and then i met Bhasker Rao , went to his studio.. i cant even attempt to explain the experience.. he is the most humble and simple artist i have met.. i cant explain..

For my own part, I declare I know nothing whatever about it. But to look at the stars always makes me dream, as simply as I dream over the black dots of a map representing towns and villages. Why, I ask myself, should the shining dots of the sky not be as accessible as the black dots on the map of France? If we take the train to get to Tarascon or Rouen, we take death to reach a star. One thing undoubtedly true in this reasoning is this: that while we are alive we cannot get to a star, any more than when we are dead we can take the train.

So it doesn't seem impossible to me that cholera, gravel, pleurisy & cancer are the means of celestial locomotion, just as steam-boats, omnibuses and railways are the terrestrial means. To die quietly of old age would be to go there on foot.

Now I am going to bed, because it is late, and I wish you good night and good luck.

i am sure i will be makin full use of this subscription...wanna conduct a poll soon..
... ma last journal was a rant bot the "disasterous" month...n i cant belive how good this mont has been for me !!! I had the ABSOLUTE honour of participating in a 5 day painting camp..with some of real famous artists.... there were 3 national award winners...it was one experience i'll never forget !!!
helped me a lot to observe all these great people in their element .. the place was beautiful...it's bot 50 kms from where i live...surrounded by forest..n it was the best time to be there...monsoon...the greeney everywhere was ...uhhh...i cant think of words.The most special thing about the place was it was a place that was lookin after orphans..children n youth of many differnt ages.. their joyful faces...their hospitality..forgetit..i cant think of words.. there is one pair of eyes that is still hauntin me.
many of the other artists seem to have liked my work..that has been a real boost to my confidence. there us some more days to go..it has been a busy month..n there is still a LOT of work to do...so bye
ps...i really could not forget myself yesterday coz i forgot to mention in my journal....real sorry john
