Every time I cruise on DA looking for cartoon characters I always get flooded with Naked, with detail, furries. Stinkin' internet. I just want clean 'toons to draw inspiration from. This is just a stupid internet complaint, but still. I mean I know there's lotsa pervs here.. but I swear like, everytime I click someone's icon that looks good..or follow someone's favorites or whatever there's a good 95% chance that it's some naked furry porn stuffs. Well at least (most of the time) it's covered by an adult filter..but whatever. The fetishes are really bizarre as well..


I do have some "furry" characters tho. I should prolly just call them Anthro. But, hey, whatever. Just because I have some cartoon animals doesn't mean I am a furry. It sucks when someone sees the first 2 or whatever pics in the gallery and says something to the effect of "I hate Furries." ... and I'm like, "Dude..I am not a furry..." and they're like, "whatever you totally are.."

Also., I don't believe I am attracted (sexually) by anything that is drawn. Humans, furries, robots, whatever they're drawn not real..so wtf? Some image may catch my eye, and I find certain things to be visually appealing, but wth people wth?

The little Cable that hooks up to the positive side of my Battery is really frayed. Every now and then I have to unscrew the cable and re adjust it to get energy from my battery...

The thing is, I have to get someone to Jump me..or I just use my key on my roomate's car. I was just in my car for like, 20 minutes with it running and Everythg. I turned it off then tried starting it again. DEAD. SO I started the process all over again..but this time I spent about 30 minutes in my car with it running... Turned it off. tried to start it again. DEAD.

Stupid Car.


UPDATE: it was the thing that connects to the node.. not the wire itself. Easiest and Cheapest fix that I ever had the opportunity to mess with. it was like $4. Car is Working now.. Also I checked up on a door handle..it's over 40 bucks...so I'm like "nah..I'll just wiggle in through the window Like always." lol.

That last sentence is an exaggeration.. I don't wiggle through the window.. but it was over $40..

The weird thing was Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and Image weren't even there.

I didn't get to go to any panels because the crew and I were trying to Sell as many "Scarlet Veronica" books, t-shirts, Posters, and buttons as we could. We did an Interview for uFragTV.. if you're interested you can check it out at --> [link] around the 18 minute mark... We sold a lot. maybe it was the free candy...And Sarah aka , Jessica aka , and Meg aka were actually doing most of the selling.

I was also looking at all the cool artists and stuff to buy. Artist Alley was the place to be!!! It was PACKED! Alvin Lee, Chamba, lots and lots of guys! I was talking to some of the artists and they all pretty much said that this was their busiest year ever. So I guess it was a blessing that those publishers weren't there this year.

We met a lot of cool people. Went out with our Publishers (Ape Entertainment) for some REAL Chicago style stuffed pizza. Best pizza on the planet. Talked shop. ya know the usual. We were going to go to Mexican the night before at some place called Maria's... but GPS and Google got us lost. We did Eventually Find this place, but we were really late.

We even had fun outside of the convention center. It happens when you pack six goofballs together I guess. heh. There was a point or two where we got lost. Also Justin AKA 's GPS was trying to kill us.

The Drive Home kinda Sucked. It took us over an hour and a half JUST to get out of Chicago itself...and we left Early. We left at about 1:30pm-ish... I didn't get home 'till 10:30pm... The Traffic was horrible. I mean there was a one hour time zone jump...but it took forever.

But, other than that we had a great time!

Today was "the suck" at work. Some of the people I work with just suck. All I ask is a mediocre to Average day of work. Is that too much to ask? I'm not asking anyone to be overly exceptional or superb. Just please do something of significance toward your Job and Stop dumping it all on us. Here is a list of simple things that you morning people can do to make me hate my job less.

1. Pull out-dates and nasty lookin' stuff out to be thrown away.

2. Stock the case. If we are out of something, replace it.

3. Keep up the chicken. Do not put new sauce on old stuff and claim it to be "new". It's still old and nasty, so quit doing that.

4. Take your breaks when you are supposed to. That means 1.5- 2 hours into your shift, take your first break. 4-5 hours into your shift, take your lunch. Then 1.5-2 hours After your lunch take your last break.

5. Stop disappearing, for extended periods of time. Also Lay off the cell phones.

6. If you see a customer, and you're not doing anything, Help the customer.

That's it. That's my list. If you guys would just follow that, the tensions between the shifts would lighten up, I think. Life would be easier and everyone would get along.

