there used to be a time i wouldnt touch tf mecha, but times are changing, i understand that armada was a poorly animated series n all, so hopefully this couple will suit the hard core fans who knew alexis was just so in love with starscream. this is a gift pic for a japanese guy.

the diffrence bettween advertisement and plagerism of artwork on the web is being made blurred by allot of posers.
I worked hard to make this immage commisioned by someone else. however, i did not physicly create the concept of the panderen nor did the person commisioning the peice from me. the origional concept was thought up by blizzard the popular videogame makers of warcraft series.
I know this, so i dont claim this picture as a concept that i thought up nor would i try to copywrite it.

what IS physicly mine as well as the man who payed me, is the artwork itself. im not the greatest colorist to begin with. sutch a pic costed me about 12 hours of coloring time. so id like a little recognition, pat on the back ect... from the people i want to show. in this case, I want people to save my pics and print them out and hang them on the wall. so that other people can see them. when someones sees my art, they say 'wow, thats cool.. who is this artist?" and ya see? i have anouther veiwer. so this is positive promotion.

however, plagerism and stealing, is when someone alters the immage by like, say.. cutting off the signature and cropping the picture with there own added signiture. when someone puts the immage on t-shirts and makes a profit. or when someone just downright says " yeah, i did this.. i painted the last supper, michealangelo was just my assistant" THATS plagerism. and unfortunitly, all of us, artists, pros, amerture pros like me, and even non pros have to simply deal with others stakeing a claim to what isnt theres.

i have no problem what so ever with someone who would like to use my immage for a website background or what have you as long as they say 'this pic was created by ratbat sutch n sutch" this is the respectible thing. infact, i think a quarter of the posrers and plagerists out there do this because they are afraid to simply ask weather or not its ok from the artists to use the immages.. iD consider someone asking me to use one of my immages be a grand compliment! this means there person thought your picture was cool enough to use for themselfs, you cant ask for anything better. however, jerks and bastards dont get there reputation by doing the right thing.. and allot of artists who cant even get recognised in the first place suffer.

Id just like to say, that art typicly belongs to everyonein a sence. one of my greatest art teechers told me , "an artist is only an artist when he/she is makeing the art. afterwords, the art belongs to everyone and will be alive long after you have passed on." artists are identifyed and live on in spirit through there work. you should never let plagerists and art theves ever get away with takeing other peoples work and posting it as there own. eventho the internet can be lawless at times, you have to do the right thing and protect your artistic visions.

once in a blue moon i see a mecha series that trully catches my eye. and this one has been somehting out of waay left feild.. a hobby jappan origional. introducing ru/li/lu/ra a fantasy mecha series done right. or atleast i think its a mecha series. it is apperently a radio drama/comic/card thingie. witch the manga portion of it comeing out in febuary witch i MUST pic up. I also belive, i have found an artist that rivals katoki hajime, but i also have yet to get the name of this artist. never the less i will perceveer.

people think mamoru nagano is the best thing since sliced bread in terms of his FSS mecha. and fantasy machines. well you know what? i think he sucks. im so happy that all these new mecha artists are coming out of the wood work, pro and ameture.. to give the old garde a run for there money.

i think we all know whos wearing the pants in the trad. media department. :;burns incense for her copics;; I got the B set of 72 sketch markers. and they are so awsome.

granted, it is very hard to beat true traditional CG on computer.. times are tougher now tho.. and my comp isnt working so good as it did 5 years ago... it is definatly time to upgrade for the sake of using painter again...
but there is allways a backup.. the luxurious copic markers...
i feel the love.

incidently, let me make a shout out to thos who post on go-gaia and say, that that place fuckign sucks ass. too manny whinney angsty braidy bunch problem kids who are out to tell me and you you dont draw good and your stuff wont make any money. so i emplore you, as cool as it looks, dont fall into the gaia online bbs. go someplace were youl get true critiques.
