Well, I´m writing this to show that I am still alive :D. In my previous journal I said that I would be travelling around Europe for 2 months, in backpacking.

Ok, so, a little more than one month has already passed! I´m going crazy with all the inspiration I am getting. Now I know why you guys have it.

First of all, I'm sorry for being too distant from DA. The reason is because I am working with a friend with his digital comic book, which kills all my time. Soon I'll submit something from it!

Ok, about the Journal Title: as I told in previous journals, I'll be doing backpacking with my dear :iconSweetMingo: through Europe. We'll depart in July 16 (yeah, next week) and arrive in September, 20.

We'll start from Lisbon, Portugal and pass through Spain, France, Belgium, Nederlands, Germany, Italy, Eastern Europe...etc.

Well, this journal is just to tell that soon I'll open the commissions. I didn't open it earlier because I am doing some examples. Once I can work with both semi-realistic and mangá styles, It's interesting to do things like this. And another thing, I won't travel in these holidays, I'll keep myself home working hard.

I had an old blog, but unfortunately the main host had a system crash, having all websites going offline.

For me, this came just in time because I had plans in changing some things. So, I am restarting it again from zero. The blog will serve as a place to upload some sketches, WIPs and illustrations as well as some informal things, while I am still making the layout of the main website with my portfolio.

Well, this title means some things about what I am doing by now. Actually I'm not satisfied with my work. Especially the colours. There is something still missing. So, I'll return to the beginning and train harder to get better in that. It's like passing to another further step.

What I mean is, I know the colours theory and I know how they work, but there is still something missing. I guess I kinda know what it is.

The other thing is that I'll try some job in comics industry as colourist. I'm in need of money and I must save cash for a travel to Europe that I wish to do next year :D.

Pois é, aqui em Fortaleza ocorreu o SANA 10 cujo último dia foi ontem, domingo 18/07. O que dizer? Tivemos finalmente uma sala para o pessoal do Deviantart e desenhistas e que foi muito legal. Realmente, superou minhas expectativas, com salas cheias, ultrapassando 30 pessoas em alguns momentos.

Contamos com atividades livres para o pessoal desenhar e trocar ideias, workshops, palestras, etc. Acredito eu que todos os que compareceram à sala, gostaram, afinal conseguimos reunir uma galera legal.

And last week... no, the last weeks, were like a hell to me. In truth I arrived from my "vacations" on Jan 17. But I started everything in 18th. What more to say? There's lot of work to do, specially in my own projects and my website. There wouldn't be any resting time anymore. My war has started, and 2010 started in this week for me.

On these days, I'll be travelling to the city where my father is living as well as his relatives (here in Brazil). Well, for 15 years that I didn't go there, so the expectative is great. My father hasn't seen me for 6-7 years...

Well I'll get directly to the point: I'm in a great doubt.

I had in my plans for 2009, to upgrade my account here in DA. 2009 is almost in the end, but finally I can do it. My doubt is: should I do it now, even almost in mid-December or should I wait for January 2010 to do it?

Yeah, that's it my friends. Finally, as I promised, my personal website is online. It is a reopening from my previous blog which was only in Portuguese.

Now in a .com domain I was able to make it multilanguage too, for you, English speakers.

It contains information about my personal projects, comic strips, illustrations, online comics (yeah, they will be produced more often), texts, information, tutorials, and so on.

The website is a decision that I made while ago: to work and battle hard for my own projects, from zero.

Man, I just realized that I haven't update this journal for almost one month! Sorry for that for those 5 (?) who really watch me! :lol:

Well, at least I have some news. On these days, I've been thinking a lot about me and my work (as usual) and I got some conclusions:

I am the type of person who likes to create, I am talking about creating my own projects. All of those who accompany me know about those projects. What I am saying is: I decided to go along with that, focusing on it and only on it. I know that I can do it. That's real clear for me now.

As I said in my last journal of my previous account :iconroalmeh: I finally decided to move on to a new account. The reasons? There were too many, but the main one is because I wish to start everything from zero, or at least, almost it.

I've taken some decisions too. Now I will only add those who kept watching me for real. Those who gave me precious feedbacks (and still give) from the previous account and of course, those artists who I do admire for real.
