That's right. It feels damn good to say that I'm finished with high school, after all these years! I will admit that I had some doubts, but I knew I could do it. It only took some determination.

I probably wouldn't have made it through high school if it wasn't for 3 people that helped me out a lot. Those people are Mrs. Berry, Mrs. Mason, and Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Smith, I know you'll be seeing this hopefully, so I'd just like to say thank you for all your support and not giving up on me. You taught me a lot of things in art and got me interested in a career that I wouldn't have even considered 3 years ago. You know I'll be updating my artwork, especially if I start doing photography as a career.

Mood: Gloomy
Listening to: System of a Down - Radio/Video

Why do I feel special?

Well, when I opened up Firefox today, and clicked on my DeviantArt bookmark tab, I got a message saying I was chosen as a winner for a free week's subscription here! I thought that was really cool and I'm real excited right now. Mainly because I've never won anything before, and I always wondered what it would be like being a subscriber. It feels great too! To anyone that was thinking about subscribing and spends a lot of time on here, it is worth getting.

Anyway..... you may wonder why my mood is set to gloomy. Well, it's a very gloomy day today. It's raining and I'm just recovering from a vicious cold. I had to miss school on Tuesday because it was so bad. That was the third day I missed this quarter. I only have two more weeks left! Well, it's supposed to be three. You see, seniors get out a week early, but it's only for GRADUATING seniors, and I was supposed to graduate this year, but some shit happened (not entirely my fault, need I remind you) and so I now have to go an extra quarter! So what I'm doing is, since I can miss seven days in a quarter, I'm going to go on Monday of that last week and not go the rest of the week. Hah!

With that out of the way, I can calm down a little bit now. And since this is the first long journal I wrote in a long time, I'm making sure this one is worth it, even though no one will probably end up reading it. *snicker*

So I checked out that new System of a Down album. It's not bad. I like it a lot, but I don't think it's as good as their previous ones. I'm really liking this one song though, Radio/Video. It's got a good beat. If you're a big fan of System of a Down, it is worth getting.

It's been a crazy week too, mainly because of E3. The site that I frequent to has been getting bombarded by thousands of guests and the server can barely handle it, so it's going slooooooow. This is somewhat a good thing though, because it gives me time to visit other sites that I haven't been to in a long time. But yeah....E3. That Nintendo Revolution looks awesome. Very slick and smooth. PS3, I'm not too impressed with, and their controller looks fugly! The X-Box 360 is meh (so-so). Nothing too special there IMO. That Zelda footage made me feel all giddy (yes, giddy). I cannot wait until that game comes out. And when I heard that Smash Bros. will be a debut game for Revolution AND it will be online? That was too much for me to handle. I just couldn't contrain myself. So many hours of my life will be wasted when that game comes out (not like I already wasted many horus of my life lol).

Yeah, and I guess Star Wars 3 comes out today, I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. Me, my friend, and a few other people are going to see that this weekend. Even though I only saw episode 4. I guess I should watch the other episodes before I go see episode 3 in theaters. That way, at least I know what's going on.

Ah, that's a lot of typing. Well, that's all for today. And thank you Deviant Art for the free week's subscription! I appreciate it a lot.

Well, an update on things.

My youngest sister (they're all older than me) had another baby. It was a girl. My oldest sister had a baby boy. They were a couple of months apart. I am now the uncle of 8 kids. Please kill me now. x_x

Yesterday, we had a dance at our school. Since we had no school today, we had it yesterday, and some people dressed up for the occasion. I, being one of them. I dressed up as Dracula. Actually, the costume didn't look half bad either. I combed my hair back, sprayed in some heavy-duty hair spray, got some vampire makeup, put on some black, dark green, and dark purple around the eyes (it came out nice), and was lucky enough to borrow my cousin's trench coat. I wouldn't have dressed up if I couldn't get the coat. I was also lucky enough to have some leather gloves in the house. The fangs that came with the kit sucked ass and looked like joke teeth, so I didn't wear them. If I had a camera with me, I would've taken a picture. I may wear it again Sunday though so I may take a picture then. I'm just going to hand out candy though.

Anyway, stuff. Stuff is good.

My sister and her boyfriend were starting shit and my mom kicked both of them out (w00t). I've been staying at my friend's house every once in a while, and I went swimming and all that good shit. Also, the worst thing that could ever happen to me, has happened to me; my Gamecube memory card got corrupt and I had to format it!!!! I'm currently working on getting most of my stuff back. The only thing I'm angry at losing is my Super Smash Bros. Melee memory. I had every trophy and kickass VS. stats. I also had some rare screen shots on there too. I had Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles almost finished. My other stuff doesn't matter as much. Other than that, meh. I got a bad headache today, which was remedied by a couple of asprins.
I should have posted this on Sunday, but I was lazy. lol

Saturday night, I went with my friend to go see the Punisher. We got there an hour and a half early, so we just walked around. We were hungry, so we got some Chinese food that filled me up. We watched some people play DDR, and we played a shitty X-Men arcade machine. We decided to blow the rest of our money on Time Crisis 2. About 10:10 PM, we went in the theater and sat down. There was only 10 people in there watching the movie, so it was nice since no one was talking (except me ^^). The movie wasn't that bad. There were some points where it seemed fake, but it wasn't so bad.