I got the red ring o'death, just now. Luckily for me, It will cost nothing to fix. I thought I'd be sort of safe from it seeing as I got the limited Halo 3 edition console, but oh well. The roomate has an xbox 360... and I got ma Wii...Dreamcast..nes/snes, and genesis to play stuff on. Oh yeah, roomate also has a ps3... not that we ever use it for games...lol

Other than that nothing much going on. Played me a lot of Outrun today... and Downloaded the new update for Left4Dead. Oh our router decided to go kaput... So Schertz (room mate)went out and bought one. So that's one issue fixed..

Y'know there isn't a whole lot of people on the "OMFG I Frikin' HATE YOU" list. But let me tell you about one of them.

Our lovely manager Barb is a total bastich. She is overzealous, and no one like her. I understand about doing your job, but she takes it to the extreme. She's very abrasive and likes to get in your face, even when you're not doing anything wrong.

One of the Core beliefs of the company I work for is "respect for the individual" yeah, she ain't got that. I think perhaps she gets off on getting people in trouble. Ever since she came to our store, it's been nothing but strife...She also wants to bite people and throw them in the basement. ( Animaniacs ref lol [link]

Well I guess I should maybe draw some sonic stuff again. Most of the stuff in this gallery is Pretty old. Well the Sonic Stuff is.. Maybe I'll draw up something this week or so. Speaking of sonic, I booted up my "sonic unleashed" and it had an update that killed my save file!! FFFF!!!

I DO have this one commish that's been giving me problems.. I can't Figger out how to make the two characters into anthros without really messing them up... BUT I WILL TRY!! lol I said "Figger"..

"Did you know that House of Heroes is playing over at Skully's tonight?!"
Which I was like... "ok."
And he was like " you wanna go?"

So I went! Skully's was alright. It's kind of a bar/Diner/concert stage. The Bathroom sucked. The place smelled quite a lot like booze, But I had a good time, even though I kind of got separated from my group.

House of Heroes is one of the best bands ever. And I guess they originate from Columbus Ohio...like me. I bought the new CD. Just because I haven't yet. and it was only $10.

They played some stuff from their old album, and some stuff from their new album and a few Beatles covers from an EP that's coming out this summer. They even had two, count 'em two Encores. So Now I'm all revved, and thought I'd tell youse guys about it.

Well After that I went Grocery shopping for like twenty minutes. I ran through the store. There was some kid dressed up in a black hoodie, batman mask, and yellow batman boxers(on the outside) going around saying "I'm Batman". He was trying really hard to sound like bale. I was laughing my butt off at that.

Also at the store, they were having some kinda "Twilight" event.... I came around the corner and said "BELLA DIES...and Stays dead" ..just to mess with the people.

And this was how my day went.

A question rises. "Who watches the Watchmen?" The answer is "me.". Film is good. Action. Lots of twists. Only complaint is extended sex scene, also a lot of Manhattan's genitals. Costumes are great. Great shots all around. Snyder hits it. on head. Not for kids.

Nixon is played very well by actor. He's corrupt. The cold war is one of the main focuses of film. America's Distrust of Russia, very apparent. A conspiracy brews. People get set up. Character histories are told to make, care.

Film is very close to book. Some things omitted, for sake of clarity. But erased items are negligible. Some gratuitous violence. Ending is different. Not spoiling it.

RUGDOG:

1. Style- Hmmm what should I say about my style. Well I have more than one, and I also try to amalgam ~jamce 's style sometimes, because well we work together quite a bit. AS for my Original characters, I am influenced by all kindsa stuff. Anime, Old Warner Bros. cartoons, Comics...Various other things. I'd say it's a distinctive style, but I have like 5 different styles I'm working on here. I'm sure you guys can tell when something is drawn by me and when it isn't. I'm still trying to improve as much as possible. I am Vegeta to ~jamce 's Goku.

2. Animated- I Try to make my stuff full of life. I do have a slight problem with making people just kinda standing around, but I'm workin' on it. I love doing various expressions, and situations. My expressions are pretty good I think. I'm sure you guys will let me know if they're not up to snuff. I encourage anyone to give me some constructive criticism, when and where applicable.

3. Creativity- I try to be as Original as possible. I do draw from some of my influences, but the end product is always something neat. All of the properties that we have are The fruit of that. I am almost always learning, and creating weird stuff. Even my doodles may eventually evolve into something great, if I come up with an idea for it.

4. Originality- Again, I try to be as Original as possible. I do draw fanart quite a bit, but I Have a certain affinity to the original stuff that I do. A lot of heart goes into most of my stuff. Lots of sweat gets spent on late nights coming up with a premise for the characters I create. I almost Always have story lines and character ideas running through my head. My job is pretty monotonous so That probably helps. Again I am very influenced by a lot of stuff from the outside. Maybe influence isn't the right term..inspired probably. An other factor that drives me to be original is fan-characters. I have nothing against fan-characters, but I would rather spend the time and energy creating something new. (plus there's just too many freakin' Sonic hedgehog clones..lol)

5. Inspiring (?)- I'm actually not sure I've ever really inspired anyone,But I do hope that my stuff gets kids to start drawing...and continue to do so. You only get better with practice. So if my stuff inspires you then that's cool, but please pick up a pencil and start drawing..or writing..or sculpting or something.

