1. What led you to write?
Fanfiction, when I was like, 13-14 years old. Was rather horrible at it, but reading books and more fan fiction helped me improve.

2. When did you start writing?
Around 13 years old, just to get my stories out, I didn’t like doing it… unlike now, when inspiration hits me everyday

3. What does writing represent in your life?
Imaginations, thoughts, ideas, whatever

4. Are you happy with your current style?
It could be better, it always seems to be changing… especially depending on the mood I’m in, or if I’m really interested in what I’m writing, usually the reader can tell this.

5. Do you do editing?
Recently, yes. I think I’m better at noticing other people’s mistakes than my own haha

6. Do you read about writing (creative writing books, grammar books...)?
No, I usually don’t think to do that. My AP English teacher gives plenty of advise


7. Favourite genre?
I pick up any book that’s won and Edgar Allen Poe Award (and they’re always good!) but, I don’t really have a favorite. It just depends on my mood. Comedy, romance, suspense…

8. Favourite author(s)?
don’t have one… I like the way Graham McNamee writes though…

9. Favourite book?
Don’t have one The Book of Dead Days by Marcus Sedgwick is pretty amazing though

10. What do you prefer to write?
Something that isn’t in the normal writing realm :/

11. Is there anything you can't write?
Vampires (cos Twilight killed any seriousness they already had to me) and I have trouble holding an audience when I write suspense… need to work on that.

I don’t think so…

I usually set down a book if it’s horrible, so I can’t pick a name for you…
However, I can say Breaking Dawn (Last book in the Twilight series) was horrid, and is in fact on my list of “Worst books ever read”

16. Why is it so bad, in your opinion?
Well… I wouldn’t say it was horribly written, I always envy people who can pull off first person well. But it was the fact that EVERYTHING turned in favor of the main character, it was like Meyer had turned into a fan girl, it was all awkward to read… very unrealistic. There was no plot (no, there wasn’t) and it had the worst ending I have ever read in a book. Meyer introduced something, and didn’t even explore it all the way.

17. Choose one of your characters and describe them in three words.
Jim, I guess.

18. Does your character feel ‘alive’?
I havent really explored enough with him… he was the main character in my original short story. As for if HE feels alive? I havent figured it out yet… he is an odd character.

I am SICK and tired of my family, but mostly my mom.
I love my mom, I would be a disgusting wreck without her guidance, but her childish moping and “feel sorry for me” games need to stop!

I don’t know how to start this, so I’ll go by each person in this house (trailer) and why/how they are completely useless.

Brother: is 20 years old. Dropped out of school in 9th grade, got his GED, found a part time job last summer pushing carts at a super market.
All his day consists of is sleeping (with the light on), playing video games, going to work, and coming home, playing more video games, and complaining about EVERYTHING! He is a selfish, rude and mean person! He thinks he’s better than everyone (and he ADMITS it). He makes fun of me! When I used to watch anime, he would pick on me for that. He likes to pick on the fact that I like Japanese music “You’re not even American.”
He has NO goals in life. He’s lazy and fat, and gets offended very easily. He has no friends, and complains that I have too many… when really I’m just a social outcast at school. When its Saturday (house cleaning day) he does NOTHING and complains that he just got home from work and thus is excused from doing anything. So he goes back to his room to kill more brain cells playing video games.
Recently, he’s been turning egotistical. In online play, he talks to himself and praises himself every time he wins a match. When he looses, or he is shot down, he yells at the screen and says things like “I will destroy/kill you!” ITS STUPID!

Dad: is 59 years old. Is a procrastinator, packrat, and VERY conservative man. He eats EVERYTHING! Literally, the fridge is empty because of him. He’s only 150 pounds and is 6 feet tall (very skinny… bony even). He takes all the money and hides it, and doesn’t let my mom touch it. We’re getting less and less food for groceries because he wont share. Doesn’t take part in cleaning, and he thinks he is always right. He’ll start arguments and contradict himself over and over, but he never seems to GET IT! He’s very gullible and believes in conspiracies… like aliens (oh yeah, he’s dead serious) and the world ending at 2012. He praises Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh (conservative radio talk show hosts). He is DISCUSTING and only showers like, once a week (oh yeah, my brother has bad hygiene too). What I hate most is when he starts an argument, and makes himself look so pitiful, when really he’s trying to put the blame on someone else. Him and Mom ALWAYS argue to a point where mom will be screaming at him and lock her self in the bedroom, crying. That’s when I excuse myself from the house and take a long walk.

