Have I even posted here that I'm living in my first apartment? That happened... like three months ago now... orz

On the art tip, my tablet pen is still fuckbusted. Dad did order me a new one (he said he'd get me a new one for my 21st birthday after the eraser end broke... then for Christmas... and now I'm 22), so I should have that soon enough. In the meantime I've actually been doodling a lot lately. Sketching a ton. Practicing anatomy, largely, because I suck so hard at it. And I still do, haha, but at least I'm getting a smidgen less atrocious with muscles. (Occasionally my men actually look like men, now! Wowies!)

But otherwise, I'm just workin' and sleepin'. Just thought I'd let you all know-

I know it probably seemed on numerous occasions that I'm some sort of horrible emotional tartarus, but I assure you that is not the case. (BTW, not the P3 Tartarus, tyvm.)

But... I'm seeing things about my (former) classmates all gearing up to go back, and new recruits ready and thrilled to jump on ship, and... god, it's just so depressing. Instead, what am I going to do? Instead of draw and be happy and be loved? Find some job I hate in a town I hate where I have no friends. Seriously. I hate Augusta. It's pig disgusting. And all of my friends are off somewhere else. And I get lonely really easily. I'm prepared to cry a lot in the coming year.

God, I've barely drawn in the last couple weeks. Maybe a couple doodles with my tablet. NOTHING traditional. All summer. I just haven't had the time! A forty hour work week, then when I get home, I have no privacy or space, since we have family staying with (overrunning) us. I get home around six, then dinner is already made, so I don't even have time to settle down and get situated, and then after that... there's like no day left. It's bull. I'm miserable. This has been the worst summer of my life in so many ways.

And now I'm looking at everyone's stuff and they're just so good, and you've all been drawing, I can tell, and I just haven't...

Ah, well... I'm done moping.

I ordered the Persona 3 artbook! That's something to look forward to. Can't find the MC figure anywhere anymore, though, so I'm bummed about that. Still have to play FES. Still have to finish Nocturne. Yes yes.

So I didn't make it through my first year at JKS. I failed due to my own timing incompetence, and that killed me for a while. I bawled harder than I have in a long time, and was completely miserable. But it's okay now; I'm not disheartened. I may go back to repeat first year, I may just come back here to live and work. I was offered a tattoo apprenticeship by one of my classmates, which is mf BALLER, son. We'll have to see how all of that plays out.

But in the meantime, summer. Almost everyone has left already, and that's so sad! But I want everyone I've met this year to know that you are all amazing. You're all so cool, so awesome, so talented. I feel so lucky for meeting you all. You're great people, and I will be beyond devastated if I don't keep in touch with you all! So be sure to text me or im me or hell, penpal my ass. I finally email toyslogic about my L nendoroid that I've yet to get, and they said it was all shipped and dandy and sent me a tracking code. So I use the code and it tells me that it's been dropped off (on Dec. 20, no less) at a post office thirty miles away. What the fuck! There's one two miles away! How the hell can I possibly get that? Ugh! I've gotta call them tomorrow. I never even got the slip in the mail; it probably got lost at the guys' house. I have to bitch at them tomorrow. I never get my Game Informers, either, and I'd like to know where they all go.

On another note, Final God Brahman kicked my damn ass. The first time I played was a test run, trying to figure out his attacks and all that, so I wasn't upset when I got my ass kicked. (I got to his final form, but then I ran out of healing items. I was too lazy to go back to the Mad Mart beforehand. SRS BSNESS, U GAIZ.) Anyway. Second try I equipped all my elemental drains, so the battle was pretty damn easy. I get to his fifth and final form, and all is still going great. Haven't ko'd a character yet; haven't even had to switch out my main party. My HP is full. His HP is in the red. Then he unleashes some attack... the title was just a bunch of letters and numbers, if I recall, like a computer error. This fuckbitch wipes out all three of my characters at once. WHAT. THE. FUCK. How the hell am I supposed to possibly withstand an attack that does 800-900 damage to each of my characters, when any of them only has 700 HP? WHAT THE HELL! I was not amused.

Also I'm still behind on shit and this is the last week of the semester. HOSHI... Wish me so much luck and perseverance and art skillz and bunny-quick speed! Or else I'll die.

Digital Devil Saga is officially my favorite game. (Sorry, FFVII! You never made me cry [X did, though.]) I still haven't completely finished it, but I was watching one of the cutscenes (one I had already seen before, mind you,) and almost started crying. It's so sad...! I'm actually freaking stuck right now. At the boss in the Airport directly before REALLY JAW-DROPPING SAD THINGS HAPPEN a cutscene. My mouth was hanging open like whoa.

I've been madly swimming through google looking for merch, and have come to the conclusion that THERE ISN'T ANY. ANYWHERE. There's the two games, the 4 disc soundtrack, a fanbook, and the Japanese guide, which has different covers AND I WANT THE CIELO ONE (I believe they're all the same book anyway)(but I don't have money and am not sure if I could order of Amazon Japan anyway...)(But hey, Christmas is coming up, amirite?)

