I am also very willing to sell some of those chocolate fingers which can also come noses and ears. If anyone is interested I'll have to get back to you on price.

Other than that, if anyone sees something in my gallery that they would like to buy other than the tree teapots, please note me. If would like to commission something, that can definitely be done! It may take a little while, but it can be completed before Christmas if that's what you need it for. Some great ideas are mugs, bowls, plates... Moms love things like that. Even though I may usually put a weird spin on my art, I am trained as a potter, and I still make work like that. I just don't show it here.

I'm pretty sure that's all that has happened worth noting. I've made a lot of new friends this year, and I've matured both as a person and an artist tremendously, so overall it's been one of the most successful years of my life.

I'll be writing another journal entry once I know where I'm going, maybe some of you will be around that area.

1. I work in clay, but first I try to do sketches and work directly and closely to the sketch. In the past year, every time I sketch it ends up being really deatiled and not a sketch anymore. I rather like that I wouldn't go as far to call them works of art themselves, but the idea of making art from art interests me.

2. I get sparation anxiety from being away from studio. I spend roughly 6-12 hours daily in studio, but hardly any on the weekends. I need a break, and my social life calls to me.

3. I suffer from kidney stones. Drinking enough water is hard. Contrary to popular belief, they don't hurt to pass. the largest one I've had was 2mm. It hurt only on the way to my bladder.

4. I hate being alone. When I'm alone I have to deal with the thoughts in my head, and I don't enjoy doing that.

5. I miss my interaction with the ReBoot Fandom. I'm just too busy at the moment to know about anything going on, and it really saddens me. It's the people in the fandom that I miss the most. They kept me well during a hard time in my life.

6. I'm studying Japanese. Currently I'm in Japanese 6 at my university. Once I graduate I want to move to Japan and teach english for a couple of years. After that I've been offered an apprenticeship with Masaya Imanishi, a ceramic artist, for three months or so. A wrench in the system is that I have a serious girlfriend who I could potentially marry, but not before I go. We'll see where my path takes me.

7. I care too much about people. It keeps me up at night. I give others my all and I don't seem to have enough left for myself. I can be a huge pushover, and I don't really mind. Luckily I have good friends that don't take advantage of that.

8. I lost 15 lbs from August to October, and I didn't have 15 lbs to lose. It seems that walking to school and work, and only eating enough to get by because of money and room in my backpack causes weightloss from a little fat, but mostly muscle. I'm trying to get it back but it's hard when I'm still walking and eating only a little. I'm not yet underweight, and I've stayed at the same weight since October, so I'm not too concerned. I just want to look like I used to.


If you guys are feeling up to it, you should do this too. It was pretty fun.

A lot of strings have been severed in my life really recently. I turned over ~sculptureclub to ~arkturus and then I decided to turn over ~rebootclub to ~boggart. I miss running rebootclub, but all good things must come to an end, and I wasn't a very good admin in the past year and a half or so. I'm sure ~boggart will do what I cannot with the club. Now I have lost my need to come online everyday and I feel so free.

I have a serious girlfriend, I still have that pottery teaching job, and I'm again president of my schools Anime club, so some other responsiblities had to leave my life, otherwise I would have gone postal on somebody.

My ceramics ability has improved dramatically in my humble opinion. I know I still have a loooong way to go, but seeing it after a long plateau has been nice. I recently found a place where my style is going, and I think that's what I can contribute that to. I was finally able to make what I wanted, and not silly assignments multiple times. I won't go into how illogical my school's art department is, and especially the Ceramics department, but let's just say we have to take a year and a half of wheel throwing, and it's pretty much the same simple, forcing to be ugly, assignments every semester.

I discovered this summer that dispite hating children, because I've been working with them for 5+ years now with no intention of doing it after I graduate, I'm actually very good at teaching them. Every co-worker I get makes the same mistakes, and don't disipline them in the right ways. It's funny really, I have these kids in complete control, and I'm manipulating them into doing things they shouldn't like to do but they don't mind doing it somehow. It's like it comes naturally to me or something. I wish I could give this gift to someone who is going to work with kids for a living.

I'm also moving into an apartment in the beginning of August. No more dorm comfort for me. It's time to grow up I guess.

I can't really think of anything else to talk about. For those who care, I'll hopefully be uploading some stuff here more often. The thing about ceramics is that it takes so long, and you get literally a load of art done all at once, so we'll see what and when it happens.

Anyway, hope you all are having a good summer. Keep your mind on the arts!

