Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!

Now that wasn't so bad, was it? *slapped*I finally got my wretched braces off! You know what that means?

1) No more brushing and flossing around stupid brackets!
Even after I brushed my teeth, they always looked yellow to me. I could not get the things clean.

2) I don't have to see Dr. Hopkins every month anymore.
He would always try to have conversations with me while he was working on me. Not just little yes-or-no questions, but questions that required extensive answers that always led to me doing my best to answer him with his latex-flavored hands in my mouth, making my long spiels sound like a lot of gobbeldy-gook.

3) My embouchure will go back to normal.
My clarinet playing seriously deteriorated after I got braces. Hopefully, them being off will help with my articulation.

4) I can eat all my favorite sweets again!
Just kidding. No one ever listens to their orthodontist when they tell them not to eat sticky candy. They even gave me a big bucket of all of the candies I wasn't supposed to eat.

Speaking of my embouchure, I got seventh chair in AAAA Band! I was so nervous. I nearly fainted while I was warming up. You can ask

I once shot an elephant in my pajamas. How he got in my pajamas I'll never know!

Oh, Lawdy.To put it quite lightly, this week has been hectic.

This week, I ended up having to try and figure out how I was going to go to a rehearsal at the high school and a show at Center on the Square at the same time on Thursday (today), and then find out how I would go to the high school show and the second CotS show at the same time on Saturday. To top it off, I ended up with the flu (Not H1N1. I'm too poor to get it.

) and didn't get to rehearse either show for two days!

I didn't even get the entire CotS script until yesterday (We wrote the show ourselves, and some lazy assholes took forever to turn their part in).

All in all, it turned out okay. I just got back from the first show, and it went really well! I didn't get to rehearse my part in the high school show today, but I'm confident about that one. I just hope I can run around that stage in two inch heels.

Friday's game=ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC.

We scored the winning touchdown in the last quarter and held the score until the end. We all moshed in the cadence and everyone went completely crazy when we played the last fight song. They even lifted Haley! My throat is still sore from all the yelling.

My sister-in-law-to-be just met her grandparents, and they were total poopsacks. They barely talked to her, and when they did, her grandmother tried to make excuses as to why she hasn't ever acknowledged her existence. "These things happen, you know."

Just as a bonus tidbit, my uncle, who just got out of the hospital and was told by his doctor to "take it easy", just bought a motorcycle.

Jeez, I am so ready for Drama tournament. I already know what piece I'm doing, and I'd like to do some improv with Ally but SOMEONE didn't pay her dues on time!

Therefore, I shall have to find some other peasant with which to act extemporaneously. I'm actually planning on doing storytelling, improv, and solo, so that should be interesting.

Did I say that my brother Stephen is an asshat?

Well, he is.

He decided to move to Texas permanently around three weeks after getting out of the Army. I wouldn't have had all that much of a problem with it if he had the gumption to say goodbye to all of us. My mother took it especially hard. She's done nothing but be the best mother she could be for the past twenty-one years, and all he's done is yell about how she's put him through hell, after which he would go booze his brains out with his shitbag father.

I just don't know about him.

It wouldn't affect me as much if it didn't hurt my mom.

In other news, today was a good day.

See, there was this boy who was on the trip with me that I had (HAD, mind you) liked at the beginning of the week, but by today(the day we came home [rather inconvenient])I realized I was only infatuated, but I could tell that he still liked me, and because of the way I had acted, I felt I owed it to him to act like I liked him back, but I was still so uncomfortable, and he called me to ask me out, and I said that I still liked him (LIE), but I think we were moving to fast, and I just want to be friends, so I think he still has hope, so basically I led him on like a dead dog on a leash.

So, my week could've definitely been better. Oh well! The good news is, he's basically a man whore, and he hopefully he'll be moved on before I have to see him again! Wish me luck!

Getting a blood test is the absolute worst thing on the face of the earth.

The pain was absolutely nothing. After the nurse extracted the needle. I felt so dizzy. My head felt like it would burst, I was blacking out, I couldn't see, and I threw up...twice. Then I fainted.

But hey! At least I don't have mono! And, I know that I can't possibly experience anything worse.