'S no fair! There's figures for P3 and Devil Summoner (which I DO WANT as well), so why not DDS? I would buy them all. I would buy them and shove them down my shirt and purr. (???) I finded a piccu of an Argilla figure someone must've made themself, and it looks really nice. On a more or less related note, Alyssa got her scanner hooked up, so maybe I can put some work up finally? It's only 8.5 x 11 or so, though, and considering the majority of our work has been 10 x 15 or larger... might not work out so hot. I really need to get a memory card for my camera so I can get those pictures. I guess I could submit my L/cupcake comp... and my zombiefuck picture... though now that I think about it, it could get deleted. I have... probably a third or fouth left of SMT: Digital Devil Saga, and it is now one of my favorite games. However, I know it is part 1 of 2, and ends kinda abruptly. Now the problem is that our store does not have 2. Well, we do, but it has no cover art or insert, and that's just lame. The Portland mall stores have it, as well as Auburn, but I'm not going that way! I quit my job in two weeks, so I need to get it before then. Because we sell it new for $30. With my discount, that's $20something. Like, $25. Online... it's 36 on amazon, not incl. shipping. Lame! What's really crazy is how much DDS1 is. Like, $84 for used. That's the cheapest one. That's crazy! I got mine for $40, not including my discounts! Wow. I'm really, REALLY glad I bought it when I did. Chances are I'll never get my hands on a copy of SMT: Nocturne. That's $80. Wow. Of course, that DDS2 I think might be the LE box... but still. (Mine doesn't have an insert though. Poo.)

Anyway, I would totally recommend DDS to everyone who likes RPGs or strange sci-fi weirdness or white boys with blue hair and Jamacian accents (Cielo's voice still confuses me), but again, it's an expensive motherfucker. If you can wing it, though, DO! I love that game. I just have to finish it in the next two days, because SMT: Persona 3 comes out then. Not that I've finished Persona 2... (which, while we're on the topic, I got more or less new for $30 sans discounts. Amazon has it for $50 used. Thank god for Gamestop!) I wish Shin Megami Tensei games were less rare, so they'd be cheaper. Also because everyone ever needs to be exposed to Kazuma Kaneko's art. It's so... awesome. I sound stupid, but it's lovely. That's why I bought Persona 2 in the first place, knowing nothing about it. Because I liked Maya's boobie hearts on the cover. Which I need to finish playing, because I know it's a good game, it's just harder for me to get into PS1 games anymore. They're harder to play, plus, I'm a little too dumb to remember everything in the rumor and fighting systems. But now that I know what Zio and Zan and Bufu and all that jazz means, maybe it'll be easier...? Maybe.

I should draw some fanart. Yes, defenitely. I love Argilla/Jinana. Or maybe just some Serph, or something? Whatever. Blah. I, not looking particularly closely, assumed they had already charged me at the time of shipping or whenever, like EVERYONE else does. But no. So I get charged at a time when I don't have enough money. And I don't know this, and think I still have a little, so I go off and do like, four more purchases, so my $2 in the hole turns into $35, turns into $68, turns into $101... you see where this is going. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I'm so fucking screwed. Fuck. Why can't I hold onto money? Fuck! I can't ask mom for help, because she gave me $200 after the last time this happened so it wouldn't happen again. And somehow I managed to eat away at that slowly... fuck. Fuck me. Fuck. She's going to fucking rip me a new asshole. I'm fucking screwed. Fuck. What the fuck am I going to do with myself? Luckily, all of my online purchases have been sent and charged (I HOPE, jeezus christ... Pray to god) so there won't be any more nasty surprises like this... but... shit. I just did three transactions, too. Am I gonna get fucked a hundred more bucks for this? Shit... I don't even have the money in my savings to cover this... fuck.

Zettai Fukuji Meirei- Absolute Obedience... I only got three hours of sleep last night because I stayed up so late getting the perfect ending...

The fangirl in me is like "ZOMG THEY LOVES EACH OTHER" and the gamer in me is like "ZOMG I GOT AN S-RANK!!" I find that to be a fairly good summary of me as a whole.

I... am terrible.

But, really, this game is super super super fun. If you are a pervert, don't mind seeing anime boy genetalia, and have a spare forty-something dollars floating around, I highly recommend it. If nothing else, it's good for covering your mouth in shame and laughing hysterically at the patheticness of it all for a couple solid straight hours.

(Note: I'm not catholic) So then we go and drop me off at work (which I think is 12:45), and Laura tells me I don't work till 3. SON OF A BITCH. So I woke up and all that for nothing! And now I'm just sitting at Bob's house for two hours waiting. Jeez.

Speaking of which, if anyone is fond of yaoi smut (as, yanno, most of my friends are), then I recommend a manga I just got. Lies and Kisses by Masara Minase. It's beautiful, it's hot, it's well written, well drawn, and well translated. I will warn you, though... it has brosex, and that made me feel a little dirty. But if you can put that aside, or you just don't care... then... you know... go read it. It's really nice. I have Minase-san's other manga- Empty Heart: False Love- coming in the mail soon. Hope it's as good! And sexy! And... mantastic!

Does anyone think getting the words "ominous communication" somewhere in it would be sad and tacky? It isn't completely meaningless. That part of the song... where he says that... makes me want to cry. Cry and scream and idk... ascend, or some shit. Also the entire song KODOU, but that doesn't sound as cute and concise as "ominous communication". Plus, I don't like a lot of meaning behind my designs. That circular thing means nothing to me.

On a slightly related note, that scratch on my chest... WAS ALL ME. Kekeke... and it was a great excuse to use my heart shaped rainbow stripe bandaids.
