3 classes left, then finals.... then school no longer exists.... its beyond werid.... all my life i've been in school and now its gone...

been procrastinating doing my final art project, im terrified im gonna mess it up... lol

taking an art class this semester has been tons of fun, im not that great, but its almost sad that im the "best" in the class... and im the only one whos not a art major etc..... lol
makes you wonder ^_^;;;;
i'll submit all my shiny pictures once i get my hands on a scanner of sorts.

i'll be 23 on monday! so scary! im oooold..... -_-.
i need to get a job NOW. i'll be off my rents insurance on june 1st T_T

you know its been a while when i see my journal and it says "been workin on gettin to lvl 60" lol
when i now have my EPIC flying mount and have completed just about every quest except some of the heroic dungeons and some raids (kara finished, grul started... not too far in raiding)

its cool having epic gear! just not used to it lol... ^^ its nice hitting the level cap and getting somewhere in the game Woooots.... of course the new patch will be coming soon.... haha...

my brain and eyes are a bit tire from yesterdays and lmot of this week's crazy powervlevling that cccured lol i got from 55- almost 60 lol

last night i did all ov blackrock depths and spire, sooooo fast we had 3 lvl 70s in our group lol, it was crazy fast, i couldnt keep up @-@ *twitch*

now im just working on saving up my money for my epic mount that i just found out i HAVE to buy if i ever want a flying mount *cry*

i have about 200g now and need 300g more boo....

i think i've decided to skip right into the outlands now, i did a couple quests in every area just to see what those areas were like but i think if i want the money i'll have to start outlands, or do eeeevry quest in all the zones i have quests for right now... and im lazy lol. not sure what will get me the most money the fastest....

now that im back at uvm, i really wish i had just graduated last year....

I'm off to Kansas city, MO from the 11th-15 for the National soiety of women engineers (swe) conference. yeeey?

yah i'm not sure what to expect. i kno i have to dress up for the formal dinner... so now i have to go out and buy a dress -_- cuz i can't find a dress to borrow. lol, and i have to get some nice business shirts too cuz i have some nice pants, but the shirts arn't business-y enough.

yey! I cant wait to get back to school! but then i also dont want to go back as well.....

anywho....
Yestermorrow was a blast...... but then it was also crazy....
basicaly, everyday we got up at 7am and worked till 1/2am in the hot hot sun.... i got fried.....><

but, the "mobile writers cabin" that we designed and built looks amazing! SO UBERLY COOL!!! i just hope it survives all the way to its destination on shelburne farms ^^ ... there were lots of bets to whether it would survive or break.... hahhaha....

i didn't bring my camera to warren...... so i didnt get any shiny pics T_T .... but i did email people there like crazy so i could get some of the many pics they took.... and then i'll try to post them here and there ^^ i can't wait to show off the shiny we designed and built ^_______^

Hi!

It's Ryan from Northern Ireland here. I know a lot of you haven't heard from me in a long, long time. I'm truly sorry about that, although you may well say what's the point in saying sorry if you're not going to do something about it!? If I was to blame something, it would be my first year at university, but I know that's no excuse, so I plan that at least some of you will be hearing from me soon. But as this time of year comes round again, I wanted to send you all a seasonal greeting.

With all the criticism and dissent in the world today, I thought it was worth relating one of my favourite things about the USA. Northern Ireland's come such a long way since the 1970's, and life here is pretty normal, give or take. But our peculiar social cleavages are still present. In practice, what that means is you can't wave any kind of flag without infuriating someone or other. Those things which in most other societies would be a source of comradeship and civic pride have in Northern Ireland been hijacked by those who wish to exclude others and perpetuate distrust and fear. So, people like myself who don't want to take either extremist side are left culturally disenfranchised. Music, dance, colours, symbols, sports, flags and history itself are used as dividing lines, instead of what they should be: ways for all people in a country to identify with each other, find common ground and have fun and enjoy themselves together.

The United States is a massive country; there's always going to be a wide range of political, ideological and religious views expressed within her borders. I've been lucky enough to visit pretty much opposite corners of the nation and see that for myself. But regardless of where you stand on any given issue, you're privileged that you all share a common past and a common allegiance. Be proud, and be thankful that regardless of anything else, you're able to rally around the same flag, sing the same songs, and celebrate your same basic values and goals as a nation.

The incredible things achieved by individual Americans and by the nation as a whole are too numerous to begin to mention. I'm afraid that with all the critics and dissenters around today, in the USA and abroad, it might be easy to forget these things. Take some time to really think about them today. Remind yourself how proud you should be of where you come from, and most importantly, think about what you can do to make things even better in the future.

Just thought i'd write to say there will most likely i will not submit any art this summer i've tryed to save some extra time for art .. but my summer schedual has filled waaaaay up now... 7am-8pm I will now be working during the summer till the westford ditch/road inventory is done ... we are looking for volunteers to help me out now ^^ its tons of fun ^^ hehehe......
I'll also be working on the weekends if i can get volunteers on the weekend as well.

i'll be in warren vt from july 23 -aug 4th taking a course at Yestermorrow
hopefuly it will be fun... because i've had little building experience.... but they said if i could use a hammer that i'd be fine ><

anyways... i shouldnt be tooooo busy on the weekends if neeone wants to hang out with rin ;

sorry everyone that i havnt got any new art done lately.... i've been distracted by work... and of course when i get out my brain is soooo tired that i just sit in front of the TV and watch star treck tng which is my new little obsession .... yea i kno im a dork ... but i've been sucked in hahahhaa.... the episode starts and i just HAVE to kno what happens ahhaha i also havnt been really working on my wands too much.... so i'm reallly sorry to all those who reserved them... they will get done eventually .... i've been working on them on the weekends tho!

