So, to list what I have received:

£20 in monies, which I shall be spending on stuff on Tuesday/Wednesday... gonna go out shoppin' with my mate so will get some DVDs or somethings

Thornton's Toffee, which is always a win!

'Falling Down' on DVD, which I am about to watch shortly

Resident Evil 4 for the Wii, which is semi-scary... I will probably take more enjoyment out of playing it late in the dark etc, but Falling Down takes precedence tonight...

Oh, also interestingly... I found "The Algebraist" by Iain M. Banks again. It is 2 years ago to the day that I received it, and I'm only halfway through it so far... I'm not really sure what's going on, but damned if I'm starting it again. I've still got a pile of books to go through after it, and it's stopping me from asking for any books for birthdays and Christmas, and believe me when I say that's a problem

The front page is far better than it used to be. Why they ever changed that in the first place, I don't know... and there are a couple of little things here (such as the friends list on the profile page) that have really spruced things up.

But what's going on with the profile page? - every goddamn box is fighting to get attention. Just leave it nice proportions and let me decide, goddamnit.

I've just been looking around and found a neat picture with some steps of how it was done, which involved doing it mostly in black and white, and then finally adding colour to the existing shading. I have something to follow to see where I'm going and how it's meant to come together etc. This way, if anything goes wrong it will mostly be due to my lack of patience... I'm trying to do a little at a time, so I don't get bored/mad and just flip out and screw it...

So far I've only put about an hour into it, and it's looking ok - a little cartoony and 'futurama', which as much as I would like it not to be, might end up turning out as, but I don't mind.

I really want to see this one through to the end. As soon as I can get one out of the way, I'll be satisfied that I can do it, and then maybe press on and try something else, or convince someone to buy me a wacom (sure)...

Neah, I've been looking at Vector artwork around devart, and I must say it looks teh mighty spiffeh

namely the work of annalyzed (I bet HTML doesn't work, if it doesn't... you get the idea)

Anyway, some of her artwork is pretty nifty. Especially her featured one, nice'n 'dark'

So, she added me to her favourites, and I guess it was because ooooff... This. 'Twiglet Face'... I drew that in flash, over a picture a friend had provided me with (Of him). Anyways, I like the style of it, and had recently tried drawing another person (This time of the female variety). The lips came out awesome, and I spent more time on them, (I'll fiddle some more and get a picture up), but the rest looked relatively crap

Anyway, it gave me the idea to look into vector work, as that looks good - plus it looks easier to work with than flash, which can be a right bitch sometimes, especially when you're just so pissed off that you close it, then wish you hadn't (Yes, I know I'm a moron for doing that, but I was annoyed )

I was hanging around, I just got bored of drawing and such. I recently purchased a video camera, and have been filming random stuff... I have managed to use 2 random images as pictures, only one of them was worthy of uploading though.

I really should buy a video camera - it'd rock so much more, but I've been saying that for years
