Well, I don't have the patience or desire to practice with my tablet...perhaps some day, but...not today. Still, I wish I could submit pictures in color that wouldn't be ruined by my scanner T T

I wonder....if someone here might be interested in coloring my lineartz...you would get credit, of course. I'm not some jerk who passes other peoples' work off for my own. Anyway, I drew a pretty romance pic of Patches and Lera...I will say Patches dominates most of the space and detail...after all, he's my character...I know what he's supposed to look like. I saw Avatar today (the movie, not the show). It was good...but I just wish a movie could be good and not dripping with political messages...well, such is life these days.

ENOUGH WHINING! Now for news and observations...because I can.

I'm going to submit some drawings (woah, wait what!? Lizzy? Submit drawings? PSHAH!!) *slaps annoying voice in her head* I don't know if that was Light, Zexxy or Krad...who cares? I slapped him HA! Anyway........yes, I'm submitting drawings...but here I find myself not wanting to erase my pencil marks after inking it...for some reason, I think it looks good that way. It probably won't looks so good once my scanner has the chance to screw it up, but hey!

So, I've been drawing a few things here and there...but I don't feel like any of them are suitable for submission...hrm...

So, last week...I think it was last week...I was driving along to my parking lot where I would board the cat tran and ride it to the U of A...when out of nowhere, some white car pulls a left turn from the other lane and hit me in the side! They either kept going or kept turning in order to stop...but I thought they were leaving, so I got back on the road. Once I got to the parking lot, I found a huge chunk of white rubbery-metally stuff (I think it's called fiberplast *shrug*) stuck in between my tire and my hubcap. Driving back from school, I noticed a bigger piece of that white stuff on the road around where he hit me. If he hit me hard enough to do that sort of damage to his own car, I'm really lucky the car didn't roll over...I mean...it has a sharp turns = roll over warning on the underside of the sun visor...and my car didn't have any damage either...just the decorative cover for the hubcap screws got knocked off...but I'm fine! *sigh*

Something I've noticed...all the faves I've been getting recently are on my old, crappy stuff...and I mean it when I say old and crappy *blegh*

Anyway, I'm hoping I'll have something up here soon...in the meantime...just letting y'all know I'm not dead yet...

Guess what guys, yesterday was my sister’s birthday….but I had too much homework to play Qelf (sp?)….I come into school today…the teacher switches the due date to Monday just because the majority of the class didn’t bother to do the homework! *sigh* so the genius suffers (jk…I don’t call myself a genius -_- )

Here we go again:

So, I just saw a commercial just now on Nicktoons...the commercial was for the new Kingdom Hearts game for DS. I was happy...I've been wondering about that game for a while now...still, I'm going to wait a bit until the price goes down...a bit

So, Halloween's coming up (OH NO...my sister's b-day is the 1st of October...and I don't have a present...I'll get one...tomorrow, I think) and I don't know if my parents will let me trick-or-treat this year (of course, I don't have a costume)...they let me last year tho...so maybe (sounds weird cuz I'm legally an adult, but I've found that if one wants something from the parental units..and you don't have the money to move out and make your own rules, it is prudent to follow their rules).

So, I drew some stuff today...then I came home...and I made my dog sit on my brother's face...then I read ~Rakki-neko 's journal and laughed and freaked out a bit...and now I want to put off my homework...but I know I'll regret it...then again, I only have one class tomorrow........heh heh heh >3

So, yesterday, my T key fell off of my laptop! It still works(I'm using it now: TTTTT), but it's just a little rubber stub I have to press a certain way or it won't work. Today, I found a screw in my notebook...which is weird in its self. The screw came from a particularly deep hole...in my laptop. Now, how on earth would I accidentally unscrew a screw buried that deep in plastic? Answer: I wouldn't. My opinion: (again) Asus...you suck.

Maybe I can avoid stuff like this in the future by [never buying Asus] getting a little sleeve thing I can put my laptop in for when I have to take it places?

If you're going to smoke in an outdoor hallway sort of area, please go down wind.
If you're going to spry some body spray in an enclosed area, please use only ONE spray and try to get as much of it on yourself as possible so when you leave, the smell leaves.
If you are driving on the highway and there is a sign that says "ramp closed", don't drive over the gore area onto the ramp anyway.
If you are five feet from a crosswalk, do NOT bother j-walking...you just look like an idiot.
If you and your buddy are driving down a road in separate cars, do NOT stop in the middle of the road, blocking both lanes, to talk about something...PULL OVER.
If you are driving down the freeway and you see a police car, don't lower your speed to below the speed limit cuz it's suspicious and pisses the people behind you off. The speed limit means it's legal to go the speed on the sign. -_-
If you're sitting in a restaurant, don't give people who walk by weird looks as if they had no right to be there. Just because you're in a bad mood doesn't mean everyone knows it and will avoid your position just so you can wallow in self-pity without being disturbed.
If you don't like a video or piece of artwork you just saw on the internet, don't bother insulting it because no one forced you to watch/look at whatver it is that has offended you so.
If you don't like anime, don't waste your time going onto anime websites/videos/blogs just so you can comment "people who like anime are stupid!".

They also say Macs have less viruses...but Macs also have less software. As long as you've got a good firewall and you keep your subscription updated, you're fine. I'd rather have the ability to use all the software I want to use than spend my time worrying about something my virus blocker can fix.

