Halloween approacheth. I already did a costume party, and I was Tank Girl. And for Halloween, I had intended to be Marie Antoinette with her head cut off. But it seems that now I can't get a decent wig for it.

I was going to build it myself. But NO WHITE KANEKALON TO BE FOUND ANYWHERE!!!!~

Here I am in a place which I didn't expect to be for at least another few years. I finally got my tattooing act together, and I've been doing it solid for some time now. And hey, I ain't half bad. And I'm a shoe-in for licensing, when and if that ever comes about in Nova Scotia.

Tattooing is a maritime tradition, yo. But it's going to have to be regulated some day. Or else people be getting some Hepatitis up in here.

Got a new job, working in a salon. A swanky one at that, too. Not that I'm swanky, but it's always good to have something to wave in the faces of opposition. Or something? Plus, it's a much better position to change the world from. With affluency (or the illusion of, for that matter), comes power. The power to change minds.... Which is the power I desire.

I won't stop until the opinion of a someone like me is valuable to a crotchety old woman. And the battle rages on.

I decided to come on here, and then I decided to upload a picture of myself. And with such an aesthetic update, I figured it couldn't hurt to make an update on my life in general and all the excellent things that have been occurring as of late.

Number one, I'm a blonde again. Number two, I'm moving out of this shit ass compartment and into a BRAND NEW HOUSE!!!!!!! Yes, it's a townhouse in Fairview. Sally bought the house on the precedent that we would move in and pay her 600$ a month to help cover the mortgage. So... I get to live with two of my best friends, Jeremy AND!!!! now Sarah is moving in, too.

We fucking have a music room, and an art studiooooo. It's the sweetest thing ever. I can't wait to move in. But I must wait until February.

I got a new sketchbook, as I mentioned in my previous entry.... and now it's got some stuff in it. But it's deadly impossible to get a picture of it with this shitty ass macbook.

Well. I'm starving. I'm going to get some foodz.

I'm trapped in a stupid apartment that's too small. Or well, it was fine, but then my boyfriend moved in. He's been making me murderous lately. I don't know if it's just because it's winter and I hate the snow, or whether he's actually at fault.

I bought a new sketchbook though. (However, it's pretty much empty, because he's always around, making it so I can't draw. Ugh.)

He went to art school for a year, so I think he thinks he's some sort of authority or something and can critique me without invitation whenever he feels like it? Don't know, don't really care.

I hate going to school, because it's just too boring. I like what I'm learning, it's just too slow for me and so I end up spending 6 hours there everyday learning what I could have learned on my own in two hours. Frustrating, but I will finish the course because it's a lot of money to go, and once I'm finished, I can get a job at a better salon.

So some days, understandably, I don't want to go. In fact, I feel violently disgusted by the idea of going, so I don't. He seems to think this is "laziness", when in all actual fact, I don't give a shit and I don't feel like going there, so I don't.

I have paid the rent for this stupid apartment for the past 4 months. He should be paying half, he hasn't. That's the equivalent of 1150.00$. I don't even want to live here anymore, but I'm stuck because he's here now.

We have too much stuff to fit here, and all the ways I do things are messed up because he does them differently. Mind you, I've been living here for a year and a couple months before he even moved in. I have my routines. I know where I keep things.

Since I'm in school full time, I'm not working and I'm living off of Student Loans. I'll owe the government almost 20,000.00 by the time I'm finished school. He works at Blockbuster full-time. That's probably about 40 hours a week. I'm in school for 37 hours a week. So it's the same idea, except I'm not making money.

He seems to think that I don't understand that he works so hard all day putting movies away, while I'm at school 8:30 in the morning, filing fucking corns off of old people's feet. I'd understand him using this rationale if he was working 40 hours a week to pay for something.... however, he just uses the money on cigarettes and other personal expenses. And sometimes he gives me change for the laundry. How nice of him! Then bitches at me because I apparently just wash my own clothes and never his....

UGH! And most of the time, he's completely reasonable about things, but recently, it seems to be going more along the lines of disrespectful and rude.

I didn't have cigarettes, so I asked him for one of his. He told me I didn't deserve it for being so lazy, but threw it at me anyway... SOUND LIKE PARADISE TO YOU?! Not to mention, our friends were in the house! In the same room, for god's sakes.

