OK so it's been a very long time since I've updated anything on this place aside from checking comments and ogling the work of the deviants I watch, so I thought I'd let you know I'm still alive and drawing. Thanks to all who've commented on my work and for the many viewers who've faved my Coppertone Deadpool. It makes me smile.

I recently began freelancing for Committed Comics as a digital colorist. Hooray work. Seriously it feels good to be doing something and soon to be juggling multiple projects. Multiple projects that I enjoy. For obvious reasons I cannot post images from my current work due to NDAs but I hope to have some personal work up here again soon. A huge artistic slump has been overcome and there are a few fun ideas floating around in my brain that will hit paper or tablet within the month.

Well DeviantArt has not been updated in a looooooong time so I hope to finish some pieces soon. Most of my time right now is dedicated to improving my CGI Animation skills and trying to build a better portfolio. It's been a year since I received my degree and I haven't done much in the way of animation. I did some freelance for a couple books I hope will be coming out sometime soon and that was fun.

OK, time is plenty, but damn the human need for sleep and food. Sleep is for the WEAK! Food is for the WEAK! Damnitall. So much more could be accomplished if not for biological needs for recharging. I don't have school right now but I'm in a class waiting to be able to use a capture station.
It's been a while since I've gotten a deviation up here. I haven't even updated this journal since my finals of last quarter and now I'm in my midterm week of a new quarter. I've ben VERY busy between work and schoolat The Art Institute of California-San Diego. (No it's not CALARTS, for those who confuse the two. I don't see how you can, but anyway....) My 2D animation class takes up a lot of time as well as my storyboarding class. All in all not much time for my own work. Damn the humanistic need for sleep. Hopefully I'll get a lot more done over the winter break.

Went to LA today and checked out the Body Worlds which was a very interesting sight. Cadavers preserved by replacing body fluids with liquid plastic. They were basically anatomical examples showing human interior and such, but the bodies were real.
Traffic was kinda annoying because of Nisei celebration in little Tokyo and the XGames a few blocks down. Drove by and saw a skater go down a huge ramp and then he went one way and his board another. Heh. I shouldn't laugh but it was funny.