Mom: is 46 years old. A delicate little creature with a short fuse. Everything has to go her way. She loves complaining about her life to the pastors, who actually aren’t very nice to her (she’s complained to ME about them being mean to her). She cries easily and is offended very easily. I always have to watch my tongue around her, but my brother will always open his big mouth and say something that offends her, and she’ll frown and lock herself up in her room. Then when I yell at David for being such a douche bag, he just tells me to shut up, “You don’t tell me what to do!” I am the only one mom can relate to, because I am the ONLY one in this whole house who cleans and tries to comfort mom. No, not even dad will comfort his own wife. But recently she just freaked out for no reason saying things like, “I’m so underappreciated! Dad doesn’t do anything, you (David) just sit in your room all day and play video games, and Kristin is stuck behind her laptop!”
It’s gotten so regular, that I don’t feel sorry for her anymore. I do love my mom, and I think she is underappreciated, but I can’t have fun with her, like she would prefer me too. I want a mom, not a friend. If I want to hide in my room like any regular teenage social reject, then I will!
I tried to consol her, and tell her why she doesn’t just divorce dad (she’s brought it up before) but she was silent for a bit then said “What kind of minister is that?”
The Bible pretty much forbids divorces (I guess because 2 people are sworn together under God) but, if she’s so freakin’ unhappy… I don’t understand what the problem is.

As for me, I am 19 years old, homework procrastinator (yet still keeping my grades above 80) currently lacking in a job, drivers permit, and life. I am the only one that seems to seriously care about what’s going on in the house. And I’m not saying I’m better, I’m just saying that I actually do work.

once at school, found my locker. found it wiggled a lot. found it was bigger than my last one. found other girls automatically decorating their lockers with stuff.
mine is blank.

first class is study hall.
second is AP English. the teacher had a fun time scaring the students with how tough the year ahead will be. got homework.
third was gym. i hate gym. i overhead several girls saying they were going to drop out of AP English.
whiners.
4th class is Government/Economics. so far so good.

for the rest of the day until 2:20 i go to a trade school for Computer Networking (last year i went for just basic Computer tech.)

so, yeah. i'm a senior, i thought this day would never come. today we had a senior meeting and this lady told us that we should not be counting the days until grad, but making them count.
pssh, yeah, whatever.
i have no social life, and i don't really care.
i'm taking an AP class and am not planning on going to college.

actually, my future is pretty much blank.

i like my schedual though, i think it's definitely something i can work with (at least there's no science *gag*)

a few days ago i encountered a black spider on my pillow, and i smashed it to bits with my shoe!
just now, i was lounging on my bed, and i saw ANOTHER black spider crawling along the foot of my matress!

well, today, i started my laptop back up, just hoping i could do something.
and... it let me open files. it was weird... i was able to install Malware Bytes (an antivirus app.) but i can't run Malware Bytes... so i downloaded Norton antivirus thing (free trial) and did a virus scan on my laptop.

it didn't find any virus' so... i'm like, REALLY suspicious! why is my laptop suddenly acting like a virus was never here?
we'll see...

any way... i realized that when i review most fanfiction with constructive critisism, the author NEVER replies to me, and they NEVER update again... some others really welcome my advise, and they thank me, and then they update, and i see they've grown.

Now, i'm not the best writer, i certainly can't say that. but after going over just 2 chapters of one of my stories with my beta (my editor) i've learned so much! mostly about plot and flow, and i have improved quite a bit, after giving my new found knowlege a test run.

