I've seen several comments mentioning that I do not make artist comments or respond much -

I just wanted to say that I appreciate all comments and responses and views!

At one point I thought I could comment back and participate more here - but it is just too time consuming. I paint every day, only post the paintings here that I need to set up as prints, sell my work all over, ship paintings out daily, paperwork, etc., and am a single parent of 3 kids.
To say I am busy, is an understatement!

So, my sincerest apologies that I do not have time to participate more. I think this community and the feedback artists get here is fabulous.

Someday perhaps, when I am not so bogged down and those darned kids grow up....

Roz

Whoa - logged on to LOTS of comments!

Thank you folks, it is appreciated!

Let's see if I can answer questions here -
I paint in oils only, on stretched canvas generally.

Someone asked - what's with all the cows? well...I lived on a ranch for a year and was surprised at how this city girl loved the cows and chickens. Of course, being a city-girl - they seemed like messy giant pets instead of how real ranchers think of them. I found them fun to paint with thick impressionistic strokes, trying to show movement (and with the cows especially - character). I love painting them, and luckily for me they have found an audience - so I get to make a living at it.

The Leap series is fairly new, but I am enjoying it immensely. Again - it is about movement and a 'feeling'. The fearless faith of children is just inspiring.

Thanks again for all the wonderful comments and the DD!