So they know he's an asshole too. How embarassing. More so for me, because as it becomes increasingly more apparent, he doesn't care.

Last night, things were going nicely. I called him probably 9 times from the bus stop where I thought I'd wait for him after getting some groceries, he didn't answer. Turns out, when I got home, he had gotten a drive home from one of our friends. No reason why he didn't answer the phone though.

We ate. Things were good. Then he just decided to watch a movie. HE DOESN'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THAT I DON'T LIKE TO WATCH TELEVISION. IT PISSES ME OFF, I HATE IT. IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'VE GIVEN UP MY WILL TO LIVE.

Yet almost every single night, we are watching some stupid movie. Movies are not real. The people in them ARE NOT REAL. They don't matter. All that matters about movies is that you can talk about them to other people who have seen them.

"Did you see the part where he jumped off a burning car?"
"Yes, it was awesome. Too bad the entire thing is a fabricated piece of shit. I hope people didn't get hurt for our entertainment. "

And it doesn't matter if you've seen them or not. Because you can watch them over and over and over and over. It's pure insanity. He can't possibly enjoy it. He must just do it because he doesn't know what else to do.

I understand that people can like movies. He can watch a movie if he likes, but why does it have to be in the time slot where I can't logically be somewhere else? I have to go to school in the morning, I hardly ever get to bed on time anyway.

Oh man. Consistent wild times, all around. That's all I can say.

My course is almost done. Me and Cando are moving in together. It's going to be haywire. And I think today I'll make a new Deviant ID. It's been too long without a change.

Plus, I have a sweet idea. If I can get the camera to work, then there should be some good stuff occurring soon.

Today I wrote a letter to Adam Ant. I've been wanting to for a very long time, but nobody had any contact information for him. So I got in the know, and fired one off today. I hope he enjoys reading it. That was my main intent with the letter. To be entertaining and hopefully make my hero smile.

I have made it to position #72 on Spymac, so that's good.
Excellent day at school. I raked in the tips. Extra money, always good.

All the more to spend on fun stuff. I am ever so glad I didn't waste my money on university. So many people are putting out all that money to get a degree, and then all of them end up working crappy jobs that are no fun. I might end up going there for fun sometime in the future, but I don't think it's really the solution for a lot of people. It seems like a lot of people go there because they a) aren't smart enough to live on their own, but are too old to go back to highschool, or b) don't know what they want to do with their lives.

Totally looking forward to the Moncton roadtrip. As long as my student loan comes in, everything should be peaches and cream.

I think I'm going to upload my stupid Uruha portrait soon. I really should. In the meantime, I'm putting up some of my photos. Just because. I feel like I need to put something on here.

And one of you, send me your copy of Photoshop!! With the authorization code. I can't download it because I'm ... well.. I'm just too lazy for that.

it's friday.
i want to go home tonight, but i can't. because i have language exchange tomorrowwww at 1pm. lame. it's fun, but i'm really bored here.

not to mention i woke up, ate my breakfast, puked it up and then went back to sleep again. i hardly ever get sick. so here i am. it's raining so hard outside anyway. there'd be no point in trying to get over to halifax on the bus, because i'd be soaked. and have to take the bus for 2.5 hours in a soggy outfit. tomorrow will be better.

i have to start working on my cosplay for animaritime this year. it's gonna be hardcore.
three different outfits. not a whole lot of time, not a whole lot of money. i hope i can swing it....

christmas is coming, though. so maybe i'll try and ask for the supplies for christmas? haha, you never know. it might work.

I watched Formula 17. Which was pretty hilarious. I would reccomend it to everyone and anyone. Just not hoity toity folks who frown upon the relationships of the males with the males. The character named Yu made me die laughing. Too funny.

However, watching movies about love does make one grouchy. Where is my love?!

GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS.

Hahah. "Hi, I'm Miyavi. What's up? I'm from Tokyo, I'm Japanese artist. And that's it."

Man. I never thought I'd see the day where Miyavi attempts to conduct his interviews in English. It was grand. The kid interviewing him, however, had a terrible voice. The kind of which that should never be on the radio. Ever.

