ok so, whats going on that's worth mentioning..
I have quite a few unfinished NEW pieces that are still in WIP mode
I will only update them on here if people request them (though i could put em in my scraps)

Iam not playing nearly as much WoW now as i was at one point
I still plat every so often
But I am really concentrating on getting more and more Art done
But it doesn't help that my Copic markers are like 6.5$ now
and the paper i use now is 11X14 and my scanner bed doesn't really have the room to scan it in to do digital coloring

But at least i got rid of my demon phone
I now have an EnV3 with a 3 Megapixel cam (compared to 1.3mg with old phone)

not sure why, but i keep drawing Luna a lot now
she's a blast to draw, but i still wanna do ore with her
I have no clue how i can throw her in a comic with my other characters as of yet

I hope this year that i actually get a Halloween piece done (Check)
but it looks ok-ish
i may just do another one

My DSI has been stolen, (and i think i know how it was stolen)
as long as i replace it by the time Phantasy Star Zero comes out, I should be good
my SD memory card was in it as well, and that thing has every picture I've ever taken on it (with my phone) too...so this really sucks
and i still can't find any pretty girls to hang out with
its like they don't exist anymore???
I would love to show a pretty gal a great time, if i could meet another one, lol

so as far as art goes...My Copic markers are still jacked up beyond belief, and its getting expensive to color with them now
I may have to try shading/smearing for a while

but 11x14 is standard for Framing, so to get my stuff in the Art gallery it HAS to be framed, and they really like my Anime stuff

I came back, only to find that my one of my best friend's and my girlfriend have decided to become a couple while i was gone

I am not even sure if i can look at them or be in the same room as them anymore

It hurts to just even think about it

I finally got tons of food now, thanks to a Sam's run from my father, lol...FOOOOODDD (hooray i won't go hungry)

Now my big goal is to get ready for MTAC (Middle TN Anime Convention)
This year was different for an Artist Alley table
there is NO FAN ART allowed at all
and you had to send in your Portfolio to be judge, and then accepted before you could even buy a table

Well i got accepted, and I am in!
Now i wanna start RE-RE-doing a lot of my stuff for this Con, now that i can't rely on Fanart for some of my sales

Well that is fine and dandy, but around the same time i was also accepted into the HAL Group(Huntsville Art League)
This is HUGE for me!
my stuff had to be judge in front of an experienced panel of people
i went to Hobby Lobby and matted about 6 good pictures and sent them in to be judge
among those pictures were my cats, some Realistic portraits, and 2 Anime pictures that i did
LOL, turns out that they really liked my stuff, and were impressed by my Anime stuff the most, lol
So now all my Art gets to go into the show room with Price Tags, and i can sale my art
BUT it only gets BETTER, I also get to start teaching How to Draw Anime classes once a week to kids (mainly home schoolers) and i get paid for it

But for now i got a ton more hours at my job
and i hafta start coming up with NEW stuff for my Convention

and by the looks of it, iam gonna be working a lot more hours at work do to my move
so i am not sure how much time i'll have to draw in color
considering i do all my coloring at night
i usually do my sketches on off days

I shall be updating my facebook with new sketches, maybe daily
seeing how my ipodtouch can upload to face book from any wi-fi hotspot
so if you want to stay in touch, you can do so be watching my face book(but tell me that your coming from DA)

so yeah, i am not sure when i'll be getting internet setup (crys)

but yeah, i can still reply and do everything, but upload pics with my I-touch (hooray)
I am gonna try and do a V-day pic this year (try)
but i have no clue how my schedule is going to be, seeing how i still have to work out all this apartment stuff, and move in, and acquire more hours at work

I keep drawing characters over and over again and again, and i am still not satisfied with my work half the time
that and i need to be painting speed paints and what not

I wanna create a comic, i really do, hect i got the first half of it plotted out in my head, and it sounds pretty nifty
though i honestly think i might need a writer or someone that's better with words than me

I am not much one for reading books with no pictures, i like action, sexy gals, pretty artwork styles, i am a sucker for stuff that looks "neat"
Although i did read through Deathnote when it was first out and finished it all, and i loved every page of it, it was just amazing
and even when they ported it to the anime, it still was kick ass

but back to my topic...which was...

Here is what the story basicly is that i have so far

STORY TIME
Kitsu is a special girl, because every thousand years a red hear fox/cat breed girl is born, and there is something special about them (not telling yet)
Anyways, Kara knows this, so she comes to the world where Kitsu is, and wants to abduct her, so that she can use Kitsu to help save her sisters from the Demon Princess, that they serve under
Unlike Kara's sisters, Kara is a fighter, but Kara is reaching her limit, and pretty soon, if she keeps fighting, that she will loose her sanity and become something horrible

Back in Kitsu's world, Kitsu's mother Song is a model, who isn't quite all there most the time because she has photo shoots that she has to go to
Song's assistant is Kayru, who is a glasses wearing catgirl, who may pretend to be overwhelmed, but for the most part, she's sharper than she looks...