What i cant stand is when people just refuse to update because my review was the only one that offered critisism. (its true! lol in one story i reviewed (btw the writing was wretched) the reviewers before me were gushing about how awesome and "cute" it was or something... im like o.O )

here are 2 reviews i left for seperate stories (the ficclets were for AxelnRoxas) is there anything wrong with them? (apart from they are waay too long lol)

Grammar
a few mistakes in this chapter.
i notice a lot of people do this with the word "your"
you had, "your lover boy who doesn’t even know your best friends..."
"your" implies possession, "that is yours" what you are trying to say is "you're" (you are)
so, the first "your" in the sentence is fine, the second one should be switched to "you're"

also, i found Axel's rant a bit OOC. it fits with everything that's happened, so you shouldn't change it, but perhaps you should make it more subtle. it wasn't funny and it didn't come off as a rant either. you had it start out like a normal conversation... and suddenly i'm to believe it was a loud rant. if you're going for the dramatic effect, try emphasizing words with italics or a few pauses in between describing Roxas' growing shocked expression, and Axel ignoring it, anything really.

as well, the note conversation with Zexion. Since this is dialogue, it should not just be left with plain text. either italicize the words, or put an apostrophe before and after the statements (like quotes, but they're not speaking)

sorry, i'm sorta a critic at heart. My beta is getting to me lol
hope to see more from you, please do your best. you said this was your first fanfic? its really coming along (some firsts ive read are like... ugh >.< )

Plot

hm, this story has potential, but it seems a little too rushed. Everything is coming out so fast (like the rape and the confession)
what is the main point of the story? At this rate, this'll end up being a very short piece. I could imagine Axel calling Roxas up in the next chapter, and 2 chapters later, they would make up, right?

slow it down, perhaps explain in more detail this odd relationship between Roxas and Axel. The rape deal could be more of a life changing event if more back story was added to it. right now, i feel as if it's something desperately important to the story, but was just brushed aside after its mention.

I learned in Bio class (all those 1 year ago) that when snails mate, they stick to eachother. so, first i had fun... watching them (peeper) like this: o.O
then i slid them off eachother (never yank them appart... i heard that REALLY hurts!) and transferred one on top of the others shell. he/she slid across it and positioned itself back on the underside of the opposite.

"Mom, i found 2 snails!"

"Throw them to the chickens!"

"... But they're making love."

"Throw them to the chickens!"

"But they're making LOVE!"

"They'll eat my garden-"

"BUT THEY'RE MAKING LOVE!!"

i totally forgot that i had a speech i needed to write for Public Speaking (someone please tell me why i took this class?!) and so had nothing prepared for Monday (today) i had literaly, NOTHING planned out. So, i went to the teacher and asked her if i could presentate(sp!) tomorrow, but she said no, cause tomorrow we're going to the elemantary school to read to little kids (its our Final) so i ws like... okay.

so i went up with nothing... winging it, as we call it.
What this speech was supposed to be was a Cerimonial Speech (giving a speech TO somone) i had picked mine as giving a speech to the next president of the US (a girl in my class).
i failed, like big time fail. like CompTIA A+ Certification fail... except more epicness.
the teacher told me to shut up in a droll tone of voice after i had refused to say anymore on my made up words and crap, so i had a seat.

HERES WHAT BUGS ME!
The next group who went up, the boy didnt have his speech with him. the teacher said he could go tomorrow.

ugh! it was so hot!
Washington DC was more of a historical place, while NYC is more of shopping, media, and culture, lots of culture in NYC, but I actually saw a lot of Indians in DC.
K, lets start from the first day.

Thursday morning:
got to the school at what... 6? yeah, 6 O'clock am.
i was late, but i still could have my mom come back with all the stuff i forgot!
my pillow
razor
towel/bathing suit
sun screen
extra batteries
a second memory card
the list was longer, but i wont ramble about that.

we got on the bus (we managed to fit 11 people into the bathroom) (they didn’t stay in the bathroom)
i think the trip took around 6 hours including rest stops... but iono

the first day, all we did was sight see. I thought it was neat. we went inside Fords Theatre (Lincoln was shot there, no way!) then went inside the house he died in... ridiculously outrageous prices on stuff (city shopping, bah) oh, before all that, we saw the back of the White house (now the Black house HAHA!… what?) and there was a protest going on outside the fence. Kinda cool, I’ve never seen a protest before. I took several pictures.

After spending the whole day walking and sight seeing, we finally booked into a hotel, and I fell asleep around 11:30ish
And woke up around 6 the next morning.

