I am having surgery to have my gallbladder removed on Friday morning. I'd love it if you'd keep me in your thoughts/prayers/sacrifices/whatever for the next several days. I'm very nervous about it.

Christmas was kind of a bust. I knew I wouldn't be getting anything for it, but you always hope.

I would be super happy if someone extends my subby past February... *hint hint* *dangles a picture request for whoever does it, even if it's more than one person *

I'll probably make a longer update sometime after Friday.

BC/EFA still needs the donations. The strike lasted for two weeks, and that is two weeks worth of no donation collections at Broadway shows.

Anime: Could use some work story-wise. Most of it is well animated and it is very well voiced. Beautiful music. I didn’t like the end too much, but it was alright.
(FUNimation (English version: Troy Baker, Mike McFarland, Colleen Clinkenbeard), Gonzo (animation))

Manga: (99.5/100) Very cute. Sticks to some of the novel, and a little of the anime, but it’s mostly an entity all by itself.

Novel: (99.5/100) Very good so far. I wish Tokyopop would release it faster…

-Samurai Champloo: 98/100
Anime: Not too happy with the ending, but it was alright. Well voiced and mostly well animated.

Manga: (90/100) Very different from the anime, since it was made as a kind of addition to the anime.

-Howl's Moving Castle: 100
Anime Movie: Very good. Extremely well voiced.
(Disney (English version: Christian Bale, Crispin Freeman (very small part)), Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki. From the novel by Diane Wynn Jones)

-Hellsing (a/m): 97/100
Anime: It’s own story. Only episodes 1-6 have anything to do with volumes 1 and 2 of the manga, since that was all that available when they started the anime. 7-13 deviate quite a bit. It’s pretty well animated and well voiced.

OVA: Blood fest… But very good. Well animated, well voiced. The sound mix is off sometimes though (the music covers the voice work).
(Anime and OVA: Geneon (English: Crispin Freeman, Victoria Harwood, KT Gray), Gonzo (anime), Satelite (OVA))

Manga: (97/100) Good, but the drawing style changes quite a bit throughout.

-Witch Hunter Robin: 97/100
Anime: Strange, but good. It starts off slow, and everything start to come together around the middle episodes.

-Chrono/Chrno Crusade: 98/100
Anime: Very cute. Not fond of the ending, but I suppose it’s the way it had to end. Very well animated and well voiced.

-Full Metal Panic FUMOFFU: 100
Anime: You can jump right in without being familiar with the first season/series. I liked it a lot. It’s a good time waster, since (I guess) it doesn’t move the plot along much.

-Jing King of Bandits (a/m): 90/100
Anime: Very faithful to the manga. I wish there was a little more in it, but shows are only so long in run time. Well animated, but it looks more like a kids show than an anime.

Manga: (99/100) I love it. Well drawn, though the pages get a little cluttered at times with action.

-Fullmetal Alchemist: 99/100
Anime: I love it. Apparently the second half deviates from the manga, but it still weaves a logical story. The movie (Conqueror of Shamballa) is a good end to the series. Well animated and well voiced.

-Bleach: 95/100
Anime: Very good, though it’s taking a long time to do things. Well animated and well voiced.

-Trigun: 93/100
Anime: Something different. I liked it but didn’t like the ending (sensing a theme here?). Well animated and well voiced.

- It will be in my style, which is a combination of anime and manga. I will try to keep as close to the original character design as I can.

3. Tell me what you want and how you would like to pay so I can give you my info.

It seems that now, and who knows how long this has been going on, you cannot "age up" a character in fan art.

This policy, and dA's hypocrisy, has deleted some wonderful artwork and driven off many artists. *Zyephens-Insanity has deleted many works, and pretty much left, ~jojo-kun has taken down some of her works and has had quite the conversation with an admin, *tomoe2005 has taken some of her stuff down, and *rashiea has deleted a chunk of her gallery, not to mention any others that I don't watch, or that haven't written a journal about it.

This saddens me. it makes me afraid to post ANYTHING. It makes me afraid that much of the art in my favorites will be gone.

I understand the need to protect minors, but these are FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, and if something is mature, and it is tagged as MATURE, MINORS SHOULD NOT BE LOOKING AT IT!

What is worse is that harmless pictures are being deleted. A fully-clothed hug between InuYasha and Kagome was taken down. There is worse stuff than *most* of the fan art I've seen.

If you're angry, you could write to the admins, but you'll only get a confusing answer in return, like jojo did. I advise you that if you do write, make sure you write it clearly and make it well worded. Angry, flaming letters don't do any good. It has to be professional and level headed.

It seems like they don't want fan artists here...

1). I use my middle finger on the touchpad of my laptop.

2). I love anime and I enjoy anime being made fun of. I find humor in many things, and don't mind OOC in FanFiction, especially if it's funny.

3). Like Uryuu Ishida, I like to do needlework, cross-stitch mostly.

4). I read Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and New Tales of the Vampires (total of 12 books, interrupted by books for school) in 11 months.

5). Liked Lestat the musical, Even though it failed miserably on Broadway.

6).I watch more TV than a normal person should, but it has given me information that I wouldn't have had otherwise.