Well, I've been in school for about 2 weeks now... It's going alright. I'm enjoying my classes enough. I'm actually just about to go check my pots for ceramics II *Likes that class*

Next weekend we're having out 7th annual - minus last year - Anime Film Festival! I'm one of the people in charge, and it's going to be awesome. I wish you guys could come because we're going to be showing some pretty good series. So I've been busy with that lately. I've had to go to businesses and get free stuff to give away, also get the business's logo for the back of our soon to be t-shirt. Doesn't sound too difficult, but finding the manager and working things out with them can be really challenging when you're busy with school.

I'm getting to know people in my dorm, and they seem really cool, so I'll hopefully have some good friends by the end of the year.

And.... so far no art. ;_; I'm goign to take WIP pictures for ceramics II, and I'll also be taking some pictures of the anime festival (The people working it will be cosplaying!) So some submissions will come soon ^_^

It's been driving me crazy for a while now, but there is only one club for sculptures and it's only for fantasy sculptures... This really pisses me off because I LOVE sculpture but not fantasy stuff. It's just not my thing. Alas, I went ahead and joined the club, because I have a few things that may pass as fantasy, which they did. But EVERYTHING in that club was sculpy based. While I LOVE sculpy, I've never used super sculpy, which is all they use, and I also like to do non-sculpy art. There are so many other ways to sculpt out there, why limit yourself?

Anyway, the club that I joined is no longer being run, and people seem to want a sculpture club to come to... and it's not just fantasy artists *omg amazing eh?* So I JUST created ~sculptureclub. I'm a little worried that this may take more time than I'd like, and my allegiance still resides in ~rebootclub, so I'm going to see if I can get a few people to help me with sculpture club.

I know none of this really matters to most of you who watch me, since almost no sculptors watch me But I figured some of you may be a little interested in hearing me rant about the lack of regular sculpture clubs.

I got up, recieved a call from my parents friends asking if I had heard any news on my sister's soon coming baby. I said, "Well, I don't really know, you see, I just woke up ^_^;;;" (Yes, the smily was part of the convo)

Then I go to work, call my brother in law's cellphone to see what all is going on... He doesn't answer. So I call again, and then again, and then I call my sister's cell phone... Still nothing. By now I'm thinking, "Wow, they're smart, they didn't bring their phones so people like me don't nag them." Then I get off work (2:15 now) and drive to the hospital because I figured the baby had been born hours ago. Nope, it was born at 1:48. Sooooo... I was the first to see it! I was there within the first hour it was born ^_^ I feel so special. So now I have a niece named Kaley!

Well, being who I am, I wanted to be the first to get a gender specific present for Kaley. So I go home and make two images: One of a pink heart that says, " I'm a girl DAMNIT!" and another that's a picture of me with the text "Uncle *rebootmaster2001* is the coolest!" Then I went to the shirt making place and paid WAY too much money to make two one-zees.

Then I went back to the hospital and gave them the present... But guess who gave a gender specific present already... -_-;;;;;;;; A bunch of guys that work with my brother in law! I can't believe it. My life is no longer worth anything. Ah well, it was kinda boring anway.

I stayed at the hospital for about 45 minutes, then went back to work and worked for an hour and a half, then went to :devsamuria-ashes: birthday party. It was fun, we watched a lame puppet movie made by the creators of South Park. BUUUUUUUT.... During that whole time, guess what I forgot about! EL CHATO! I completely forgot about the chat and the oC event. I feel like a complete douche because I set it up for tonight and then I find out ashes is having a birthday party and my sister is getting induced in the morning.

So, for those of you who watch me and wanted to participate in the oC, I'm REALLY sorry I couldn't make it. If it's any consolation, I don't think I would have been able to figure out how to network either :/ Maybe Zilla could send me her's? *pets the lizzard*


So yeah, it was a long day. I didn't even get as much stuff done as I wanted to. For instance, I didn't get ~samurai-ashes a present. Though she will get one either tomorrow or the next day. And I also didn't call Garrison to let him borrow my Big Brother 6 tapes since he was on vacation and he needs to watch 4 hours worth of BB6 before thursday at 7 (good luck Garrison, even though you will never read this)

Anyhoo, I should really be going to bed so I can survive the dreaded combo class tomorrow (I swear I'm about ready to shoot will if he throws one more thing)

I'm not really sure what I think about what's going on here. I think it's horrible if in fact °jark was forcefully relieved of his duities. However, NONE of us know ANYTHING about what's going on. What we do know is mainly from °jark and °matteo, and that's showing that they're not very happy about it.

As for the future of deviantART, I don't think it's going to die, but things will definately change. I still support deviantART with my money, since so far, nothing has changed that effects me.