Friday
The first thing we did (after breakfast) was play (I’m in the marching band… the whole trip was for the marching band lol in case I forgot to mention) for the lame judges who gave us first place in our class (and jazz band) when we sucked so hard
After that was Busch Gardens. I almost passed out and died, it was so hot. I was also exhausted! I was sleepwalking all day, I tell ya. Rode almost every ride in the park. I love roller coasters but, let me re iterate: I WAS EFFING EXHAUSTED! We stayed there until 9 pm (I don’t know why the chaperones insist on letting us stay until the park closes)

Went to bed around 11:30ish again. Our wake up call was 6 (not 5 thank God)

Saturday
Saturday was the worst… I really felt sick and disgusting. And yes, I’m complaining, cause I wanted this trip to be done with now. We went to museums, and an empty zoo. (so boring) then visited the Arlington Cemetery… that’s where I was definitely the walking dead. I think the temp was in the 90s. I was wearing a black shirt, So that’s my fault there. The tombstones were everywhere! I wish I had my other memory card (grr) saw Lincolns grave with the torch. I watched these Marines march and do cool flicks with there side arms at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Really snappy, I bet those guys were hot in those uniforms… marching around all day… back and forth. I wish I could have taken a picture ;_;

That night, we went to a professional baseball game, the Washington Nationals vs. the (Idontknow) Oriels. It was awesome! I didn’t have to get up and walk around, the air wasn’t so hot, and there was one homerun. The Oriels won 2-1. I’m not a baseball fan, but it was fun to watch.
I bought a freaking ice cream cone for $4

Went to bed around 11.
Wake up call was at 7! Yes!

Sunday

Oh right, we went to Gettysburg Pennsylvania and a tour guide told us all about it. Intense. The battlefield was huge, and the scenery was beautiful. does anyone else see the creepy resemblence to the Virgin Mary when she had washed Jesus' feet? the way the camera backed out, and L's position over Light was just sooo... ironical. ugh, it was so weird! But knowing Tsugumi Ohba, thats percisely how she wanted it to look. go watch that episode again... you'll see what i mean

"aww, they're drying eachother off" xD sorry, but i can't ever imagine L and Light together... its just so weird, and wrong. but it was funny seeing this freind/enemy situation being acted out. i'll be serious here, in volume... 6 when Light spun L around in his chair to look at him, i really did think he was going to give L a smooch

our English teacher today was doing one of her off-topic ramblings, and she brought up censorship in the schools computer. Yay that she's against it, but then she started saying how the school moniters what you do on the computer, even what you type.
I already knew this... which is why i NEVER write fan fiction on the schools Microsoft Word (though, its handy)
so, i regularly check out a laptop whenever i get struck with inspiration to write fanfiction in Microsoft Word.
I figured that the school couldn't possibly see what we were doing on the laptops... that just seems a little to creepy...
but they do see!
everything i have ever typed on the laptops, they read!

lol

i wouldn't be amused as much if it wasn't YAOI i was typing (no, Nina, not hardcore gross man sex) but, just enough drama and humor and kisses to make the regular foreigner blush
i... dont think they know it's ME typing all this, but i do wonder what they think when they read it. did they bother continuing after the first few times?

My material weakness is manga.
Ya know, those Japanese comic books?
I love them so much! (They’re not first in my life, of course). So, I collect them. I think it’s a pretty neat thing to collect. Especially if I can get them in their original Japanese text . I only have one Japanese manga, that I bought for $4 online. All the others, all 46 others, are in English. I’m very proud of my small collection, it’s neat, and it really shows who I am. I love looking at the art in a manga, and I guess that can reflect me (I like drawings). Although, they are very hard to come by. I rarely buy manga brand new because of the price (8-11 dollars). So, I get a lot used off the internet, and as gifts. I only collect wheat I read, so I wont get bored. My friends (who are geeks, like me) envy my collection, and that kinda makes me proud.

