I'm going to a music festival, from friday to tuesday So don't panic, I'm not doing a runner, and never comming back, I'm just away for a few days. Nothing could keep me away from dA now that I'm back - trust me.

On a totally, brilliant, AMAZING note, I got my exam results today, and I am feeling Awesome, because not only did I pass, I actually did pretty damn good!! Especially the A* in Art...I couldn't have asked for a better grade in my favourite subject!!

Well, here's where I grovel at your feet, and appologise a gazillion times, and explain my absence.

But, to be honest, there's no real, amazing excuse, as to my whereabouts, and lack of art and dedication and logging-on-ness, and I can only say I'm real sorry for leaving you guys in the balance, and I'm really, I mean, majorly touched by some of the comments that you guys have left me, saying that you miss me....and it's so cool that you actually miss me...yay. I love you lot <3

I suppose you could put my disappearence down to any of the following:

Overflow of coursework
Exams
Study Leave
Revision
My Birthday
Prom
Emotional crisises (yeah, that just sounds interesting & impressive LOL)

I haven't done any real drawing for a long, long time.

But overall, I figure there's no real excuse for neglecting my DA account for so long. And of course the wonderful friends I've made here

SO in the long term, I'm really saying that I'm REALLY going to try and make more of an effort with logging on, answering my messages, telling you lot how awesome your art work is and just generally making a bigger effort with my own art, and not submitting any old piece of rubbish I come up with

So please, hold me to that promise, of making a better effort, with everything

I guess another reason for getting my ass in gear and logging in, was that I realised I've been missing my old friends the Teen Titans. I haven't seen the show for eons, but i realised it was on the other week (every night on CN Too at 8.30) and since I've gone a lil mad and recoreded every episode and I forgot just how awesome it is. And I the other day, I was drawing a pic for my friend's birthday, and subconciously found myself basing some of the people's features on the TT ladies, adn I think I really need to start drawing them again. Just because, well, it was always such fun ^^ and Raven rules

So I'm going to try and start some decent drawing soon, as I have nothing great to put on here...I wish I had my sketch book, as it was looking pretty awesome before it was sent away with my exam piece, so maybe when I get it back, I'll show y'all what I've got up to in the last 8 months. Art Wise.

yeah, its like a total bomb shell, all of a sudden some of the most important exams youu'll ever do are right here, right now.

so thats why i haven't been here much, but really thats not much of an excuse to negelect this thing for over 3 whole weeks.....i didn't think i was busy studying that long i thought it would only be a week...tops

and *i can't belive i'm saying this* i think i'm falling out of love with TT.....but i really really don't want to, and it's sad to think about, but i haven't drawn in, well, months really. and i don't know what to draw (apart from my school work)

ahhh, i want to get back into it but:
a) i don't know what to draw
b) i find i don't have time for much
c) I HAVE NO INSPIRATION!

phew, now thats out of my system i need to get the ideas flowing again, so maybe i might come up with something soon. but the art prolly won't be a fluent as it used to be, it'll come in dribs and drabs.




so far the exams are alright, some easier than others. i know i've got an A in my art exam, which i'm v.happy about! and my textiles theory paper was, alright. i had to design a bag with a cartoon-style influence in applique, so i designed a bag with a girl on it, with her hair sweeping across it....and when i'd finished i realised that i'd subconsciously been drawing Terra XD maybe there is hope yet for me

anyhoo, back to revision

but yeah, i have been as busy as hell.

ok, first there was that 3 week holiday to France, which was a total blast!! a gloriously SUNNY!!

and once i was back from that, I went away to Greenbelt for a week. Greenbelt is like a really funky music festival, where you all camp out for a week, and stay up listening to heavy rock music all night....haha awesome fun

and then, on top of all that, I'm up to my eyeballs in work...homework, coursework, yadda yadda yadda

and because its my GCSE year this year, i don't know how much i'll be on here. but i hope to be....alot!!

i promise i won't just run off and leave you all hanging - at least not without an explanation

But, THANK YOU all who faved my stuff/commented/devwatched me, i totally 100% appreciate it!! you all ROCK so much!!

and sorrysorrysorrysorrysorrysorry *alot of sorrys* that i haven't been commenting on artwork, i just have a huge mountain of it, and i don't know how much i'll get through, so if you're completely desperate for me to see something, then send me a note with a link, or message me here

YAYness! I have my feet firmly planted in England again

Gawd I missed you guys sooooo much!!

And I come back here to find 214 new messages holy crap I was only gone a week!!

Anyways….el trip was absolutely AmAzING!!

As it was to Scotland, I thought it was going to be freezing and rainy, but it was actually HoT and SuNnY

I was able to sunbathe on the beach!! Who’d thought that I’d come back from Scotland with a sun tan! I’m nice and brown now……gotta lurve that Scottish sun!!

And the sea was crystal clear blue!! With lurvelay white sandy beaches, it was gorgeous! I got some really nice pictures of it all, I’m tempted to put some of them on dA

Nothing really exciting happened, we went to the beach everyday, and ate ice cream, a lot of ice cream! We walked round the whole island, and went rock pooling on the beaches. Me and my mate found a load of sheep bones washed up on the shore, so we painted them up in acrylic paint, and made them look FunKaY.

