagree with her politics makes me sexist, then I guess I'll be sexist. She is very anti-abortion. I am pro-choice; I feel that abortion is a necessary evil; have aborted babies now or people who were raised by themselves committing crimes sixteen plus years later. The recent proposal of Colorado's amendment 48 is a HUGE step backwards in the war for what is right. Palin is pro-guns; I believe that people should have to earn the right to use firearms. They should take at least one safety course to show they can properly handle a gun. If disagreeing with these viewpoints makes me sexist, then I'd rather be a sexist pig.
I don't agree with Obama on every issue. The recent $700 billion bailout he voted for was the wrong thing to do. It merely funds a further bubble and sets up a bigger crash down the road. Washington and Wall street have gotten touch with main street. They've been living high on the hog while the rest of us have been taking it on the chin. Fact: since 9/11/01, only one socioeconomic group has seen their income increase; the top 1%. A mere 3,050 out of a country of 300 million plus people are calling the shots.
It can change. We have to register. We have to get out and vote. However, in a few states, it's already too late to register. In others, the deadline is next Tuesday.

If you believe some conspiracy theorists, the point is moot. They say McCain has already been elected by the elite, and he's going to be as much of a whipping boy as Bush was, if not more.
I say if you don't push these people in the right direction, they'll keep going in the wrong direction. We'll end up pining for the days when we only had a $2,000,000,000,000 defict. Inflation will be so rampant it will make the Weinmar republic look stable. (wiki link here: [link] Be sure to also clink the link there to hyperinflaton.) People of all classes will have to work for little pay, and we'll have a second guilded age.

Be one of the ones that fight back. Vote for the lesser of the two evils. The life (and job) you save could be your own.

Okay, I found this questionnaire over at 's page. So I thought I'd do this with three of my original, female characters.

OCs chosen:
Kimiko Matsuga – a.k.a. Secret Agent Fangirl. The heroine of my series. She is an older fangirl, and very into yaoi. Her day job is being a federal marshal.
Angry Kawaii Girl (A.K.G.) – she's 9 years old, bitter, cynical, and doesn't trust a whole lot of things. She is in first grade at her school.
Cassee Coulten – This young-looking woman is all face and no substance. She thoroughly believes that image is everything, substance is nothing, you can judge a book by its cover, and anyone that disagrees with her is evil. She is also very conservative in everything except dress.

The rules from Akrura:
1) Choose as many OCs as you want, but they must be female.
2) Have them answer the following questions or react to the situation.

So here are the questions, and the replies:

1) Say the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word....jump?
Kimiko: Gunfire... again.
A.K.G.: You just want to look up my skirt, don't you? Or do you want to see Cassee's boobs bouncing up and down? You pervert!
Cassee: ... Well, I'd like to see those liberals jump out a window!

2) Do you consider yourself girly?
Kimiko: I'm about as girly as the next girl. I like being a woman, but I don't flaunt it.
A.K.G.: What does it matter? Are you trying to be sexist here!?
Cassee: I am womanly, not girly. I enjoy being a rich, white Republican girl.

3) Why do you think guys are attracted to you?
Kimiko: When a beautiful woman is comfortable being a woman, that's very intoxicating for a guy. I am a woman of substance, not just image.
A.K.G.: My peers have been watching too much porn online. They think they can act some of that crap out with me.
Cassee: It's because I've got a 38E rack and no wrinkles! I've undergone tons of cosmic surgery to make my body as hot as it is!

4) Alright, let's get off the boring questions and move on to some other things. Let's try a situation....A man walks up to you and puts his arm around you, he pulls a few cheesy pick up lines and asks you to go get a drink with him...
Kimiko: I really look for substance in a man. He's got to show me that he's more than just a slab of beef. I'd like to get to know a guy before going out with him.
A.K.G.: I'd say "GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAKING PERVERT!! HELP!! CHILD MOLESTER!!!"
Cassee: He's got to be very, very rich, white and Republican before I'll go out with him.

5) Do you think pink is a girl color?
Kimiko: Not really. It's what's inside a person that counts, not what s/he wears.
A.K.G.: You're a sexist pig!
Cassee: Of course. If I ever have a girl, she'll be dressed in pink all the time! Men in pink are just… below human.

6) What about ruling a country.....ever think you could do that?
Kimiko: I probably could, but not very well.
A.K.G.: Rule a country...? Yea, I would make a lot of changes first.
Cassee: My cronies and I already rule this country... of course, there's always room for expansion...

