Speaking of not posting enough, I am in the shittiest art slump right now you have no idea. I didn't draw at all while I was in NYC, and then when I came home I had my wisdom teeth out so I didn't draw then either and now it's been five days and everything I draw comes out like crap. You draw fanart for a variety of media. Do you have a favorite series to draw for?

wow, yesterday.
i challenged myself, entirely randomly, to finish two pictures in one day. . .and i did. and one of them has a light source that isn't exactly the same as all of the light sources in my pictures! hurray.

i also drew a bunch of naked ladies at teen night. it's sort of a long story, but basically it's Gabe's fault for needing an incentive to walk to Walgreens and back with us. . .

i'm a little bit stressed out of my mind (exaaaaams).
after a lot of maneuvering and angst, i finally have a decent sketchbook--the ones i ordered online turned out to be the same perforated too-tall ones that i'd rejected before. fffffff
i went down to our local art store and after significant poking around, found a sketchbook similar enough to my last one to be satisfactory. now i'm trying to sell the other ones on the homeschooling email list. we shall see if that works out.

frustrating! but at least i have a sketchbook now. i haven't drawn in maybe five days, which is a really long time for me. ;;A;;

firstly: my sketchbook has no paper left in it. none at all. i've drawn on all of it.
i have barely drawn anything in the past couple of days because of this.

the art store that i usually go to was completely of the brand and style of sketchbook that i always always buy.

here is what i have been up to.

not drawing. at all. for, like, three or four days straight. this is not good.
writing! kind of a lot! i've written ~1000 words in the past four days, which is around 250 words a day. which is more than usual. i still need to write the very very beginning of the story, but besides that my first draft is done. i might be able to finish it today.
my clever clever plan is to walk down to the Panera and have lunch there and write while i have lunch. it worked the other day and i suspect that it'll work again. the secret ingredient in their danishes must be inspiration :>

as you may or may not know, i'm very very very close to finishing the first draft of my story.
one of the scenes i've written is rather, uh, steamy. . .but it doesn't fit right with the plot, so i'm going to have to cut it. i know a lot of you are into the whole men-snogging-each-other-thing. if i cleaned it up a little and posted it, would you be interested?

it'd be a little bit of work to make it presentable, so i'd like to make sure that there's actually enough of a response to make it worth it.
