I have an essay to write this weekend. I think I'll do it tomorrow, along with my 30 pages of reading the french book.
I'm writing an online show that I will (obviously, considering the lack of talent that everyone I know has) direct and film. I wish I could star in it too, but it's hard to do the other things when that's going on. It's about this Canadian guy who's like, a superspy? mafia? detective? It's not really clear, but he is definitely a detective, and you're never really clear on what the hell he's supposed to be doing, but he's wearing a toque and a scarf when he goes outside. He's got like, these charlies angels sort of, two girls in tight dresses that help him solve crimes. The first episode is really just an introduction to the characters, no real crime to solve, but y'know. It's a'ight.

Halloween was the best thing in the whole fucking universe

! Me being 14 as of Thursday and all that, I went trick or treatingâ¥. Our Justice League totally backfired, but my Flash costume was fantastic, ZoÃ« was Green Lantern, and Sophie dressed up as a bee

All the 20 year old boys who used to watch the Justice League or if they were older, the Super Friends, all knew who we were and gave us extra candy. We stopped by my husband's house and thank god it wasn't him who answered the door. I will have a new devID soon, don't you worry.

I got my magazine! BritPOP, all about 1990's british music, and so good. I got a Vancouver 2010 scarf, it's fucking gorgeous. I am so psyched for the Olympics! They will kick ALL the ass! Sorry I haven't been doing anything lately, I've been caught up with my clubs and Halloween and all that jazz that I gatta do. It's funny how much I've been starting to talk like an american lately. gross. My dad's in town, he lives in Toronto so he came for my birthday and bought me a bunch of crap. So good

so after the humans all blew themselves up, 9 comes along, 2 gets taken away, he convinces 5 to go after 2, they find 7, 9 does something stupid, 2 dies, 5 and 7 are sad. they go back to 7's house, 3 and 4 are there, they figure out what douchebag 9 did, go back to find 6, team up with 1 and 8 (cause they have too) 8 dies, then they kill the evil thing (cause 5 is clever and brave and smart and perfect and beautiful and the best.) and they are all happy, then it kills 5...(at this point i am glad tami did not come with us cause i started sobbing silently in the movie theatre) then 6 dies (more sobbing, all my favourite characters are now dead) then 1 sacrifices himself so they can set free the souls of the others that were dead (cause their souls were taken...) and they turned into rain.

beautiful movie... but why 5 and 6?

so great. got back from camp friday, washed my clothes, dyed my hair then hopped on a train to Toronto (where my dad lives). spent yesterday in Kensington Market, i bought this great hat that makes me feel like Ginger Spice, but could just as well be the Who. i saw these zebra skinny jeans, fit me perfect, cost 70$ and my dad wouldn't let me spend MY money on them (again, Ginger Spice), also a red CLASH tube top with zebra on the sides (that i would where over a t-shirt always!) again no, and a captains has wit hammer and sicle on the front that was to small for my gorgeous head. *sigh*

for halloween i wanna find some friends to go as the Mystery Men, OR with my newly found hat, the Spice Girls!! anyone interested?

For my OSSD class, I need a dazzling monologue to outshine everyone else, and I figured that in order to do that, I would do one on pirates but alas! Google hates me! I looked up "Female Pirate Monologues" and I got "Funny monologues about shaving hair off a woman's private parts" and "the vagina diaries"

So: I decided that the best was to get an amazing pirate monologue, would be to ask all my smart friends that I have to most confidence in to write me one!!! (smart. hmmm.... is that the best word?)
AND THATS WHERE YOU COME IN!!

You need to write a not too long/not too short monologue about, well, not about but performed by a pirate. to assist you, I have supplied a google-given pirate dictionary so you will know the lingo and won't write anything like "Excuse me, stranger, i want your money! Please!"

Contrary to popular belief, Henry Selik is director of the Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. You may believe that Tim Burton wrecked Coraline, but you'd be wrong. he did not direct NBC cause he was busy doing Batman, but he DID do almost everything else. If you haven't read Coraline by Neil Gaiman, i recommend you do, because it will change your perception of the movie completely. The book is vaguly disturbing and extremely frightening, (well not extremely but y'know...)
good points on Coraline the movie:
-it's claymation.
BAD points on Coraline the movie:
-ITS JUST SO DAMN COLOURFUL!!
