Dark Knight was good, but it had its issues. Like almost everyone, I thought The Joker stole the show. Batman was pretty insignificant, Two Face was good but his transformation seemed forced and unnatural, as did Rachel's mix into the love thing.<br /><br />And now...Dark Knight Rises. It was kinda gross watching Garfield and Stone like freaking having EYE-SEX on the screen. And I know that after ever scene they filmed, they ran straight for one of their private trailers and snogged for like 2 hours, including any other rated XXX stuff they did. Ew. No point really in mentioning who, but I will say she was there from the very beginning for me, peppered throughout my early memories.<br /><br />Death has always been a thing that I kinda take in...alone. I remember when another extended family member passed away. I didn't really have any words, I just kinda went into contemplative thought. I also wrote a journal entry. The feeling was so awesome...walking into one of these game arcades in a mall with a pocket of quarters and stretching out the enjoyment as long as you could.<br /><br />I used to dream of having my own arcade in my house. Now almost everyone has one in their house -- it's called an XBOX or PS3 or Wii. But guess what? I don't have any of those game consoles.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ I love Photoshop too, don't get me wrong, but WOW does Painter shorten the leash between traditional art and digital art!<br /><br />When I draw with Photoshop, I feel like I am handicapped cuz the brush control is crap. With Painter, if you find the right brushes, you are GOLD!<br />My favorite brushes for lineart:<br />Pencil - Thick and Thin Pencil<br />Calligraphy - Dry Ink<br />Eraser - Flat Eraser<br /><br />For coloring, Photoshop is excellent, but now that I found a nice color brush for Painter, I am set. I strongly recommend Rob's Brushes (http://www.ethereality.info/ethereality_website/goodies/goodies.htm), and use "Rob's Basic").<br /><br />Of course, a combination of the two  ]]></media:text>

And no, I did not hate the movie cuz of that.<br /><br />SPOILER ALERT<br /><br />1. Prime's trailer transformation -- sweet. Nice wow moment.<br />2. Lots of humor / attempted humor in the first 1/3 of the movie. Not bad, it warms up the audience nicely, I can't complain with that. But the 2 little transformers didn't get a single laugh out of me.<br />3. The model is somewhat nice to look at. Moderate acting, better than Shia.<br />4. Well, SW The Old Republic is almost coming out, and its CG animated shorts are nothing short of technically amazing. That's a caveat actually. Technically amazing. I wondered immediately if he/she's the one that's been keeping me company, running by my window and climbing up and down the fire escape ladder. Then again they usually climb perfectly vertical trees easily so I guess it's not a big deal.<br /><br />There was another squirrel that was so busy digging and jamming his head into the little hole he had created.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ FINISHED animating my latest animation. SEVEN MINUTES THIRTY SECONDS. Doesn't sound like long but it's a lifetime when you're animating...<br /><br />No sound yet. Now I will go online to all the free audio/sfx sites and gather all the audio and then put it in, test it, etc. etc. Another good 2 to 4 weeks.<br /><br />In all this animation has been 7-8 months in the making. Seriously, it's a good year if you make 12 minutes of animation in a year! Last year I completed about 10 minutes of animation. Not bad for a first year...<br /><br />This year, hopefully I can hit 15 minutes. I have some ideas for a Star Wars animation as well as tons of my original ideas. Exciting. Great story, cg, acting, camera work, As all around.<br /><br />3D adds a whole new feel and is great, though wholly unnecessary for enjoying this pic. If anything, see it in 3d for the gimmick of it, but also see it in 2d for the full range of color (you lose some color clarity when you use the 3d glasses).<br /><br />Don't get me wrong, the 3D overall was really well done. Not overly done like some of the 3d trailers I saw. I realized that there is such a thing as "bad 3D" where it gets blurry or where your eyes can't really follow what's going on. It is really great and has so many moments. It is similar in some ways to Angela's Ashes. If you liked that one you'll definitely love this one. The way he talks about love and relationships is very moving.<br /><br />The second is Howl's Moving Castle, many of us know it as the Hayao Miyazaki animated movie, but I've always been a sucker for originals, and that was originally a little unknown novel by Diana Wynne Jones.