What can I say? I am an EXTREAMLY patient person, too patient. but hey, i'll wait if its worth it.

As for other updates..
I have watched all of 1-4 seasons of CSI and some of 5th.
Ill be 20 years old this Thursday..
Its also gonna be the worst b-day ever because I have an exam that evening. originaly it was on wed... but OH NO my prof has to be evil.... T_T.....

so yah i had to cancel all my plans bla bla.... ><
and because my rents wana celebrate it i'll probably have to rescedual plans i made this weekend with friends to the NEXT weekend.... but i cant DO anything that weekend be cause FINALS start and i'll have to study.... yes, just thought i'd share some of my crazy adventures to killington on friday...^_^

for those who havnt heard my grand adventure already herrrrre we go!

ok, so on friday night the whole gang of the anime suite went out to see the movie sin city at cinama 9 in shelburn (15 min from the dorms). it was great fun, the movie got out about 11:45ish

ok, so meg rachel and I were in one car and we followed katie in the other car with all the people out of the theater.

well first off, we take the wrong turn out of the theater (we didnt kno that at the time), so we were driving, and katie takes an exit off to essex, and were like, where is SHE going?! (she knew she went the wrong way so she was turning around). so thinking we were right, we didnt take the exit. soon enough tho, we ended up in richmond, and meg knew we had to turn around, so we did, but we just took the wrong turn to get on to the highway that went into burlington lol. so we were now heading towards waterbury ><.

THERE WERE NO EXITS TO TURN AROUND FOR 30 BLOODY MILES

so we got into waterbury, and werent sure what highway we were suposed to get back onto, so we figured we had to take 100 south to get back cuz they thought we had went north a bit......

so anyways were goin south... and south.... and south... no signs of ANYTHING....

well, the road split and we got off... and in front of us... there was a sign... " KILLINGTON SKI RESORT"

so i was like " do you guys kno where killinton is?! its in SOUTHERN VT 2 hrs AWAY from burlington >< " lol

aaaa twas funny ^_^ eheh gotta love meg-chan ^^

so meg called her rents when we FINNALY got a signal.
her rents didnt kno what way to go except to go the way we came.

so its like 2 am now, and were lost in killington and theres NOTHING open lol

but, we finnaly find an open inn (the gray bonnet) and go in to ask for directions.

of course we pretend we're from MAss. jsut so he doesnt think we're stupid lol >< but hes like ' well then WHY did you get off the interstate?!'
and meg was like 'its a REALLY long story.' lol

so he gives us directions back to uvm.

so at 3:14am we pull back into UVM

only to get pulled over by a cop right infront of the dorms for driving to fast back on the highway... lol

but we got off without a ticket ^^ i think he thought our story was very entertaining ^_^

im procrastinatin like usual so i'd thought id write random stuff lol

well my valintines day was kinda fun^^
i got a cute little package from these two twins i baby sat this summer, and it was full of chocolate coooookies made by them^^ lol and a little card lol it was so cute ^_^ they think im their girlfriend its so cute lol
so that made my day ^_^ i love getting surprizes in the mail ^^
then my mum stopped by and gave my some spongebob chocolate and some valintine chocolate that was sent to my house from my friends in Germany ^^
wee lots of chocolate yuuum
so yea i was hyper i got my cookies and choco so i was all set .

got more art also for the art contest its all VERy good! wooo so now we have 5 people entered >< im SOO not EVER doing this again rar rar....

so i guess im stickin with physics 42 ... i got a midterm warnin letter sayin i was in danger/already failin the class blaa blaa and i had to talke to the prof and my advisor blaa blaa

yah so i did my advisor was in spain so i had to talk to another advisor and make a desision BLA
and then i went to talk to my prof and he said if i kept gettin the 35/55 s on the rest of the tests i would pass the class with a C ish which is way awesome.... the problem is i just have to stay that hight on the next test and the final T_T

i dont care if i get a d- in that class i just wana PASS it and be done with that class forever errrrrrrrrrrr my major doesnt deal with magnetic stuff anyways grrr i wish it wasnt a reqirement.

Full metal alchemist is the most amazing anime eva! i have seen all of it now...(geez took me long enough lol i started it over a year ago o_0) except the last ep its soooo amazing.... aaaaaaaww the plot is so goood ^^
i dono why i love it so much... maybe its the chara development or the history that one slowly learns about ... and its dark pasts....oooooooooooo its sooo coooooool

There will be an art contest/show held at UVM's living and learning center put together by my program "anime as an art form"

if you are Living in Chittiden county, Vermont and are between the ages of 14-18 this contest is for you ^_^

The art is only alowed to be in an "anime/manga" style
the art will be divided into 3 parts, black/white , colored, and digitaly inhanced (photoshoped ish)
Sumit art to Me on this site if it is digitaly done, but if is not, we would like the orginal to show into the gallery (all art will be returned) soooo that means to drop it off to me at UVM or the Main Desk (please e-mail me before hand if you are gonna send it to me so that i can work something out !! ^_^ )
