I had to take advantage of the Ninja Assassin promotion and choose a skin. Yay!

I've been so busy lately with school assignments taking over every second of my life, but I hope to be able to post some more photos soon. I'm going to two shows next week, so we'll see what happens! The end of November should be easier for me, what with Thanksgiving and all that. I'm excited for Christmas break too - we don't have a month off like a lot of other schools do, but returning to class on January 11th instead of the usual 2nd sounds pretty good to me.

Dad and I took the boat into the city and thought we'd be running late because we left later than we were supposed to. Luckily we caught the ferry we needed so things were alright! We found a fruit stand on the way to the park so I got my apple and went to search for the Bethesda Fountain. When we got there, there were some performers so we watched them until 2:00 when I started to look for $spyed and $Heidi I quickly found them and some other deviants and made my way over. This is when Dad left.

Angelo ($spyed) was excited when he saw how many people had apples! The group photo came out great, check it out here: [link]

Soon the fun began as we split off into separate groups. I went to find shade with the photographers and soon spoke with $astarbuck and a few other people. We soon merged with other groups and sat on the grass (avoiding the big mud patches) and mingled with everyone there. Later I wandered around to see demos and stuff, and wound up hanging out under the big tree for a bit. It's hard to describe everything that went on because there was so much!

In the late afternoon while I was standing under the tree, *PencilMonkey, ~AllHailSpectraV2 and their friend (can't remember his username!) came by and I spoke to them a bit. I wound up speaking with them and =airvee for quite some time, it was fun! I also spoke to ~Omnicontemplation for a little while before we all migrated to the clubhouse to sit down and rest.

I left the remaining members at almost 9pm, it was a great day! I met a bunch of awesome people and had a lot of fun. I still think it's awesome that this tour happened. I look forward to any future events!

But yes, today's my birthday!!! I'm 17 now :)

I know I've been rather M.I.A. lately, but I'm hoping that will change. School started back up on the 3rd and I've been pretty busy! Hopefully I'll have more stuff up soon.

I have been talking to New Tomorrow's former bassist, James, and I bought their first CD (which is out of print!) from him. It came in the mail while I was at my friend's party on Saturday, and I listened to it today. It. Is. Awesome!

Matthew Lush responded to my comment on his blog post... that made me very excited as well :)

Also, Henry (*inventedeye) featured me in his journal. Yay!

One more thing - LEATHERMOUTH ARE GOING ON TOUR SOON!!!!! I am so excited about this, I am making sure I see them! They're opening for Reggie and the Full Effect, who are also awesome.

Only 8 days of school left, which means I will be uploading tons of pictures soon! I still have a bunch from Bamboozle and I have lot of older pictures that I want to share with you guys, so I'll keep you posted.

Finals tomorrow and Wednesday which means half days at school! We have off on Thursday then start our second semester on Friday.

(We have block scheduling at my school... 4 classes, 80 minutes each. First 4 from early September til the end of January, second 4 from February til mid-June.)

I really wish I didn't have to write that, but there's no way to change it. I found out through Sarah Dope's bulletin post, but I had to check out Buzznet to see if it was just a rumor. Unfortunately, it wasn't. What a way to brighten up my already lousy day, right? Apparently he had pneumonia and had a hard time getting sleep, so he had Ambien prescribed by his doctor. He must have taken one too many, because his body was found at the foot of his bed in his SOHO apartment. Sarah's bulletin was posted at 5:17. He was found dead around 3:25. It's amazing how fast news spreads on the internet, isn't it?

I wonder how his 2 year old daughter is doing...

I really need to see the new Batman movie when it comes out now, not that I wasn't going to see it anyway. I think I'm going to watch 10 Things I Hate About You and Lords of Dogtown this weekend. Maybe Brokeback Mountain too, but we'll see about that. I know the expression is "the good die young," but why does it have to be true? He was only 28 years old.

The band had requested that Starland turned away cameras, so I couldn't bring mine in. I got some pretty bad shots on my phone though lol.

Those of you who might have been interested in them, I'm sorry about that. It was a really good show though :D

I bought a Clutch shirt and the new cd, and during the show I got a drumstick from Hello Eden (I believe lol), a setlist from Priestess and a setlist from Clutch. :)

I'm seeing Clutch tonight and I'm very excited. I saw them last year and they played a very good set, so tonight should be great as well. I was able to get some good pictures (Neil Fallon makes some interesting expressions while singing haha) last time and hopefully I'll get more tonight.

I can't wait until it snows, we've had two sets of flurries but we got maybe half an inch each time.

Christmas is in only 12 days and I plan on getting shots while I'm celebrating with the family. My little cousins are going to be wearing their sweaters (the older one is anyway, not too sure about the baby) so I'm sure they'll look adorable.

Only 6 more days of school, then we have our much awaited Winter Break. I love Winter Break.

It might sound weird (well for those of you who may know what my town is like) but I actually enjoy the cold weather. I don't know what it is about it, but I love it.

Also, thank you to everyone who helped me reach 500 views in such a short time!

Tomorrow I am going to a Papa Roach show (yay!!) and will have my camera with me, so let's see what happens! On December 1st I'll be seeing HIM again, and on December 29th I'll see Clutch. I'm very excited for all three, and I hope to have a lot of pictures!