Also gems have a HUGE part to play in the story...
you'll be seeing a lot of them
not everyone uses swords, some are mage types, and some are summoners
the monsters in the story are "Fangs"
they look really sketchy, and take on dragon like forms

hopefully we'll be seeing this all added to paper in the near future, lol

New stuff---> I've been painting more and more realistic people, mainly because its really interesting and fun to do
I don't want my entire gallery to be the same dang thing over and over again
I need to mix it up more like said, and do different things, and use more references

What do i have planed for the future?
hmmm, well i certainly hope to push out more and more Paintings of real people
although i am still gonna develop my current style more and more
I think i need to learn to paint and draw BG's (backgrounds) thats always been a challenge for me to do, i just can never come up with anything, or if i do, its hard to put it on paper
and i need a real writer (way better than me) to help out with my current comic, my writing skills are horrid

My comic?
its not suppose to be serious in any way actually
its mainly just a way for me to doodle out random idea's and not be complete serious about them, thus using the simple style
and i actually really like the simple style i got going, but i still need better story telling skills

There she mets a demon princess (no name yet) , who isn't exactly an evil person
Kitsu isn't sure to trust her at all, but then Kara assures her that its ok
The princess can not have dreams, in which she has wanted for a very long time, her world is outta wack and empty in many places because she lacks a certain something to allow her to dream...
The princess began to speak of a brave young beautiful girl with red/orange shinny hair that saved her life and promised to return to her one day, she wore a really fancy kimono and armor, with a very big sword
the demon then promised that if she could dream once more, than she would try her hardest to return Kitsu's life back to normal (slightly before her death)
but Kitsu would need to obtain a certain object to allow the demon princess to dream once more

my Friend Yoko managed to Win the cosplay contest with Best in Show, iam so proud of her

Art-wise, i sold out of Death note, Sesshomaru, a lot of Inuyasha pics, and nearly all my Triguns
i sold a good bit of original art work as well

Sales were really good for me this year
and on top of that i got to make a lot of folks happy, and thats what really matters

well i have alot more time on my hands now that i've beaten Twilight Princess (Zelda)
Wii sports is a blast as well

My friend Scott was playing Baseball tonight throwing a pitch when ....BAM!
the controlled wrist strap snapped and the controlled went across the room
only thing that happened was that the controlled battery case came open and the batteries went flying that, besides that we just picked up the Wii-mote and kept playing, lol
and thats not all
we've had numerous occassions where my friend's dog has knocked over the Wii while playing Zelda from its upright postion..guess what....NOTHING HAPPENED!, lol
we just set it up again and continued playing, lol

i just sit at home and sleep all day til its night again

I tried having a fun time today with a girl
but she didn't feel well, so she ended up goin home like an hour after meeting with her.
JUST driving out to meet with her terrifyied me...but i went out and drove out to meet her anyways.
btw----> i HATE Driving
iam pretty disappointed on how it ended up with her goin home becuase of her not feeling good.
i wasn't feeling 100% myself...but i went out there anyways

oh well....sigh

my other managers lied to me, they said that (they were leaving)
but in realality, they aren't goin anywhere(they made up some stupid rumor)
Iam pretty mad about that
not sure if i can trust people anymore or not

I have a girlfriend now, she's 19, and works at my store.....but...
we don't really have anything in common, but she likes me A-L-O-T
i feel bad that we have pretty much nothing in common
but she seems attracted to me anyways
we make out quite a bit, but that seems to be the only thing we do

i'd rather have a girlfriend that IS Interested in what i like
she's never even heard of AS(adult swim)...or ALOT of other stuff
her graduating class was 11 people, she lives in Paint Rock Valley
so for her to get to work takes like 30 min
i feel REALLY Bad about that, thats gotta suck
but she says that "She likes the drive", and that "it doesn't bother her"
I took her out to Sushi tonight, i let her try:
California roll (she kinda liked) and all the rest she didn't really like

I dunno...i Really wanna break up with her, i don't want our relationship to leak onto work...usually when that happens someone gets fired or worse

I have No Clue what to do
I don't want to hurt her.....but i know that if this goes on, then someone will eventually get Really emmotionally hurt

i burned my thumb off a stupid lighter while playing with fireworks
i nearly got hit by bottle rockets (that i fired) SEVERAL Times
i got a tan that i didn't intend to get *or want*
Iam worried that i won't get a good grade for my next homework assignment
and i can't seem to draw as good as i want to recently
i miss hanging out with other artist, to just sit around and draw for hours

I sold quite a bit of art this time around
i sold some art that i didn't think would do so good
Artist Alley was great this year

These folks were there selling artwork with me...them and a few others

i like selling art...but trades are just as fun as well

....iam kinda exhuasted....i didn't get to bet until 3:00am for the past few nights...and then i had to wake up around 8:00am to get ready for Persacon the next morning...heh....it was worth it, lol

---Current Status----

I got my hair cut today..i loved having it long...but work didn't....so i had to get it cut
I am listening to my Dir en Grey CD from MTAC
i was so poor from buying junk at MTAC, that i had to sell my PS2 and a few games, though i NEVER play the thing anyways, it had been sitting on my TV for months gathering dust

iam in a Drawing Craze atm, i need to get a whole new gallery ready for Persacon
i think i have a better idea now what will sell more now

I've Never had to so much fun in my LIFE!!!!!
I got to met Messa in Person (which i didn't realize it was her until like 5 min ago)
She did Fanart of Kitsu and Kara..she did an AMAZING job on both...she does NOT disappoint!
I sold ALOT of Art....iam glad i got to make alot of people happy, makes me feel good about myself, that and i wanna try even Harder now to be better at my artwork

I know i can do better, and iam gonna prove it at Persacon!
Art selling wise----i sold alot of stuff i wouldn't normally parted with, but i felt as if it would be better on someone's wall, than collecting dust in my closet
I loved watching all the people walking away with a smile on their faces becuase of something i did, makes me feel good about myself

i hope to repeat this process at Persacon!
