Okay, so I've uploaded a ton of line art I did a while back. It was all submitted for local use, but they chose not to use ANY of it. *cries* Oh well; all in the past.

Also, finally got my act together and I've delivered the final kiriban prize from way back in Feburary! So long ago! Jeez! I'm sooooo slow...! >XP

If it's any consolation, I have a bunch (Okay. Not a lot, but some) art that I drew over my "break" and I'll be uploading it soon! I also would like to get back on board with my Aoi House 2 doujinshi. I'm not going to promise anything till I actually get a few pages done, but just to give you an idea - it's been eating away at me... Just ask me sister (chibigal12). She'll tell you how much I've been thinking about it.

Megacon is coming up here in Central Florida and I plan on going IF, and only IF, I can get a pro looking portfolio all put together and nice. I was at a convention recently and people had some really nice looking portfolios that they could leave a copy with a business card! 0_0 I was way outta my league!! Their portfolios were all glossy and professionally printed and bounded... Plus, their drawings were sooooo good... Especially, the backgrounds... So detailed and correct... I felt a little intimidated... (Which was irrelevant to what threw me for a loop when I got back.) MUST WORK HARDER!!! Must get a job to afford a desk!!! ):<

I think my last kiriban kind-a fizzled out when my computer died. I lost some important stuff and didn't quite pick up where I left off... I'm still trying to pick up the pieces and get my files (which I evacuated quickly) back in order. >XP At least I can do pictures now. That's always a good thing, ne?

Truth be told, I've been kind-a stuck lately... Kind-a of puttering and doodling, but not really finishing anything. SO!! Here's what I propose...

Everything gets so crazy during the holidays! Busy, busy with the holiday prep! Ack! I still need to go grocery shopping for the Christmas meals (breakfast and dinner).

The best part about Christmas? NO! Not just the presents!! Family, Christmas lights, trimming the tree, It’s a Wonderful Life, and Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer! Tradition, tradition! That and cookies, marinated pot roast, and a train around the base of the tree! ^_^

Any-hoo, I hope whatever holiday you’re celebrating you have lots of fun!

Whoo~!! NYAF 2008 was a blast! I went to interesting panels, saw famous people in the anime industry (voice actors in person as well as Peter Fernandez!!), bought a few things I can’t find anywhere near me, freebies galore, and even participated in a voice acting workshop!! Yatta!!

Chibizilla was EVERYWHERE! All the signs for the rooms (like 7 ft. tall signs!!), almost EVERY page of the con program, and even cute little pins ($6 each)!!

It’s finally down to the nitty gritty of prepping, packing, and then the loooonnnnngggg drive up. Yup. Driving. All. The. Way. It’ll be a long road, but well worth the travel! flight up. Turns out flying isn't and bad ($$$-wise) as we thought and it'll be less stress on our minds, bodies, and souls. =_= I guess my mom didn't want to hear J-Pop all the way to NY(?). I was looking forward to the non-stop L'Arc~en~Ciel, Gackt, Weiß Kruez, and Asian Kung-Fu Generation! Guess I'll just have to rip some episodes to bring with me instead! XD

Part of getting ready for the NYAF was getting the WHOLE Fest’s schedule into iCal on my computer. That way I can see everything laid out and figure out just what I want to go to and when. If anybody’s interested I can host the .ics file somewhere? I believe that the .ics format can be imported to Outlook as well as Google’s calendar feature… but I can’t say for sure. I’ve never tested it. XP

I hope to meet some fans of my art and Chibizilla at NYAF! If you’re interested in meeting me; let me know and I’ll post places I’ll definitely be.

NYAF put their event schedule up! Since I run a Mac; I’m trying to get it into iCal so I can see just how much panels and events overlap. I wanna make sure I know where I’m going to go before I get there!