So, I think that what has happened to °jark is really shitty, and if $spyed keeps lying to us (they CAN delete journals) then he's being an ass, but as long as the community is still nice, and $spyed doesn't weed out the lesser artists things should be okay.

My avatar is staying the way it is, and if I happen to have a deviation to upload on the 7th, well then I'll effin upload it.

Well, school is over in a month from wednesday, so I thought maybe I should start advertizing again, to get ready for the summer when I can really work on this stuff. So here are some thumbnails of my cosplay deviations. Sorry they can't be links.

I haven't forgotten about my cosplay accessory site, I just had to put it off due to school (That's the responsible thing, right?) Well, the contact address I put on the site was my old yahoo one. I didn't think ANYBODY would EVER see my site and want to buy my stuff, since I've really only advertized here... I was wrong. ^_^;;;

Two people seemed really interested in buying something, and another mildly interested. It's a start at least. So I got to them about 2 months late and I feel really bad and irresponsible for it. But I REALLY thought nobody could see it.

Yeah, not much is new. I haven't had much time for art outside of school. I guess I could put my school stuff up, but it's mainly exercizes.

I plan on maybe (MAYBE) switching my 88 misc. sculptures into the right categories. I'm glad we have this artisan crafts section, but this will be like, the third time I have to move my stuff <_< I also don't like the name "artisan crafts" just because the word "crafts" is in there. I'M NOT A CRAFTY GUY! Craft=Crap... Art>Craft! Therefore Art does not equal Crap.

Anybody else feel this way? o.O

FUCK! Fuck I hate that man, and fuck I hate that class!

I wasn't aware I was that bad of a writer, but I guess I'm the worst in the class. I really like how he always chuckles when he talks about how somebody hasn't yet passed a paper, that's really nice of him.

FUCK DIVERSITY!

I'm not diverse, I'm white. He tells us we're all diverse, but then when it comes to writing how we are it's only based on race... HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO BE DIVERSE WHEN I'M A MIDDLE CLASS WHITE MALE!?!?!?!? I'm not, that's the point. He want's us to fail.

Worst of all is that I need to pass this class so I can be a sophmore next year, or else I'll have less financial aid... which is already low due to my parents large income, yet they won't help me unless I need it.

God it feels good to get all this out.

Wow, I've been on an anime kick for a long time now.

Naruto

Man, I love this show! Right now I'm on episode 103, and it's pretty slow, but still good. I now have a favorite episode. 101 is effin hillarious... "YOU'VE BEEN PUNK'D!!!"


Haibane Renmei

OY! This was really good. A bit slow in the beginning, and the middle, and yeah, the end too. But good story.


Full Metal Alchemist

I've already seen this in japanese thanks to ANBU, I got my friend to watch it too and he REALLY likes it. My point with this is HOW CRAPPY THE ENGLISH VOICES ARE!!! OMG they're extremely bad. Ed's voice isn't nearly as pained and angry... this is the first time the americans put less emotion in the characters. Al's voice is really cowardly and when he's in his armor body it sounds like he's actually inside of it, and not *it* Overall they both sound extremely pathetic. <_<


Nadesico

I found this show in vhs so I bought it (really cheap too) I've wanted to see it for a while, but I just can't get into it. It's too funny, I don't care for funny anime. But I'm cheap enough to watch it since I payed for it.


Monster

^_^ I love this show. It's so serious and somewhat dark. I'm watching it at anime club ever friday night, so it could still be a while before I finish it. But it's worth the wait.


Samurai Champloo

I missed the first couple of episodes so I still don't know why they're hanging around eachother (Anybody care to fill me in?) but it's a really cool show and actually funny.


GANTZ

I saw the first two episodes this summer but I keep thinking about it. I really liked what I saw and I can't wait until christmas to download the 9(?) other episodes.


Bleach

~boggart showed me this anime. I've only had time to watch the first episode and I actually don't really care for it thus far. I'll watch the other 5 eps to see where it goes.


Neon Genisis Evangelion, Wolf's Rain, Rah Xephon, and Full Metal Alchemist are still my top favorites.

I feel all dead here even though I'm semi-active. I think it's because I haven't done pottery for a long ascii time. So sorry to those of you who are watching me for my 3D stuff, it's been pretty scarce.

I've started college, and it's pretty fun. I'm enjoying my classes and I don't have much homework. My roommate is also pretty cool. We get along well enough. My only gripes are the parking and how I can't download anything.

Big Brother is getting SO AWESOME! I love this game. Now is my favorite time. There's 5 people in the house and the game is ON!