I've had a re-accruing dream that I'm in a movie theater and my teeth start to fall out...

Another re-accruing dream is one where I get under my Mom's house into some kind of sub-basement that has all kinds of tunnels and mazes.



I have had "Credits" in my dreams before... has this happened to anyone ???

heres a weird one for ya:

I'm at my mom's house and it's night time. She lives out in the boonies...so there's a huge field out there. Anyway we're just sitting on the back porch visiting. The Suddenly out of no where this light in the sky starts moving vary erratically... It turns out to be a UFO.

Said UFO crashes in the field behind the house. And within 2 minutes there's like 50 something choppers hovering over the field and Guys are dropping down on their lines. At that point (like a movie) I could see them gearing up and making their drops. And then the camera zooms back to Mom, My brother, and I. we decide to Hide under the porch.

The Next thing I know we're all being escorted by these military dudes via gunpoint.
And then I woke up...

ok I like this game, is that wrong? (Could do without Chip though)


First off the Werehog levels aren't that bad. I was expecting them to suck... They do not. I haven't got too far in the game, and the Ice level is kicking my butt. However it's still very fun, and the Speed is insane. The Hedgehog engine is nice! I have yet to get a Camera Death!

Camera death= A death due to a stupid camera angle, or the camera either not keeping up with sonic, or zooming in/out at inappropriate times. Sonic 06 was riddled with Camera deaths.

I also like the fact that it is not on rails like "Sonic and the secret rings". Sonic Eats Hotdogs and Chili-dogs!! You can raise stats on both versions of sonic as you buy more foods, and defeat more enemies. Multiple paths, shortcuts and good old fashioned platforming are all done rather well in this thing. And, for you purist out there, you can flip between japanese/English voices.


I'd say this is prolly the best 3d sonic in a while. It's basically "Sonic Adventure 3"..Minus all the extra characters. This time the Focus is on Sonic. The Story is a typical sonic one, meaning it's pretty light... I won't spoil it for ya though.

So Far I'm having a great time with it. My only real compliant so far is you have to collect coins to get to the next level. They have day coins and night coins. It does encourage you to explore both the normal levels and the hub worlds though.

I'm not goin' to leave a score on it just yet..But For a sonic fan, like myself it's a nice shot in the arm.

that is to say, it's a good game.

OK Well, let me start off by saying this was a bad idea. That said, I have to say, the game is quite fun.

The Characters represented in this game are pretty truthfull to their respective Mythologies. Both Mortal Kombatants and The heroes/villians from DC are done well, except in the cinematics. The cinematics in "Story Mode" are actually pretty dang ugly, while the characters in "Fight" mode are way better looking. It's not often that the cinematics look worse than the actual gameplay, but it's true in this case. Liu Kang's face is pretty smashed up, and some of the animations are weird. Graphical issues (such as Batman's Bicept changing size) are all over this thing. The graphics feel pretty rushed.

Also They do A LOT of pointing before each match. The Animation Between rounds and before rounds is very limited. Story mode is basically this: Darksied and Shao Kahn Have Merged (and become Dark Kahn) due to a teleportation incident and it is causing the two worlds of MK And DC to merge. Also, there's a "Rage" Energy that is affecting both sides.

There are some interesting conflicts between dc and mk people, but it's pretty light on the writing. There's none. A three year old could write better senarios. Also the voice actors kinda suck. They All sound ok I guess, except Catwoman, and Green Lantern. Also they decided to change some of the design on the DC side. Green lantern Now has an Armor like suit, and Batman has weird Lines on his suit. ALL of the MK characters look Really good though, I mean Minus the cinematic versions.

The Gameplay itself is pretty solid. The animations while fighting are way smoother than previous incarnations. My only issue with Mortal Kombat as a whole, is Everyone is whore-y and cheap. Which works for this title, but I'd prefer an actual balance. Everybody's Moves are simple enough to pull off. And some of them I think they just kinda made up. ( Lex Luthor has a Sumo Hand slap, Wonderwoman's spin kick thing) I also do not like the multiple button combos that take forever to type in. But Overall I think they did pretty good. And yes the Fatalities are tamed down considerably, But I can hardly ever pull them off anyway lol.

They Need more variety and more characters would be nice.

The game is worth a rent tho, so check it out.