7) There's rumors going around you have a secret crush.....is it true?
Kimiko: Well... there are a number of guys in anime that I think are really cute... Let's see here: Kamina from Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann, Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist, L from Death Note, and Spike from Cowboy Bebop to name a few.
A.K.G.: WHAT?! I AM ONLY NINE YEARS OLD, YOU FREAKING PERVERT!! THAT IS WAY TOO YOUNG TO BE THINKING ABOUT HAVING A RELATIONSHIP WITH A BOY!!
Cassee (gives a sly wink): A girl's got to have some secrets.

8) Do you think women can do anything a man can do?
Kimiko: Yea, more or less.
A.K.G.: Of course, but heaven help you if you actually try to prove it.
Cassee: Well, women should always be supportive to their man.

9) If you had an imaginary friend, what would you name him/her?
Kimiko: Hmm... probably something simple, like John or Mary
A.K.G.: What's in a name anyway? One is no better than another...
Cassee: I always thought George was a cute name...

10) Look at the girls next to you in this tag... could you beat any one of them up?
Kimiko: In a heartbeat, but I try to resolve my problems by talking things through.
A.K.G.: You just want to see some sick catfight, don't you? YOU FILTHY PIG!!!
Cassee: I don't need to, I just have my bodyguard beat them up.

11) A little girl is lost and can't find her mother, so she comes to you for comfort....
Kimiko: It depends on where I am. I'd ask her a bunch of questions to...

For those of you who do not know, I am attempting to get a manga series of my own going. It is called Secret Agent Fangirl. The premise goes like this: by day, she's a federal marshall out keeping the streets of Fort Worth, Texas safe. At home, she spends her time doing things like reading and writing fanfiction, visiting web sites, looking at fanart, going to anime conventions, and the like. Her name is Kimiko Matsuga and she is sort of a summation of all fangirls I've ever met.
Well, I have an artist that will do the artwork, it's just a matter of time before we get published. Right now, I have a company interested in it - they tell me the only thing holding them back is they need artwork with a better resolution from the artist. I've e-mailed her about this, but she's recently had a family tragedy and is very busy.
In addition, I had submitted a story to an artist for inclusion in the recent Gold Digger Swimsuit. Unfortunately, he got busy with other things and forgot about it.

Anyway, Onto my rant.
I've lost the URL on this, but recently I saw a site that had a contest that had people vote out of a list of about 100 animes what they thought was the funniest anime of all time. Only one vote per IP address was permitted according to the rules.

The top 10 were as follows:
10. Armitage (an older sci-fi anime with robots designed to get pregnant so they could study human reproduction.)
9. Kiddy Grade (violent ecchi anime about two babes that work to keep the peace in outer space.)
8. Crayon Shin-chan (stars very obnoxious brat; tries to be funny.)
7. Neon Genesis Evangelion (whiny lead in mecha anime with lots of violence and some ecchi.)
6. Ghost Stories (horror anime with lots of suspense in it.)
5. Hellsing (very violent anime involving monsters.)
4. Papuwa (dude crashes plane on tropical island; older anime.)
3. Soultaker (whiny dude becomes a shingami. Very violent. About the only redeeming feature is the introduction of Nurse Witch Komugi.)
2. Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (angel with large spiked club repeatly kills and ressurects whiny loser boy. It's very violent and MILLIONS OF GALLONS of blood are spilled.)
1. Elfin Lied. (extremely violent anime with some nudity in it. Lots of shooting.)

So what do they have in common? IMO none of them are funny. In fact, only 8, 4 and 2 even try to be funny. However SEVEN of the ten aren't even classified as humorous.

Here's the fun part, however. The following animes were nominated but did NOT get into the top 10:
- Azumanga Daioh
- Excel Saga
- Full Metal Alchemist
- Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu
- FLCL
- Galaxy Angel
- Girls Bravo
- Love Hina
- Kodocha
- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
- Nerima Daikon Brothers
- One Piece
- Ouran High School Host Club
- Pani Poni Dash!
- Puni Puni Poemy

Okay, I give up. How in the world could anyone think Elfin Lied is funnier than Azumanga Daioh or any of the others in the did not make it list? What the **** are these people on?

Whenever something bad happens to me, it's not alone. It's always the first of a series of bad things. I just feel crappy right now. I accidentally put a hole in the wall of my dad's home. I'm sure he's going to be SUPER upset about this. I feel apologies and helping him fix this won't help. I keep shooting myself in the foot like this, and I can't stop.

Well, at least I was able to get the favorites thing working.
