I'll probably make a new website layout soon, as Rob wants to bring back Animov, and I think that's a good idea, and a good excuse to renovate Mt. I got some more photos of the beach today, but unlike last November, the sun didn't set over the ocean -- it set over the land instead. It served to remind me of the changing orientation of the planet and of planetary-scale physics.
Masako apparently is being interviewed by a cosplay magazine, and they've asked her to send in photos. So I spent all of yesterday doing that, and came out with over 250 shots. For location, we were in San Francisco so we used Grace Cathedral and the park across the street, as well as the basement and roof of Masako's apartment building.

They were pretty happy with the photos, and so was I, so there should be at least one or two making it to deviantART soon. For the full shoot, I'll post up a link when that's online and ready.

I'm throwing up this journal as a last, desperate grab for attention before the convention. We are entering the week of the con, and it's scary. So if anyone out there reading this is near San Francisco and like anime, cartoons, or animation in general, come on over to Anime Overdose at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway at 1500 Van Ness in San Francisco. Registration is cheap and easy!

So I've decided to now focus more on design and only occaisionally submit a photo -- sort of the opposite of what I'm doing now. This won't be that big a change, as a great deal of the photos I've been submitting I think to myself "this would work great on a design!" Anyways, to accomodate this new me, I've changed my avatar from that golden god of a man, Tutankhamen, to a more designy thing.