Anyway, I got myself some "blendy pencils" I can use to make my colored pencil drawings look brighter and...well...better? It costed me $4.30 for two pencils. Don't get me wrong, I love Prismacolor...but that's $2.15 for one pencil? Wow....ah well...I'll make them last.

Anyway, I definately had more fun this year. Last year, I was still stuck in my shell...this year, I said 'screw it' and threw all my ' public shyness' out the window. I even made three con friends (I made more, but I didn't get their dev usernames): ~Viral-Phoenix, ~Rakki-neko and ~DarthMar.

Anyway, next year, I hope to go as Zelgadiss from Slayers (if I spelled his name wrong, oh boo hoo...people spell it with both one 's' and two so forgive me if I'm unsure). ~Viral-Phoenix and I hope to go together (as Zel and Xellos. Yay for pretending to hate your friends? ha ha). There is also a possiblity ~KeidaHattori will be joining us as Gourry, so that should be interesting.

What I will probably remember the most is how many times people decided it would be good fun to steal my hat. ~DarthMar was probably the record holder. I stopped counting after the first day, which ended with three or four successful hatjackings. I foiled a few, but there are some serious ninjas in crowds. My hair looked like crap (in my opinion) under my hat, so if I did not get my hate back within a few seconds, a chase would occur. The chasing wasn't all that bad, though...my costume coat billowed when I walked (or ran)...which entertained me ha ha ha.

So, I clicked update journal with a topic in mind...went and made some popcorn...then came back and realized I forgot it...neh D:

Ok, I need opinions...the sketch I submitted last...I'm afraid to ink it and I'm afraid to color it, but I don't want to leave it as is...I'm afraid if I ink it, it will ruin it because I like the look of it now...I'm afraid to color it because if I don't ink it first, the pencil might get mized in with the colored pencil and make it look muddy *pout*...I don't wanna leave it like it is because...I don't want to be done with it ha...ha ha...

Anyway...I know that what I draw is my business, but I feel like I'm boring y'all (haha) with all this Helssing-ness...it's a phase guys...it will fade = =

I don't know howe many of you have seen that...but...really? I'm disappointed...this gives girls a bad name...ah well...

Anywho, I was feeling depressed today...a project I worked very hard was giving me feelings of 'ARGH I need to do it all over again'....if anyone has tips on coating a straw hat in fabric without making it look strange (don't ask >> ) then please, give me your wisdom.
My friend said I should hide it from hyself for a few days and look at it again to have...fresh eyes (for lack of a better way to describe it)....ah well...'tis not the end of my world.

Oblivion vampires suck D8<
I became a vampire out of curiousity and the only changes I've actually noticed are my hideous old-lady face and my need to feed every 24 hours game time in order to avoid getting hurt by the sun! Blegh....

Becoming a vampire was actually fun for me tho....I hunted down a cave infested with NPC vamps and ran in there to engage in melee combat until I was infected with porphyric hemophilia (sp?)....I like fighting vampires...it's fun............maybe I'm just saying that because I need them. I jump for joy every time I find a vampire...mostly because I got kicked out of the mages guild for accidentally killing one of its members while on a quest for the thieves guild and I need 20 daedra hearts and 20 vampire dusts to get back in ) :

Once, I found a vampire lair....and it only had two vampires in it....AND one of them didn't give me any dust! Maybe it's cuz he was for the other quest I was working on and he was too cool for dust....neh....I was mad.

I'm tempted now to just go around killing people out in the open....everybody already hates me - - (I think being the leader of both the Dark Brotherhood and the Theives guild might be the reason......but that's supposed to be secret! D8 )....I bet they'd like me if I finished the main quest...and saved their dumb @$$es! Pah, if they didn't love me, I'd have to kill them >8D

Anywho, about Oblivion, I'm real proud of myself. I managed to find and join the theives guild by bribing a beggar as well as become a member of a secretie assassins' "guild" called the Dark Brotherhood....wasn't reall that hard, though. All I had to do was murder someone then sleep somewhere alone then the guy came and told me to kill some old guy in an inn....yeeaaaahhh. By the way, there's a vampire guy in one of the Dark Brotherhood sanctuaries...he gives me all my missions. He's butt-ugly, but he said that if I got good enough, he'd give me the opportunity to become a vampire too. I blame my curiousity. Anyway, au revoir.

I don't know why but I got the impression Senior year would be less intense....ya know, the senioritis and all....unfortunately, the only people who get away with having senioritis are the people who hardly do any work in the first place and could care less about their grades.
Ah well, enough complaining. Good news, I was the only person to ace the test in my Shakespeare class...my teacher found me at passing period and told me how grateful she was...and that I got 10 points higher than anyone else...that kinda boosted my ego...
Aaaaand that's enough bragging.
Like I said, my art will come, I just need to get through my schoolwork and get to scanning.

One of the Ls (one who was about two feet taller than me->LOL) got me to help him out with his skit. There were only two lights so he didn't have many options...I'm not much of a performer. I can act like a character in public, but not when I know everyone in the room is watching. We didn't win the little contest they were doing, but that was ok with me. I just felt like I let the poor guy down >>
Anyway, I thought it was cool people kept wanting to take my picture (although I really don't like cameras). I guess I'm just not used to the attention. I was once asked for an autograph but...I noticed the paper they wanted me to sign happened to be in a Death Note. I didn't sign it, that would be suicide (not that it actually kills, but it wouldn't be very Light-like of me to sign a Death Note, you know? ). That was when they pointed out the last thing printed in it...my (Light's) name in Japanese......................curses D< *shakes fist at random Ryuk plushie*