Errrrr, we also went to a Scottish dance, which was hilarious! As I cannot dance at all, even to save my life. You’d have been in fits of laughter if you’d seen me and Josh attempting the two-step together!! hell was it fun though

There was a concert too, where me and my mates did the YMCA, and got the audience to join in. that was fun too!

But not as fun as when we were bored one night and we went into the art room and put a party album on the CD player and we were dancing to all the classics like, YMCA, Mambo No. 5, The Ketchup Song, Let’s Twist Again, Follow Da Leader, etc etc. all the good party tunes.

We all stood up on the benches and did the YMCA and the Ketchup Song, and Adam filmed us all on his camera, dancing crazily. Man it was hilarious, the most fun I’ve ever had

And then we were dancing to ‘Wake me up before you go-go’ and Adam joined in and had a rocking solo on the table you’d have to have been there to believe it!! LOL

yesh, i'm only off for a week. I'm going on a trip to Scotland to a lil island, called Iona, for a whole week.

ok, so Scotland isn't the most exciting place to go, but it sounds fun ^___^

so it means no internet access............which means no dA or MSN...

But I will Survive!!

It should be a load of fun, a week off school with my mates sounds pretty good to me! and we get to do dancing and art and a whole load of other stuff which sounds fun!

the only problem is fitting all my clothes into my suitcase, i think i might have to leave out a few pairs of jeans and maybe the odd t-shirt it will fit, i'll make sure of it!!

I'm off this friday at 7:00pm to be precise, and we have a hellish 21 hour journey

but luckily i'm armed with my MP3 player and a load of music, plus i plan to sleep for most of it

Just thought i should let y'all know where i am for a week

I'll miss jo0 guys loads and loads!!

OMGA! It's almost my work experience!

YAY!

2 whole weeks of Working at a place of mah choice, and then 2 weeks off fer EASTER!

last night i went to see Fun With Dick and Jane avec mes parents.

now that was a FUNNAY film! i advise you to go and see it......but thats just me.



after le filme, we went to this cute lil CHINEASE restuarant.

now i LURVE chinease, and i've only ever had takeouts. so i've never actually been into a chinease restuarant

but NO-ONE thought to tell me that you had to actually USE CHOPSTICKS to eat the food.

i KNOW its tradition and everything, but CHOPSTICKS???

as you can probally guess, i couldn't use them - no matter how hard i tried how are you supposed to eat rice with them??

i kinda ended up scooping the rice up on top of them, and then hoping it wouldn't all fall off. i gave up and used teh serving spoon instead

and when it came to teh sweet and sour chicken *mmm i'm hungery* i don't think China had ever heard of KNIVES.

and i got some strange looks from the other ppl in teh restuarant when i tried to pick it up and instead used my fingers, cuz it kept falling off the chopstix.

not very LADY like

but i found a way round it! you can SKEWER the food with the chopstix like its a KEBAB!! it works wonders!

but appart from the chopstix disaster, the food was vewy vewy nice.

but before i go back there, i think i'll, er, parctice the art of chopstick holding

so after my lil freakish freakout yesterday, about mah computer, turns out I had nuzzink to worry about

Cuz this morning it was all in one piece, not a single screw is missing... I think

And...

It WORKS yesh, its fully operational

The CD drive is completely buggered up. It’s just half hanging out of the monitor, looking dead. So I can’t play any CD’s now, but hopefully it’ll get fixed.

And it makes a strange whirring sound when I turn it on...

Like a chainsaw

First day bk at school today, and t’was not fun trust meh

Our Phys. Ed. Class is doing football... again

Football. Futsal. Soccer. Futbol. Or whatever you wanna call it.

I’m quite good at football, well, for a girl in our class anyway most of the gals just scream and run away from it when it comes near them, let alone actually kick it.

But we did football last term too, and you can only thrash a team a certain amount of times before it starts to get old.

just cuz he got his stupid CD stuck in the CD drive. he had to take it appart. whay not get a pro to do it???

Ze spring break’s almost over

Which means, come Monday I have to go to school.
The holiday simply ain’t long enough. *sigh*

But, still got two days.

But all in all its been a prettay good break.

Roxy threw one of her legendary sleepovers last night. Which was a blast

And Green Day picked up 2 awards as well.
Best international album – I think and something else.

And then we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. JOHNNY DEPP! which was awesome, even though I’ve already seen it!
And we ate 2 whole tubs of ice cream between us Banoffee and chocolate, Mmmmmmmm…..I’m hungry…….

In the end we stayed up til 4 o’clock in the morning, which is a record for us, as the longest used to be 2:30am.
Generally gossiping and doing all those pointless quizzes that you find in magazines. Like ‘What is your ideal style of Denim?” for future reference, my ideal denim style is Bootleg.

And along with the ice cream, we also scoffed a load of Doritos and a whole bottle of coke. COKE ze coke! It sends me totally hyper! No wonder we stayed up all night. And my mate Ben knows that coke sends me high, so…

……… he said he’d buy me 6 litres. 6 LITRES! of the stuff for my birfday!