"I'm so sleepy. It s early morning, huh? Good weather. It's a funny day."

(Note: He was in LA. Lol. It's a good thing the weather was nice, because you know we hear about it being akin to England over there...)

Miyavi probably felt weird beside him. The fat kid who interviewed him. And, oh yeah, during the interview, the guy asks Miyavi about his live at Las Vegas.

And Miyavi's like, "Yeah, I went there. I played at a club in Las Vegas. It was 21+. But a lot of my fans were there. There were lots of Chinese guys and black guys there. Because they're NBA all stars."

I lost it at that point. Man. Because they're NBA all stars.

Today is exciting, because I am going to do Roger's hair. Yep. She's going to call me at ten or something. I guess I should shower.

Ugh, summer has come. And already I've created a huge fuss for myself to stew in. Everyone knows what a retard Ant is, and everyone knows how stupid I am for even bothering with him, so finally I threw in the towel.

He pissed me off for the last time. Now we are not speaking. By order of me.

I suspect things will clear up before the end of the summer, but I will never put up with his shit again. Ever. Don't even ask me to, cause I won't.

New stuff. And I still haven't gotten a decent picture of my Adam Ant painting. I will soon though.

My upcoming projects include: designing the grad invitation ASAP, drawing vince noir for my entertainment and most likely jessica's as well, a surprise collaboration with shannon on what we are not sure yet, and opening a can of mixi annihilation this weekend at my grandmother's. Might be a party somewhere around there? Not sure. The fair is in PHK though, so I might do that too.

I'll probably watch the Mighty Boosh twenty more times. And I have to do a biology project on hermaphrodites. Which should be interesting, based on the returns I've gotten from a google search of that query....

Halifax on monday to hunt for a new home. Should be exciting.

Also got my income tax back. I'll go cash that cheque tomorrow. And then hopefully not blow it on pointless stuff. Speaking of that, where is my issue of PURPLE SKY?!! I demand to know. I better look on the site and make sure they haven't declared bankruptcy.

The answer is, I missed the bus. At a most crucially interesting time too. Abbey was going to attempt to kick me off the art show committee, and then I was going to laugh in her face as everyone else told her off, and Mr. P and Mrs. MacFarlane relinquished her powers and gave them to Katie, who rightfully deserves them...

Now I'm going to miss everything, because she's going to say I was a coward who didn't show up. In all actuality, she won't have the guts to say that, and me showing up late will just throw her off and ruin her entire plan to destroy the fortress that is me.

I better get there. I have more stuff to put in.

And I have all day to work on my SECRET PROJECT.

Yeah, so I'm trapped at school, with nothing to do. Roger was supposed to come and meet me, but she never came. So here I am. Even after I missed the bus and had to call half the country so I could manage to get here to not make her mad, and she doesn't even show up.

Fantastic. There are days when I wish I didn't have to deal with anyone. Seriously. Today is one of them.

I would work some more on my secret surprise, but I am lazy. And I left most of my stuff in the art room to get robbed by like, the kids there.

Sigh. Katie's not here, Shannon's not here. Abbey and Joe left, because they suck. Abbey was being a real jerk too. I wish she could just grow up and realize that she won't die if she doesn't walk around outside in the cold with Joe for hours on end.

Man, I really need to crack down on my art skills. I've decided that I don't like how I did Maaya-tan. (Maya, whatever. I still call him Maaya-tan, I'll probably never stop.) So I've vowed to keep drawing him until I master his face! YES, HIS LOVELY FACE. He's so odd. But lovable.

So expect to see a lot of crappy drawings of him, until I win the competition against myself.

Everyone should go check out Kakashette. Seriously, her gallery is the shit. All of her stuff is amazing. ALL OF IT. She can draw Maaya-tan like a WIZARD!!! A PINBALL WIZARD.

Mebbe. But she does a wicked job at everything, so I had to pimp it up on my journal.

I took some new pictures. You should look at those too. Because they were hard work. What with dying my hair, and doing my make up, and dressing myself. And making a stupid pink wig and headdress, and all that jazz.

Mana costume is almost done. Like so close, the dress is together. I need to make the tulle overskirt, and add the lace panels. And after that, all I need to do is the train, and the wig. If I can find money and the hair, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
