Zombieland is easily, one of my favorite movies of the year; one of the best Zombie films to date.

So, the past few days I took some time out to catch a few movies.

Jim Carrey's YES MAN; not good. Zooey Deschanel is awesome though.

ONG BAK 2 with Tony Jaa. Simply put: shit movie. I enjoyed the first ONG BAK, along with TOM YUM GOONG. But OB2 is a clusterfuck. I stopped watching after 40 mins because it was that bad. It took me 3 separate occasions to actually finish the movie, and I was left very disappointed. At least one, ONE, fight was...epic.

It's sad to say that BATTLESTAR GALACTICA ended last week. I wish it'd go on for another year or two. Even though there are spinoffs and movies, it isn't the same.

A few telly shows I'm catching up on: MAD MEN, [BR]EAKING [BA]D, EASTBOUND & DOWN

By the way, MONSTERS VS ALIENS is awesome.

WATCHMEN is screening tonight down in the Annex; while everyone else (for the most part) gets to see it on the 6th.

I remember borrowing a copy of WATCHMEN back in the 90s, and I was hooked from the get-go. The story, the writing, the art, felt so different to me compared to some of the other stuff I was reading at the time. Back then, comics revolved around a lot of the Marvel franchises (X-Men & anything related to it) to some of the Batman story arcs.
But it always came down to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbon's work that kept me interested in both art and writing.

Am I one of those fans that got all pissy that Zack Snyder was behind the film? That they changed the ending? That they even had the balls to make a movie adaption?

Nope. Not me.

Come March 6th, my mates and I have got another date with WATCHMEN.
