I'm slowly making progress on my portfolio to sell at Conifur. It's gonna be 10 black and white pics (possibly one color..depends on the deadline) and I'll be selling them for $10 a pop. I hope to have it completed by September 1st.

For those of you who missed me last Conifur, I assure you all.. I will be there the whole con. Last year sucked since I was there for a total of 36 hours. Once I am back from the con, I will start updating this site again with art.

Last night, on the 3 week "anniversary" of my car wreck, I get injured at work.

How did it happen?

I work in an arcade which also happens to have midway games and coin op games. There is one game in particular that is called Checker Cab. Checker Cab is one of those race style games where you roll a ball up a slanted ramp into a set of holes. Everytime the ball drops in a hole, your cab races across. First person to get to the other side wins.. We on the same page here?

Okay, well Checker Cabs was closing for the night. I had a new employee working the game and didn't know how to shut it down. So, to be a good floor Supervisor, I decide to help out. In order to close the game down, you have to climb onto the players seats and up onto the playfield (the slanted ramp) to reach the rope to roll down the curtains.

So I climb up there and roll down the first set of curtains. I had only one more set on the other side of the game. So I walk across the playfield toward the curtains.

As I reach midpoint, I step on a photo some dumbass guest left behind. My right foot slides forward and I fall onto the playfield. If that isn't bad enough, I tumble down the ramp, hit the player seats then roll to the floor, flat on my back.

Fuckin A. I'm not seriously injured but I do have some interesting "reminders" of my dive:

1) A gash on my left shin along with bruising
2) Bruises on my right knee cap
3) A long scrape on my right arm and bruising which goes from my wrist almost to my elbow
4) A muscle spasm that comes and goes

My arm looks like a fucking rainbow of colors right now...LoL

Well.. last night while coming home from work some shitbag from California ran a red light and slammed into the passenger side of my car. My car is trashed. Both passenger doors on the right are bowed in, my window in the front passenger door is smashed (I received a shower of glass all over me during the accident). My car is probably going to have to be totalled..

No witnesses... Not a single fucking person on this busy street stopped to be a witness. Therefore the Highway Patrol Officer couldnt write a moving violation. I hate driving in this fucking city. I hate people! Especially foreign fucks from California in their little richie bitch S.U.V.s. I HATE IT!!!

I am so grateful that no one was in the car with me. They would have been seriously injured. I'm also grateful that I'm okay. If it would have been on the driver side...who knows..

To top it off...this guy from California.. who, when I got out of my car starts ranting at me saying what the hell was I doing, talking on his cell phone and fine and dandy requests an ambulance for himself. That shitbag.. Even Highway Patrol knew he was full of it.

Only good thing is that the highway patrol officer wrote that guy a bunch of citations for other things. Haha!!

Most importantly, other than a sore back and neck, I'm okay

Disneyland is coming up in May. I'm moving to my new place this coming month. I'm learning how to cook and think it's going well. My roommates haven't complained yet..LoL.

I want to go to Anthrocon. Kinda iffy on it since it's sooo far away and I wouldn't be able to afford it (unless possibly I room with someone). I get like this every year. I am suffering from con withdrawl. Maybe I should check out that one in Irvine CA.