Also... SURVIVOR IS STARTING! September 16th is a day I've been waiting for since around march. It's goign to be the first real survivor (all stars was different) that I've seen in a long time... and yes I've seen all 8 survivors and all 5 big brothers. I've missed about 10 episodes in the 13 series/seasons. I'm teh dedicated.

This summer went by fast.

Ugh! Normally I wouldn't care about nudity on DA, but since I'm still living at home and my parents can walk into the room at any given moment, I'm not too keen on the whole nudity thing. I'm actually warming up to figure art. but wow, lately the daily deviations have been one nude after another and they're not even that good. I know I shouldn't be complaining about it because I can turn off all mature content, but some of the artists I watch use mature content (I'm not a perv btw) I guess I'm also just a little upset that the same types of art keeps getting put up. WHERE'S A SCULPTURE, EH?!? I don't think I've EVER seen a sculpture as a daily deviation or a daily favorite. And I'm getting sick of it. Everyone always talks about how there aren't many sculpters on DA when there are, they're just quite. I'm beginning to think I'm the most vocal sculpter ever. So yeah, I'm tired of the whole front page favorites thing because they're always all the same.

Wow, that took a much different angle than originally intended.

I went through a lot of the previous Daily Deviations (DD) and found all the gallery directors I could find. Gallery Directors have a ^ in front of their name btw. I think I've covered all the styles that are not in there enough, plus some that are done too much <_<

`frail is the guy to talk to. He seems to have done most of the Traditional Art DD's. But I have a feeling that if you ask one gallery director to put up a piece, then they'll direct you to the correct person.

Incase you don't know how to get a DD up I guess it's really simple. All you have to do is write a note or e-mail to that gallery director with the link to the art you want up. (Most of the time you don't ask for yourself )

So let's start a revolution or something! Let's find some worth while deviations to put up as the DD.

Ok, now for listening to me complain...
Work is a bitch. A new lady that I can't stand has to work around me. It's a weird situation, she works as a building manager for the building I work in, only she works for the organization who owns the building so she feels she can do anything she wants (I work for Parks and Recreation, not with the owners of the building) So far we haven't got along by any means. Finally wednesday 2 weeks ago we had a heart to heart - or so I thought. Come the next sunday, she moved everything around after I specifically asked her to not move anything MORE around until my classes are over because she will confuse the students. She just had to wait a week, that's it. Lo and behold, the students were asking me where their works-in-progress were, only after looking for them for about 10 minutes. ALSO I found out the thursday after we had a "heart to heart" that myself and my co-worker arent' allowed to show up at open studio (that WE used to hold until THEY took it over) unless we want to pay. That REALLY pisses me off because that's 6 hours a week that I'll be missing. During the course of a summer, I make about $396 from Open Studio alone. All this has been going on since Feb started, so february wasn't my favorite month.

When I woke up this morning the house looked completely different. It looks like a cat has never been here. Nothing has been cleaned though, it must be all in my head. However, his litter box, food dish, toy bird, and towel that he layed on the futon are all gone, no fur anywhere. It just feels wrong. Worse yet, it hasn't really hit me that he's dead. I haven't seen his body, it just feels like he's gone for the moment. This is going to be a long hard month or so.

Please don't comment saying it's for the best, I just need some time to cope with it myself.

Incase anybody is wondering, the wheels we got were Shimpo RX Whispers. They're really cool, they don't make a sound. It can be a little erie at times lol.

Schools going fine. I have first hour off and I hate that because of the crappy parking, so I think I might start going to school on time and just spend 1st hour in the library doing homework or something.

It's the year 2004 and nothing really seems different. I'm not sure if thats good or bad so I'll let you know later lol.

I'm currently half-stressing about my new independent sculpture class because I don't have any good ideas! I'm a potter, I'm used to being limited to one medium so now that the choices are pretty much unlimited I don't know what to do. Which makes me very pissy.




Now the basics:

I'm currently in an art trade with and I'm willing to do more. They're fun

I also do commissions, and pretty cheap too. It's hard for me to tell you a price average because it can range but a normal pot about 4-8 inches is about $15. Anything else you want is more than fine (keeps my skills inproving ) Anything sculpy-made would be more than $15 unless it's really small because of how pricy the clay is. Those prices don't include shipping. So far I only have the not-going-outside-for-one-day thing done and I think I may be able to get half way through Gundam SEED. I've only seen the first two episodes so far. And it's too late now to watch ReBoot because it will mess up my sleeping patterns too much right before school.

I hate letting myself down. I hate breaking promises, I hate this.

heh, I just realized that my reboot watching experience may be a sequal to MG's Basement con 99' lol, that's a great story.

I also finally finished downloading Gundam SEED. it took about 3 weeks so I'll watch that too.
