I wonder if anyone is eager to find out what has been going on in my life!...

The thing is I came across this and hopefully, I could get one if i'm lucky enough...

I got a job as a secretary in an international school, but I didn't like it there..so, I quit on my first working day!......the fact is...the staff were REALLY smelly...and I couldn't stay any longer...I had to made up a lame execuse..something like getting a better offer..
I felt bad about it...cuz it was the 1st day of Ramadhan...uhh..it's a white lie!!!

Now, I'm unemployed and happy about it..to be honest staying at home wasn't as bad as I thought of it...It's pretty cool...waking up whenever I want, staying up late on weekdays ...and the best part is being able to go to the gym in the morning..it's such a good way to start the day...

I work in the dental clinic, which is 3 minutes away from the Main Health Center. The health center has a small flower shop and it has a collection of fancy flowers all year round. Today, 21st of March is when we celebrate Mother's Day in most Arab countries. Actually I celebrate it twice a year on both March & May ..

Talking of being unlucky, I tried calling the flower shop as early as 9:00 am..
for my surprise..the flowers were all sold out!!!!!!!
I felt so deseprate , I know that my father won't be in a mood to look for some flowers by the end of a busy work day ..

I called my driver and told him to get the car ready..we drove to some market, it supposed to sell flowers..and it happened AGAIN!..they won't be getting fresh ones until half an hour!..but, I've already picked an ice-cream cake..mom kept calling asking when I'll be home!!..the traffic alone made me getting back home even without any flowers..

I started to think it's something to do with fate!..that I am not meant to buy flowers on that day

At last, mom was so delighted by the cake ..and after hearing my struggles to get her a decent fancy bouqet..
she hugged me saying that I worth a 1000 flowers

If you noticed that I didn't post any photos lately, well..that's cuz I have sold my cam!..yup yup..I'm camera-less

I should get a new one by next week

Did you know that a choking person is only 3 minutes away from death!

Watching the instructor doing CPR was much easier than trying to do it myself!
I nearly killed the poor dummy ... hehehhe..



At the end of the course there was a test to check what we have learned and I got the highest score !..

Now..I'm an official heartsaver for the upcoming 2 years..

I have my own badge number!!!!!!!!!!

KFU sends the students with high GPA to do their intern in Aramco Hospital. This year they chose 8 girls, but for some reason..one of the girls didn't show up till now..

We are required to do a total of 16 weeks, devided between transcribing reports and secretarial work. Also, we are going to take a 3-day course on "Office Management Skills" on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Yesterday, we went to the "Health Information Deptartment". It contains the in-patient's records...that was a hell of a procedure, filing, coding, analyzing..in one word BORING!

We had the chance to go in a tour around the hospital; stopping at Radiology to see how they dictate reports after looking at some mammogram scans.

This supposed to be our "Orientation" week, i guess that's why it's boring

This weekend I went with my family to a picnic in the desert. We joined the SAEA - Saudi Aramco Employees Association - in their one-day trip to Nairiyah.

Nairiyah is a famous camping spot, especially on the months from February through April when it's considered spring. I've never though that I'd enjoy such trip. This was my first real visit to the desert.



I've been to some sand heaps when I was younger. My uncle used to take us to some sands to play for a while, we would end up drifting in his 4-wheeler. This was the only memory I had about desert. I'm not familiar with camels and tents, I guess because I'm not derived from Bedouin roots.



The trip ticket was only $8 per person, and it included a lunch meal and refreshments. We departed from Dhahran at 6:00 am and we reached the Thursday's local market by 9:00 am. The market is held on every Thursday. It's an important hangout for many families. Bedouins would find an opportunity to sell their products such as natural ghee, butter, cheese and woven wool.

Best part was when we moved to a huge tent. It was in a district area, surrounded by a rather larger fence. We were greeted by a group of 5 men. Turned out that they were from the tourism committee. As soon as we entered, we were served freshly brewed Arabic coffee and dates. After lunch, we gathered outside to watch a live falcon show. The falcon was named “Salman”. And it was highly trained. It chased a pigeon and caught it in no time.







I carried a falcon, it was heavier than I thought. The tour guides arranged some games after lunch. My father won the first place in the sack race. I definitely would love to go to Nairiyah again.

WOW! look what I've got!

My uncle arrived tonight from the states, bringing with him a wonderful surprise from his wife

My uncle's wife and her two kids have been in Texas for nearly 4 months now . They went there to continue my cousin's chemotherapy. I pray that he will do better this year...I miss the 3 of them so much, YEEESSS they will be back home soon. My heart goes out to all the families who are going through this difficult time with loved ones .

And today, the 24th of January 2006 is my 1st anniversary in DA .

Wish me luck on tomorrow's exam, I REALLY NEED IT!

My brother has just left for college, he'll be studying at Washington State University in Pullman. He never went away that far!...That's really weird, it's not that we were best friends or something like that, but I feel I'm lost wihout him!..

well, I'm getting to the subject directly..my brother is leaving for college in two weeks time..he asked if it's possible to give him my 30 GB iPod photo, I told him i don't really mind as long as I'm getting a new one ..

I talked to my mom she said, she doesn't mind getting me a new one since my bro needs one she'll end up paying for a new iPod anyway!..

The problem is am not sure which iPod should I get?
An iPod photo similar to the old one I'm using now or the all-new stylish Nano ???..
After some online searching, found out that the Nano comes in two sizes only 2 and 4 GB. The 2 GB can holds up to 500 songs - which is considerably a very small number - while the bigger 4 GB can holds up to 1000 songs, though it could shrank to 750 songs if the music was saved in 192 kbps.

I'm so confused ??
