My 20 Facts:

1. I take really long, really hot showers. It can be really relaxing in the evenings, and really awakening in the mornings.

2. I like working with my hands. When I get stressed, I build things or work on things. I often fidget with things without actively being aware of it.

3. I have an OCD in which I have to stack all my papers perfectly straight. They can't be in a pile, they have to be neatly stacked. When it comes to teaching, they also have to have paperclips. I have a feeling I drove the teacher I worked with insane with my ridiculous paperclip consumption.

4. As much as I detest driving in this town, I really enjoy a good drive. I like going out into the middle of nowhere on the bike, or even the car. It's where I often do my thinking.

5. I've never had a romantic relationship that continuously lasted more than three months.

6. I don't normally work in advance. I usually wait until I'm pressured, a couple of days before it's due. Usually, I get an A on the papers done at the last minute. Almost all of the papers I've typed well in advance...sucked.

7. About half the shirts I own, or more, have a Sherwin-Williams logo, a logo for a product sold by Sherwin-Williams, or the logo of a completed Sherwin-Williams jobsite on them.

8. If I'm home, and nobody else is here, I'm most likely not wearing pants. Hate 'em. Shorts are okay, but I seldom wear them outside the house. TMI? Probably.

9. I've recently discovered that I seem to like baking. Must have something to do with working with my hands.

10. I'm pretty introverted, but I can socialize and connect with most people very easily.

11. I enjoy being cool, around 67 degrees or so inside, but I despise being COLD. I also hate being warm, like 76 degrees or so inside, but prefer HOT weather to cold.

12. The Price is Right used to be a guilty pleasure of mine, now it's [adult swim], anime in particular.

13. I am extremely shy around women I like. If I don't talk to you or seem distant...now you know why. That all changes over a computer. The intimidation factor is much less.

14. I've no idea why, but I Q-tip my ears every day. And I always look at the tips, for some reason...even though the idea disgusts me. It's like watching a train wreck...

15. I tend to overthink things to a fault. Sometimes the simplest thing will worry me to no end.

16. I also tend to plan for the worst. Some people call that pessimism, I prefer to say that I'm easily pleased when things don't go horribly.

17. One of my favorite types of music is punk. It ranges from pop-mall punk like Blink-182, to the Buzzcocks and the Dead Kennedys. However, I can't stand it if it sounds pre-packaged or fake. Some people will say "ahem" about the Blink 182 reference after saying that...

18. It often frustrates me that I'm not a very artistic person by conventional means. However, I consider the things that I build with my hands, such as my bike, my computer, my car, as a form of artistic expression, in a sense.

19. I REALLY am not a morning person. AT ALL. EVER.

20. I can literally spend several hours doing nothing but getting lost in Wikipedia. I'll look up an article that I want to know about, then I wind up clicking links all over the place and before I know it, it's two in the morning and I have fifteen Firefox windows open. That's right, windows...21 could be that I hate tabs in Firefox, I suppose...