Today I finally finished my report on global warming. I was half way through yesterday, 2 more paragraphs and a conclusion. When I got home (still yesterday) I sat at the table with my references laid out before me, and did nothing. It’s major procrastination, I’m telling you. If it can be diagnosed (can it?) I’d have it.
Totally.
You can stick me in a white room with no color, and I’d still find something to distract myself.
Now the teacher knows my best excuse.
I checked out a laptop this morning, took it on the Boces bus with me. Typed in it on the Boces bus. Let it charge in the computer tech room while we assembled tables and chairs (in a computer lab, of all places). Unplugged it, got back on the Boces bus. Finished everything except the conclusion on the bus. Ate a really fast lunch, my tummy still hurts. Typed the conclusion in the library, re-did the font, thus re doing the works cited page (gotta love that).
I now know waaay too much on the issue of global warming. I may be a second hand expert now.
Pretty good mood all day, my clarinet sounds really pretty today.

Happy day crushed.
I hate complaining. So I’ll stop here on that subject.
Got home and watched Marley and Me for the first time.
I did not cry.
Mom and Dad did.
My heart must be getting harder.

i want a comment... but not just any comment, a good, well thought out, poetic comment of sorts. if you havent noticed yet, i'm kinda a poetic person, especially well thought out ones and one's that use pretty words (aww) cause i'm feeling kinda silly at the moment, i'm also happy cause i got a free windows '98 computer (it always shuts off by itself) i love it -^_^-

i actually got 2 (count it, TWO) windows '98 computers. one i gave to my brother, which has a DVD drive in it *shock!* so i get to watch my Koda Kumi dvd's again! (whoot!) she's so pretty :3
cause i have a region 3 dvd with 18 of her music videos on it, another MV dvd with 12 videos on it, and 2 concert dvd's (wow thats sexy o.o
so i watched them yesterday, i forgot how much i loved watching her perform live (she's amazing! >.< a total slut bag too >.>

going to summer acting program starting tomorrow (14th) should be fun... i havent danced in a while either... i like acting!

yup!

Last week, July 2nd, started my 4-day vacation at 's house. Great fun it was, i got to see W.A.L.L.I.E (the movie w/the secret political message) where Nina, Elaine, Rachel, and I ate candy and laughed at the fat people of the future (haha)

I shared information that Genesis (from Crisis Core FFVII [PSP] (OMG buy it!) ) was voiced by the uber smexy Gackt! And he looks so much like him! >:3 it was creepy... yet so very cool watching that Genesis/Angeal/Sephiroth fight, cause in the CGI cutscene, it IS Gackt >.< ah! so pretty ;_;
Crap, I feel a ramble about Crisis Core coming up! I did just buy it... my brother already beat the game... but i'm kinda weary... i dont wanna see Zack die! >.< he's so cool! dern it!
yeah, i'll ramble some other time...

anyways... the next day, after the movie, we went to Elaines house, where i had a life or death experience walking in a slippery river to a waterfall *shiver shiver*
also watched Mulin Rouge, i'm glad everyone likes it

it went by really fast, but i'm sure that was just cause Nina was there.

i had pondered about going to college there, just for the fellowship (everyone is so nice to me) but while i was there, i sat in on the first year classes.

on Monday,
1st hour: we studied the gosple of John
2nd hour: Spiritual Warfare
3rd hour: Christian Ethics

really educational o.o and i could go here cause it has all the topics i want to learn, good stuff.

at the end of Monday, some students (including myself) went to home group, where i learned how to make maple candy (yum) and swing dance
yes... Swing Dance lol
it's so much fun! except, perhaps, being thrown around like a rag doll >.< i learned the steps and several moves oooh i need to teach a guy so i can dance again haha

Tuesday... Chaple started at 9, but ran over until 12:30, and so we had no classes. after lunch, i went hiking with my new friend Katie, for 2 hours... and got lost ._. i took pictures though! you can see them on my myspace after i post this. i fell in the creek -_-

Wensday classes...
1st hour: Marriage and Family (the good and evil wife lol)
2nd hour: the book of Revelation (the seven seals! OMG!)
i skipped 3rd hour, which was Ethics again.
Chaple then lunch...

i played Frizbee Golf... fun. alot of walking. had a chocolate egg war with Brandon, and played basket ball... o.o

all in all, i had such a great time, i made alot of new friends and met my old ones ^_^

lesse, i'll try and name off my new friends so i dont forget later haha

and i'm being tested for mononucleosis "the kissing disease" though i havent been kissing much at all