After the movie was over, we were supposed to call his mom on the pay phone to pick us up, but the mall was closed. Only the theater was open that long, so we couldn't get to the payphone. In other words, we got screwed and had to walk. At this time, it was about 12:30, I had no coat, it was chilly, and we had to walk about a mile to get to his mom's house. Ok, so we finally made it there, only to find out, his mom wasn't home and we got locked out!$$%#$>! We end up going to his grandma's house that luckily lives in the same apartment area. We called his mom and she said they were at a bar. =/ She told us the window was unlocked to just get in that way. Well, since it being an apartment building, we weren't sure which one it was. Well, I did, but my friend was too afraid of going in and it not being his apartment.

His mom eventually showed up (at this time, it's about 2:30) and we gained warmth again. And would you know it? I was right about which window it was.

The next day, I felt like someone poured a gallon of water into my brain and left my nose to drip because that's what happened all day. I got the worst cold/sinuses ever! I'm better now though...

On Friday, tragety struck our school and effected everyone there. We found out one of the students, 15 years old, died of a car wreck. Our school is small so everyone knows everyone. When I found out who it was, I was in shock. I didn't know her not even 10 weeks, then she dies? If that's not bad enough, she was only 15. Why would God take someone so young?

Well, the funeral was today and the funeral home was packed. Lots of people were there, which actually gave me a good feeling in my heart that so many people cared about her. All of the teachers were there and lots of the students were there. School was cancelled today so most of the students were at the funeral home. Our cousin Catie (well, I just now found out she's not our real cousin; long story) was the girl's half-sister (they had the same mother). When she went up to say some words, she just broke down and I started to tear too. It was very emotional.

The rest of the day, I just felt emotionless, until I went to my grandmother's house. She told me to try and move on. Things like this happen for a reason. Destiny, as they may call it. I paid my respects and it was time to move on in life. Her message got to me and moved me. I took her advise and I feel a little better.

YAY I just got back. It was fun! They had alot of pimped out cars which kinda sucked, but they had alot of muscle cars and several Hemis. They had 2 bikes from Orange County Choppers; one of them was the race car bike. Stacy Kiebler was there, but the line was HUGE, so I didn't get a chance to see her.

Last year's show had better cars, but this year wasn't that bad. They had this one car that had ninja daggers on the sides and seis and stars in the trunk. Also, there was a double-stretch limo and the motor was in the middle. It was badass!

Well, I should have the pictures developed on Wednesday. At that time, I'll scan them and submit a few.

Did anyone else happen to go or even hear about it?
For those who don't know, it was in the Cobo Hall in Detroit.

Well, my sister had her wedding yesterday, which didn't go too well.
Well, the wedding went by well, but the reception, not so well.

Here's what happened.

The groom's dad wanted to go to Applebee's so he could drink....even though he was already drinking on the way there (he didn't say that; we were going to go to Ranch, but they don't allow drinking there, so we pretty much got the hint). Well, he started brining something up to my other sister about something that happened a long time ago. They (my other sister and her boyfriend) got mad and they left and my sister and the groom started yelling and we kinda got kicked out. What I mean by kinda is they told us to hurry up and eat, then leave or the cops are gonna get called upon. Well, the groom started walking down the street and we picked him up and we sent him to his house and him and my sister talked it over. Hopefully, they got it all settled though.

This all happened because his father came in [drunk] and started causing trouble. I seriously wanted to get up and knock his ass out. We didn't even get a chance to eat any cake there or anything. Basically, the wedding [reception] was ruined, thanks to that asshole.

That was not the end of it. I stayed over at my cousin's house last night and we played a bunch of SNES games (w0rd to retro) and I got a piercing headache. It felt like I had a hangover, but worse.

Then today, I felt tired all day. Well, hopefully tomarrow won't be so bad.

Tomarrow, I am staying the night at my friend's house, then on Sunday, we'll be watching the big game on his big-ass screen TV, with HUGE surround sound speakers. They are about 4 feet high.
Well, today is Christmas Eve, and of course there's no snow outside! Today is my sister's birthday so in about 3 hours, we are going to my uncle's house to open presents and then eat some cake.
Props go to Nulliar for helping me with the text on my "mmmm blue" wallpaper. I need to look at a new angle in Photoshop. All of my work involve using gradients in some form. I don't want it that way.
